Here's
the
thing-
if
you
are
claiming
to
be
providing
5-star
service
and
charging
high
price
in
return,
we
as
customers
expect
5-star
service
in
return
as
well.
We
went
to
avail
their
international
buffet
offer
at
their
Flair
Restaurant.
The
usual
price
is
BDT
4,500
net
per
perpson
(BOGO
available);
but
since
we
went
on
the
Black
Friday
deal,
the
discounted
price
was
BDT
2,100
per
person
(No
BOGO).
So
far
so
good.
But
the
experience
didn't
get
much
better
after
that.
The
overall
taste
of
the
food
left
a
lot
to
be
desired.
Some
of
the
dessert
items,
sushi,
mutton
biryani,
lamb
shank,
beef
steak
were
pretty
good,
though.
And
oh,
how
could
I
forget
the
cheese
board?
Oh
wait,
there
was
no
cheese
board!
And
that
was
just
a
glimpse
of
their
unethical
business
practice.
The
video
they
have
on
their
Facebook
page
of
the
buffet
features
items
such
as
lamb
stew,
seafood
paella,
lasagna,
chicken
casserole,
roasted
potatoes,
cannoli,
chocolate
balls,
custard,
and
the
aforementioned
cheese
board.
But
well,
none
of
those
(as
well
as
a
few
others)
were
present,
and
worse
yet,
their
weren't
even
any
substitutes
for
those.
And
the
price
of
soft
drinks
was
315++
and
mineral
water
was
96++.
I
mean
come
on,
we
are
already
paying
hefty
amount
for
the
buffet;
you
could
at
least
be
a
little
ethical
and
charge
reasonably
for
drinks.
They
know
we
would
need
some
sort
of
drink
to
go
with
our
food,
and
they
are
shamelessly
taking
full
advantage
by
charging
such
exorbitant
margins.
Ridiculously
unbelievable!
Also,
when
I
called
for
reservation
I
had
asked
if
they
were
going
to
provide
any
drinks,
to
which
they
replied
there
were
not
going
to
be
soft
drinks
or
water
in
the
buffet
package,
but
there
would
be
juice.
And
guess
what?
Yes,
there
were
no
juice
on
offer.
All
in
all,
a
rather
disappointing
experience
at
Doreen.
You
cannot
degrade
your
service
just
because
you
are
providing
a
discounted
offer.
That
is
just
a
blatantly
unethical
business
practice,
and
something
that
would
not
encourage
customers
to
return
to
your
restaurant.
I
certainly
wouldn't
want
to
pay
a
dime
again
for
such
service.
The
servers
were
good,
and
the
2nd
star
is
only
for
them.
