Went there last Friday to have the Mexican buffet. It was average at best. The options were very less. In the live station only nachos were available. They were out of stock for fajitas and tacos. I went there earlier to have the buffet brunch. It was much better back then. The food was below average. The desserts were above average. My expectation was much higher from them for my previous experience. The place seemed congested. They should look into the food quality. I will not recommend this place in future if the standard of the food doesn't improve.

Unexpectedly bad experience. Never thought their Buffet foods would be this much tasteless. Enjoyed hardly any item. BDT 6600 dinner buffet for 3 people. Waste of money in my opinion. I would recommend to try other buffet places in that expensive range. Only good thing is the service and the place. Ambience was great.

Went there for a buffet dinner. The reservation was kinda messed up. First they confirmed then they cancelled and finally they arranged some more seats. The main course was good. The lamb roast was dry. Sushi was really good and the lamb shanks were delicious. The dessert section was okay but could've been better. The buffet was average compared to the price point they were offering. And had to buy extra drinks because only a bottle of water was included.

Went for the brunch buffet at doren. With reservations we got good seating, On arrival we were greeted with warm welcome and an amazing aroma of food. Coming to the food I would say the best would be the dessert and some off beat item such as beef tenderlion and fish. Common buffet item such as briyanni and Indian subcontinent food was just average. For fruit yellow watermelon was unexpected wish everyone would able to taste honey watermelon once in their life. Was the food good.. Yes Was it expensive... Yes Would I come again.... Maybe not as with the price point offered, there are better buffet with more variates out there.

Good hotel. We went for our official program. We reserved the ball room and get the food arrangement from them. It was pretty good but not the best, even though the food menu was expensive they don't offer the cold drink with the menu. There is also a roof top swimming pool.

Good hotel in the heart of Gulshan. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are very clean and it's a very nice view from the window. And by the way, it's decent noise insulation, so though you are in the center of Dhaka but you can sleep well. Also you have a choice of restaurants and small pool on the roof. Water in the pool is clean, but they really need to wash the windows on the roof. I think it's a nice hotel for this price.

Thai and Chinese food festival was going on when I went. The food was very ordinary. The taste was definitely not authentic Thai or Chinese, except a few appetizers. There was fly flying around the desserts; so didn't take anything from there. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. I went to this same restaurant almost a year back. That time also the quality of food wasn't that good either. I guess not a place where I want to go and hope that the third time will be different.

It's a very convenient hotel, if you have all your meetings in Gulshan, Banani, Mohakhali, Baridhara, Tejgaon etc area. It's enough for a business purposes hotel. Still improving. But now it has been taken over by Crown chain and the service has deteriorated.

The hotel Doreen is situated at the center of the Gulshan 2 circle, a prime location in Dhaka. It is a popular hotel for their room and services. They also have a restaurant, but i am not so sure about their foods or the buffet. Its exterior design is nice.

Here's the thing- if you are claiming to be providing 5-star service and charging high price in return, we as customers expect 5-star service in return as well. We went to avail their international buffet offer at their Flair Restaurant. The usual price is BDT 4,500 net per perpson (BOGO available); but since we went on the Black Friday deal, the discounted price was BDT 2,100 per person (No BOGO). So far so good. But the experience didn't get much better after that. The overall taste of the food left a lot to be desired. Some of the dessert items, sushi, mutton biryani, lamb shank, beef steak were pretty good, though. And oh, how could I forget the cheese board? Oh wait, there was no cheese board! And that was just a glimpse of their unethical business practice. The video they have on their Facebook page of the buffet features items such as lamb stew, seafood paella, lasagna, chicken casserole, roasted potatoes, cannoli, chocolate balls, custard, and the aforementioned cheese board. But well, none of those (as well as a few others) were present, and worse yet, their weren't even any substitutes for those. And the price of soft drinks was 315++ and mineral water was 96++. I mean come on, we are already paying hefty amount for the buffet; you could at least be a little ethical and charge reasonably for drinks. They know we would need some sort of drink to go with our food, and they are shamelessly taking full advantage by charging such exorbitant margins. Ridiculously unbelievable! Also, when I called for reservation I had asked if they were going to provide any drinks, to which they replied there were not going to be soft drinks or water in the buffet package, but there would be juice. And guess what? Yes, there were no juice on offer. All in all, a rather disappointing experience at Doreen. You cannot degrade your service just because you are providing a discounted offer. That is just a blatantly unethical business practice, and something that would not encourage customers to return to your restaurant. I certainly wouldn't want to pay a dime again for such service. The servers were good, and the 2nd star is only for them.

Rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you need.. Staff is superfriendly and very service oriented. Location in the heart of Gulshan-1 is convenient from a business point of view but sitting on a busy roundabout means a rather noisy environment with plenty of honking cars around the clock. Even on the highest floors the noise is ever-present, a room on the backside may be slightly less exposed. Airport pickup from the hotel was fast and smooth. I stayed here for 2 days, in the deluxe room. The view from the room was amazing. You can see the Dhaka airport from here. All the planes landing and taking off. And the night view was even better. If you’re an avgeek you’ll love it. Overall, room experience was good. One small thing is, there were no sofa in the room. The poolside was cozy with a small swimming pool. It’s on 26th floor. The view from the pool was superb. Sitting arrangement was comfortable. There weren’t much people when I was there. I liked it. They even served me mocktail and finger food beside the pool. Loved this gesture. Food was AMAZING! This should be the USP of the hotel. I has their brunch 2 times (didn’t take any breakfast). The slow cooked chicken was out of the world. All the dishes were tasty. They’ve some fantastic dessert. You’ll live it. In room dining service was also good. Had coffee at late night and one indian meal. I’m satisfied. If you take your car, you’d have to park it on the roads outside the hotel under the sky. That was the only downside for me. However they’ve dedicated security guards, so safety shouldn’t be a concern. Overall experience was excellent.

I only was here for the restaurant in 24th floor. Decent buffet. They have a great view at 27th floor (marked as M in the lift) which has a rooftop swimming pool cum smoking zone. Ain't bad!

Their staffs behaviour is good. Also, the hotels restaurants area and how they present their food looks awesome. From the restaurant, you can see the gulshan area which looks so beautiful. I went there at night and it looked superb. They have variety items on food. I went to meat fest and I mainly tried their steaks which was superb but other food taste was not best but quite good.
