The food is delicious and filling. You never need seconds. The decor is creative and artistic and the people are friendly. Reasonably economic pricing and a nice variety too.

The food was delicious! The baked chicken was moist and the skin was crispy. I also had a vegetable combo of cauliflower and green beans that was excellent! The art work on the walls topped off the experience.

I walk blocks to get to the Cafe; it was Noel Night, the event is held yearly in Midtown Detroit. There were thousands of people there to Celebrate, so many places to go and discover, well I discovered the Hannah Cafe last year, the food was good then, and now. I will return once again to eat the food. I spoke to the owner, and I said I will be back, and she replied don't wait until the next Noel Night. I said to myself, I will probably come back this month, the food is a comfort food, and it feels like you're eating from your kitchen.

Went for the first time on a Thursday.Thats meat loaf day at the cafe.The service was good,and the food was even better.It was a very cute homey little cafe (located in the seniors building.The waitress was pleasant and accommodating.She made sure that we got whatever we needed,and in a timely fashion.I loved the quaintness of it as well.Not very large,but it was enough elbow space,and that's what matters while dining.The decor really caught my eye.They had nice art on the walls,and live tall indoor plants too...Really cute,and appeared clean.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, food was EXCELLENT. Had a wonderful time watching the Thanksgiving Parade and eating Chicken and waffles ( very very good).

It was my first experience visiting Hannon House....I enjoyed myself there; I attended the poetry reading. I would recommend the place to anyone who is interested in a good southern meal or good poetry reading....

Personable staff and great food. Only drawback is location if you're not familiar with the area and the space is intimate which is okay if you like small spaces.
