The place is really great. It's a big place and it's pretty good if you want to book it for an occasion. The food is actually more than average but I wouldn't say it is really good. The starter items are mostly good. The main dishes are not up to mark. The vegetables were not properly cooked. The Mutton Rejala did not have quality meat. It was full of fat, it could've been a bit more better. The pasta needed a bit more flavor, it was really bland. These are just the few items that seemed a bit off from the main dishes. The best parts are the desserts. All of them are so great. Absolutely delicious and you will have the urge take more. Specially the cheesecake and the bread pudding. Probably one of the best I ever had. 10/10 for desserts. So all in all, is it one of the best buffet out there? No. But is it worth spending your money? Probably yes. Will you have a nice family friendly time without any botheration from the staffs? Absolutely yes. Go check it out, they are pretty great.

One of the best budget buffet, food taste is really good with varieties of options. Interior, sitting arrangement is good, desert items with lots of variations is really tasty. Definitely recommended. Only disadvantage is entry point, after giving 3 rounds of building we found it, and entry lift is small, only 5-6 person can take lift one at a time. Overall 7 out of 10.

This is the buffet experience you wouldn’t wanna miss. I had lunch there. There were a variety of food items. From salads to sea foods, from a number of Chicken items to deserts. And also a live Dosa station. Every item looked really delicious. Food tasted amazing mostly. Some of the items used the same sauce or gravy, so the taste was really similar for those items. For this type of high budget place, they at least could have mixed up some spices. Other than this, every bite was enjoyable. The place can get really crowded after a while. It’s a buffet after all. The stuffs were mostly good, although they should smile more often while serving. Enjoy and don’t waste food.

Today was my birthday! So i take my wife on a lunch date! We made reservations on Thursday, Luckily we got the confirmations. This was our first time trying for us in The rio Lounge. Food Quality was very good. The maximum items are delicious. It was really amazing that they had various fish fried time. The Dory fish fry was superb. Per person Price was 1150 BDT for lunch. If you have a budget around this i recommend you try the Rio Lounge.

Suitable for small parties & hangout. Become very congested at dinner time during weekends (Friday & Saturday).

The appetizers are generally good, but the main dishes could use improvement. The vegetables were not cooked to a satisfactory level and the Mutton Rejala was not of high quality meat, it was excessively fatty and could have been better. The pasta lacked flavor and was quite bland. The desserts, however, are outstanding, particularly the cheesecake and bread pudding, which are among the best I've ever had. Overall, while it may not be the best buffet option available, it is still worth the cost and a pleasant experience for families without any issues with staff. It's worth checking out.

Worst Buffet ever I have tasted, their food quality wasn't satisfactory as we thought and not found enough food items that they mentioned in their site/Facebook page. Some of their dessert items was 2/3 days old and odorous. Not recommended :(

The Roi Lounge is located on the top of the Pink City Shipping Complex at Gulshan 2. It's a big place to have buffet lunch and dinner. Time is 1pm to 4pm. And 7pm to 10 pm. This place is very good for through party also. Very much friendly environment to Everyone.

I think it’s the cheapest place for buffet in gulshan or banani area. The environment is very nice and specious, can arrange any kind of big party here. Important part of a buffet restaurant is refill of food and they are good at it, food were very good lots of items in a reasonable price. Definitely i would recommend this restaurant.

Rio Lounge one of the best budget Buffet Restaurant in the city. Interior is very nice. Huge seating capacity with good/nice furniture. Buffet line is nicely organized. More then 100 items in the buffet. Good salad items with desserts. Three type of Susi is there as well. Three type of rice, Naan Ruti, Beef, Chicken, Fish with some vegetable items. Food quality is good, but they used sauce & something else to make the food more tastier which I didn't like. If you want to try huge variety items with great price, you can visit here. They offer 100 plus items in lunch @ Tk. 950 and 120 plus items in dinner @ Tk. 1150. Staff are very good. Clean restaurant.

One of the best places in Dhaka to have buffet. The price is reasonable for the items they offer in their buffet. They have all type of food items and desserts. Good place for family outing. There's a kids zone as well. Spacious and well decorated. Hygiene and clean. Corporate programs could be held. Accepts all sorts of cards as well as cash payments. Pre-booking is not necessary but recommended. Offers no parking facilities. Well behaved and good services.

They have variety of items and many of them are testy and delicious. I loved and enjoyed the buffet. The problem I found is that their soft drinks is limited to one item and their restrooms is really low in number. The good thing about them is their interior is well enough and It's a large arrangement. Also, they have a kids corner.

This is a good buffet restaurant. They serve more than 100 items in dinner and cost is Tk.1250 per person. Taste of their foods are average. Behaviour of Staffs are very good and they are very cooperative. A small kids zone is available there. They have a large parking facility in the basement.

I recently had the misfortune of dining at The Rio Lounge, and I have to say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The buffet looked unappetizing, with stale-looking dishes that appeared to have been sitting out for hours. The selection was limited and the quality of the food was so bad. The service was even worse than the food. The staff was uninterested in helping or engaging with customers and seemed more concerned with chatting with each other. It was nearly impossible to get their attention to ask for anything. In summary, I would not recommend The Rio Lounge to anyone looking for a quality buffet experience. The food was unappetizing, the service was poor, and the atmosphere was dismal. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Located in the center of gulshan 2 near westin. Firstly its a big one with 120 items allocation.the price range is affordable if you think about gulshan. The food mostly tasty beside that the squid, crab and bbq of fish was exceptional. Their desert mostly was cale type which dishearten us. All over the atmosphere is nice for family of office hangout but the washroom issue is big concern. They have only two washroom which is not adequate for a large buffe place like rio lounge

Food tastes vary from person to person but we went Sunday and they serve whole lamb but it was not cooked properly, taste less and cold. The rest of the food tastes disappointing and I will never go there, the price wise it was a worthless dinner for me. The ambiance was satisfactory and the service was decent. They have a variety of foods and if you need a place there you can occupy money with your nearest and dearest one and it doesn't matter the food tastes then it's up to you. I'll not recommend anyone to go there. There are other buffets in the city and you can try those.

I was there for a lunch buffet that they served. And when it comes to restaurants or dinning lounges, I personally care most about the taste of the food more than anything else. The dinning experience, hospitality and services comes next. So accordingly, the food was in simple good enough for me to try this place out a second time. May be a 8/10. Although some of the food they provided were quite off to me, like the pizza tasted stale to me, whereas my friends got freshly baked pizzas and they ran out of momos when I went to the buffet station. And lastly the kacchi tasted a little dry while the crab was a little undercooked. And the sushi felt a little "not gonna try here again" for me. The soups were pretty basic and good to go. Other than that, the rest were first class, specially the desserts and the indian cusines. Salads were attrative and fresh and tasty at the same time. They provide bengali cuisines too, didn’t try but I believe they won't be depressing. The space is perfect for family dinners or friends and family get together. Could be good for celebrating special days . While sudden occasions can be celebrated too without a hesitation, for the dinning hall are always to go with any ambiance. The stuffs are very friendly, cooperative and always around when needed. Security is a matter too. The place is CCTV monitored but it’s better to be self aware for unexpected circumstances.

I had the opportunity to dine in both lunch & diner on two separate occasions. Food quality was okay. Some of the main dishes comes very late after the buffet service starts. Such as: Beef, mutton or mutton kacci come almost 1 hour late. Sushi is very cold. Diner service is better. With the price feels okay overall.

if you are looking for some good food, in a good place, with great service, this is the place to go. i would first like to talk about their service. it was great. there are waiters all over the place always ready to assist you. with just a brief raise of hand, you can get their attention and surely someone would come to serve you. they will clean the table, provide drinks (refill them even), and every other service that you prefer. secondly, the atmosphere. the vibe of this place is rather fancy. the seats are comfortable to sit on and, being a big place, have enough seats for all the people that come here. air conditioning is always turned on here. i felt a little cold sitting right beside the AC, but perhaps that is just me because my friends were quite okay with it. now, lastly, the food. most of the food items here were quite good. the buffet that we chose was in the evening time and thus, dinner. there were vegetarian pizzas, rice items like polao and biriyani, chicken sizzlings and stir-fried chicken, wonton, calamari curry, octopus, live dosa, live fish and what not. all of these that we tried were really good, actually. however, the orange/mango drink they serve is not that great. it tastes like ispi pani or tang. and the other thing that i disliked was their sushi. i love sushi, i have tried them on a handful of restaurants, but none of them tasted like this. rio lounge's sushi were small, sticky, cold, and mostly tasteless. even when you add the soya sauce, it makes no difference. you can see the sushi photos i provided. i would not recommend having sushi there.

I visited on Friday, unfortunately all tables were reserved. Then I revisited the next day and the Captain there served our table. Sufficient choices for me to choose, a lot of local and Asian Chinese food to choose. I wish they have more seafood dishes without chili hot. Meats, prawns, crabs are plenty. Also, their desserts are very good too.

Their food menu is not up to the mark. Don't try the desserts. Cakes are very bad. And never try the sweet. It's a total waste. Maybe it's made of just sugar and flour. They don't have AC. We had power cut the whole time. They even don't have fans for us. It was too hot. Also the restroom does not have any light at all! How ridiculous! Strongly recommend to AVOID!

Lunch at TK 1150 with near to 100 items. It located near to Dhaka Gulshan - 2 circle on 7th floor of Pink City shopping Comlex. The interior of Rio Lounge is good. Service is also good. But food taste not upto the mark. Only kacchi Birani, Beaf, Dosa taste is take 9 out of 10. Pasty items are totally disappointing. I suggested to Rio Lounge focus on quality and taste of items not on numbers of items. One good things in Rio Lounge is that for kids play zone.
