Have eaten here a lot in the past and have stopped eating here as the meat quality has changed but decided to come back few days ago to give it another try but their cooked meals have changed a lot since I last went here. Japchae is very dry and bland, teokbokki seems overcooked and we didn't like the uncooked meats. Pretty much we won't be back anymore. Hope they do something about it as it wasn't the way they were before and have also increased their pricing..

$28 per person all-you-can-eat buffet. Foods are quite fresh and there are more variety of options (meat and veges) than most other Korean bbq buffet at this price range. Due to COVID-19, it is better to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Basic hygiene protocol applies, including using a disposable gloves (provided) and a mask when picking your foods from buffet trays.

You’ve gotta time it right to get fresh food. Don’t go too close to closing time as they will stop bringing out food. The buffet is simple with a few great staples. Great meat selection. There is ice cream too. They could step up the sauce game. And lettuce. More lettuce! And maybe mushrooms. One of my favorite little KoreanBBQs in Auckland.

Second time to eat here and I just love the unlimited bulgogi and spicy chicken and kimchi.. Two hours of bbq is good enough, and great service! Booking is required!

They have fresh food every two hours. And lots of choices to choose from most of all place is clean and tidy and the staff are all nice. Been a loyal customer hear for more than three years now…

Still a good place to eat But with the increase of price by $10 from $25-$35 and and not many extra choices. I would recommend Steamboat & Korean BBQ buffet Takapuna 2min walk from this place. Gangnam place was our family go to because of the fresh meat that you can cook and price was great for the number of choices and sides. Says more added to menu but we were there few days ago and not many extra choices. Steamboat buffet has double the menu/buffet and sides and costs an extra $2. They also have a bar and place is bigger and cleaner.

There's fresh seafood and a huge selection of meats. Desserts are included. Their renditions of Filipino staples leave much to be desired, hence the four-star rating. Other than that I felt like it was one of the best budget buffets we tried in Auckland, where you get way more than what you paid for.

On Wednesday at around 5:30pm, I went with someone and we were having dinner however the Customer Service was extremely poor with lack of staff. I waited 4-5 mins for them to change the gas can however they didn't come and instead we had to go up to them to ask them to change it. Highly recommend somewhere else if this place is busy as there is lack of staff on the weekdays.

ALLERGIES BEWARE I asked the staff member if there were any peanuts in any of the dishes before I sat down to eat. He assured me there were no peanuts and pointed to their allergen information on the walls. There was nothing mentioning peanuts. I started having an allergic reaction and then the same staff member tells me "oh sorry there is one dish with peanuts in it". I luckily have a mild allergy but someone could of very well DIED due to this negligence. The staff member then got me to talk to the owner on the phone to explain why I wasn't paying and the owner sat there trying to argue with me that there are no peanuts. I wonder why my face was swollen up like a balloon then while the owner tried to argue... No sort of compensation was offered, just excuses. Very poor experience.

I really liked dessert. I wasn't know name's that but I couldn't eat it. It was scrumptious. 👍

Cockroach fell into our food from the vents. Manager did absolutely nothing about it. Edit: They've apologized and have offered a free meal to make up for. Historically, they have been the best KBBQ place in the city, once they fix the pest issue they'll be back on top.

The restaurant is a bit smaller considering this is located in the heart of Takapuna which is expected that customer traffic is known. Food is very satisfying and a lot of choices to grill to. However aside from the spaces of the restaurant, their grill pads need to be changed all the time as if its not changed the food gets burned easily.

This is mine and my partners all time favourite buffet. We love the chicken nibbles here and the variety of meats,seafood,sides. We also love the price $25pp . Cheaper for kids , We often come here whenever we get the chance and we always leave satisfied,happy and full, thats a gurantee. I recommend you book in advance otherwise you risk waiting a half an hour upto a hour because it can get busy. They do have areas for small and large groups. It does get very busy and it is a small place but we enjoy coming here. Yes i would recommend trying it but i know it wont be for everyone , I will highly likely be coming back . Staff are good to deal with aswell we have had no problems

The meat was good, but sometimes the trays are empty. Especially the cooked food part. There seems only two staff working on the floor. They are helpful but kind of under staffed. The table is small, actually the whole place is small.

Good selection of meats, both marinated and plain. Good seafood as well. Pre-cooked food is tasty, especially the spicy fried chicken. The servers are helpful and will come change your grill often. Price is also competitive at $28 per person. Overall a great kbbq experience!

In my opinion this place is really good for the price you paying 👍 tasty ,big variety of meats and enough side dishes,salads. Today was my 5th time here and will come again 👍 Recommended

Visited Takapuna for lunch today and noticed a new layout. Have been a few times in the past. Food was great loved all the selection of meats and ready to eat hot food. Our go to Korean BBQ spot. Highly recommend

Great Food for all you can eat for $35 dollars, nice dessert opinion & fresh meat. The Asian lady behind the cashier very nice and friendly, I don't know who you definitely needs a pay rise ☺️

Although the food variety is not many, the food quality is good. I like beef, and pork belly. Seafood and cooked food also delicious. The price is NZD35 for an adult in June/2023

Good quality fresh meat and a very good grill. The rest of the menu was hit or miss, but nothing too bad. The deserts had plenty of variety and was constantly restocked. I had gotten the last cake they had and ate it, and after 5 minutes the plate had already been full! Also, the strawberry sauce they had for the ice cream is absolutely impeccable. The experience is not the same without it.

Had dinner here for 5. Customer service was good.Reasonable Price. Fresh meat,wish they had more variety and the hot food was okay but could be improved.Didnt really agree on having pudding underneath salads in a open fridge as some salads were found in the fruit salad. Overall its was good for money worth $35 pp Would come back again 😀

The workers are so lovely! The foods great and prices is good. Uou get a selection of cooked meals and also raw food that you cook yourself. Loved the curry and fried chicken. Good little restruant and great for family/friend get togethers

Not much options but still good. The cooked food were dry when we got there most of the bowels were empty.

I have been to this place many times. Often the staff behave like robots but the girl who was on the shift today work black glasses is lovely and her customer service skills are just amazing. Happy and smiley and presentable and very clear. GIVE HER A PAYRISE and let her teach others. She should be the manager. I complimented her and she was very happy.

Easily the worst buffet place I've been to. All the rice dishes were so dry to the point of being one large rock and the soup dishes all had a thick skin on top. The young lady at the counter was fine nothing wrong with her service

Fantastic restaurant. We always come here. Don’t know why there are negative reviews - heaps of food to choose from, very clean and tastes fantastic! Honestly $35 per person for all you can eat is very fair in this day and age. Best BBQ in Auckland!

The tables were sticky and found spoons in the cutlery with stains of food. The cold dishes looks really old and not fresh. The fried rice are dried on the top seems it was left there open overnight. Mind you we were the first lot of diners, already some of the food trays were empty and not filled . The quality of food is so below par. Don't even try opening the ice cream containers in the freezer! So not worth but we were glad we came so we know that we will not return !
