Jolly pumpkin is one of the few places I will go when I want high-quality American food. I love that they have multiple locations in southeast Michigan too! Their truffle fries are so good :) Pros: great atmosphere, nice servers, quick service, the pizza and fries are great and there's a nice selection of beer Cons: no *real* cons! I really don't have anything to complain about with jolly pumpkin. However, the only reason why it doesn't have 5 stars is because, while everything tastes good, it never goes beyond that for me.

Jolly pumpkin has a lot of good sour beers. Just got the truffle fries this time and they were a good sized portion to share. I've had other food in the past and it had been consistently good

As you've heard from others, this place has really good pizza! We ordered the Fire & Smoke pizza, which was excellent! The truffle fries were good as well. I did not try any of the beer or adult drink options, this time, but most others in the place seemed to be enjoying there drinks. Jolly Pumpkin is on the list of places I'd revisit!

It's incredibly hard to get Jolly Pumpkin beers out west. This is mostly due to distribution rights & contacts. We visited the taproom in East Lansing. The place was packed but somehow, we managed to get a table. The beers were terrific. They specialize in sours, wilds and saisons/farmhouses. Did was equally good. I'm assuming they usually are busy being as close as they are to the university.

We love Jolly Pumpkin over here at Social House. It's right around the block from our office and it's a great bar to hit up after work. They have a large draft beer list and great food options. We love to sit outside on the patio when it's nice out and the workers are all super friendly. Great place to grab a beer!

Great place for Jolly Pumpkin Beers. Some of the best that Michigan has to offer. Bartenders know their stuff and are friendly. Pizza is great.

Amazing food! I have tried their chicken pizzas and truffle mushroom, they are all delicious. There is no wrong choice here😄

So today was my brother's wife's birthday and we decided to go up to Detroit to go see Ed Sheeran. I was coming out of third Man records and I told my brother that jolly pumpkin was pretty tasty. So excited to sit down and have some amazing drinks and some awesome food. The inside is pretty dope with industrial piping & lighting. Service is awesome and on point. If you love garlic aioli they have killer truffle fries. An awesome smoked gouda smoked turkey with apple butter on a biscuit. And last but not least a cheese pizza with pepperoni bacon and spinach.

Jolly Pumpkin has been a staple in Midtown for years. I had the Fire and Smoke chicken pizza and my friend had the Lamb Kafta pizza. Both were very good. The food came out quick. The beer select is large. I like the addition of North Peak beers.

You can go in and grab a table and then they can give you a menu. Once you decide what you want, you go to the end of the bar and order. We ordered some truffle fries. They were really good that we had a cheese pizza and then we ordered some other pizzas. All of it was excellent. They give you a number and then they bring it out to your number. There's us a little bakery inside there. We had to kids with us. They had the chicken strips of vegetarian. They felt something very easily. But the kids did like the pizza also

As best I can tell, their pizza margherita is really just a cheese pizza with no sauce, It's mostly regular pizza cheese and a regular pizza crust, with just a few blobs of fresh mozzarella here and there, a scanty amount of sun dried tomatoes, and some basil. It would be better with a covering of fresh tomatoes, nothing but fresh mozzarella, and a thinner, crispier crust---as most pizza margaherita is typically prepared. Very good hard cider and in-house brews. Friendly, helpful staff, but you're your own waiter much of the time. Food prices are on the higher side, beer prices are typical for craft breweries. Atmosphere is nice, with lots of wood balancing the steel and concrete. Moderately noisy when crowded.

We had sandwiches and salads.(Didn't try the pizza, but it looked good). Everything we had was really good. The bartender was working hard making sure everyone was taken care of. Nice selection of beers to suit everyone's taste. We'll be back!

This was our first visit here and loved the vibe and decor, from the large windows to the modern working man's Detroit bar. We took a seat at the bar and ordered a few flights and were impressed by the variety and combination of ingredients in the beers. Jolly Pumpkin represents themselves well even if they don't have pumpkin beer all year around. Next time we will bring our appetites. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our return!

Overall pretty good, can't go wrong with jolly pumpkin's beer it's fantastic if you don't like sours or general good flavor you can always have north peak beers which are also on tap. Pizza was ok pretty good, went nice with the beer but not the best ever. The unique toppings/sauces were a good call. Kinda has a corporate vibe so you really don't feel like you're supporting a small business. The quality of the JP beer doesn't really match this vibe but hey, get that money. Obama ate here and they immortalized it and I think that is super cool. Next door is jack white the musicians third man records, where they press vinyl records. 15 years ago this block was practically just traffic jam and snug and motor city brewery so it's really nice to see it developed and looking vibrant. The place in the building where you remove the beer from your body has you redistribute it back into a keg.

Great variety of sours and delicious vegan options! Service was also kind and attentive!

A moderately expensive restaurant in midtown Detroit.. the best thing about the place is the ease with which you can order the regular items on the menu right from your phone… the ambience is good…. Although they can do a little better than offering proper cutlery instead of paper plates….
