Beautiful, clean modern rooms, friendly and hardworking staff, fun activities, and gorgeous scenery. There is the choice of swimming in the Aegean Sea or in one of several fantastic pools. An all-inclusive resort providing endless delicious food and drink, even alcohol, all day long throughout this beautifully designed hotel. Family friendly with ample seating poolside, on the beach and in cabanas over the water. Just heavenly. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Thank you Laur for a great vacation.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Laur Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are some of the negative aspects that stood out during my stay: 1. The staff's lack of politeness was quite noticeable. It felt as though they were disinterested in providing service and actively avoided any interaction. This significantly impacted the overall welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. 2. One of the most disappointing aspects was the additional charge of 50€ to access the Infinity pool. This fee should have been included in the all-inclusive package, as advertised. Having to pay extra for a basic amenity felt unfair and contrary to the concept of all-inclusive. 3. I was surprised to find that all sunbeds were reserved as early as 6 a.m., despite the supposed 2-hour no return policy. The lack of enforcement by the staff created a sense of unfairness, as many guests were unable to enjoy the poolside experience. 4. The rooms left much to be desired. The air conditioning was subpar, and the lack of replenishing drinks in the fridge was disappointing. This made the stay uncomfortable, especially during the warmer days. 5. The bartenders' reluctance to serve European alcohol, which was part of the all-inclusive alcohol selection, was frustrating. This kind of inconsistency detracts from the value of the all-inclusive package and leaves guests feeling unsatisfied. 6. Another notable incident was the unexpected closure of the swimming pool on a Monday at 3 p.m., without any explanation provided. This lack of communication and consideration for guests' plans was highly disappointing. 7. While the buffet at Laur Hotel offered a satisfying culinary experience, my expectations were unfortunately not met when I dined at the à la carte Italian restaurant. The food there was far from what one would anticipate from a restaurant setting. The taste and overall experience were disappointing, and it fell short of providing the quality that one would associate with a restaurant meal. Given the choice, I would have preferred to stick with the buffet for a more enjoyable dining experience. Overall, my stay at Laur Hotel was marred by these negative experiences. The issues with staff behaviour, hidden charges, inconsistent policies, room conditions, and unexpected closures seriously impacted the quality of my stay. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes steps to improve the guest experience in the future.

Fabulous stay at this great hotel. The rooms are large and kept clean and well stocked. The staff throughout the resort are brilliant and friendly. Their English may not be the best, but then my Turkish isn't the best. Didn't have any problems communicating, and manners cost nothing in any culture. The grounds and outside are kept perfectly clean and tidy. Security is great. The hotel is in a great position for trips to other beaches and town. There are various restaurants and bars, loved the bar on the beach. The beach is lovely and again kept very clean. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Searching for a holiday & reading review after review I saw this hotel on Travel Zoo & the 1st 5 reviews were all 5* so thought it’s got to be good!! Booked 10 days & what a gorgeous hotel, location, facilities- everything you want! The majority of guests are East Europeans so there are hardly any British people there, but didn’t bother us! The rooms are spacious (needed a few things sorted but these were done immediately 😀). The only thing they could do with is a long mirror. Definitely choose sea view when you book. The staff were utterly amazing, nothing was too much trouble & loved speaking to us to practice their English. Olga on Guest Relations was so lovely & so helpful and also the other lady too! Everyone was just so polite, friendly and can’t praise them enough. The food was buffet but what a choice!!! We had 2 x A la carte meals which were lovely. The location, stunning. But you have to pay fir the infinity pool and beds on the pontoon but definitely worth it 🤩. The only thing that puzzled me was that we paid for Ultra All-Inclusive but no-one could explain what the difference was in that & All-inclusive as we didn’t have to wear bands, so just book All-inclusive. Also they should tell you beforehand that you have to pay for the Infinity pool & the beds on the pontoon. Would I go again ……. definitely 🙌🙌🙌🙌

The place is wonderful and the staff namely Damla from Guest Relations is very very helpful. She sorted my husband’s birthday with ease and made it really special for him. We rented a cabana at their Aphrodite Pool for an extra €40 per day and we got our own waiter/waitress and they bring you food and drinks the whole day, we stayed 10am-6pm. The spa is great so a must. We haven’t had the massages but the steam rooms and saunas are free for paid guests to use and Mustafa is very helpful and made sure we knew what facilities are available to us. They have nice pools and there’s a dedicated kids slides and pool. Good variety of food and Lounge Bar is nice with drinks just a little sad none can actually make proper cocktails but just tell the bar attendant if you want sweet or fresh cocktail and they sort it out for you and some comes up really nice. The town is not too far from the hotel either and there’s buses that comes along if you don’t fancy walking 15-20 mins. All in all a great experience.

Not a 5 star hotel by any means. Staff are hit and miss with their service and professionalism. Not greeted on arrival with any water or face towels that you would get from a small 3 star. Not offered time in a bar, just handed a key and taken to our atrocious room. I had my 10 yr old daughter with me and they had not even made up her bed (which was a seriously below standard oull out bed). I saw multiple accidents during our stay. Some lifeguards very poor, even after I reported an issue with a water slide not working, he ignored me and a child went down a dry water slide, burning his back. Other lifeguards were very good, interacting with the children and keeping an eye on things. Some areas of the hotel are lovely and some of the bar staff are great, but will ignore you and serve Turkish guests until you shout at them. AC in the main building is terrible and I was forced to purchase a pillar fan as the hotel could not supply us with one. To be fair to the CR team, after 6 days we were moved to a nice room in the Elegance building with great AC. His was after being moved to another room on day 2 as the first room was terrible. I donated my fan to a family I'm dire need of a good sleep.

I absolutely loved the 9 nights I spent in this hotel. I even tried to extend my stay, but unfortunately, they were fully booked by eid. The food, servic, and locationweres amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The private beach is small, I wish the sunbeds on the beach dock was free.

I recently stayed at the Laur hotel, and I'm sad to say that my experience was far from satisfactory. There were numerous issues that left me extremely disappointed with my stay: 1. **Unpleasant Staff Attitude:** The staff at the Laur hotel seemed disinterested in serving guests. They avoided any interaction and appeared unwilling to assist, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. 2. **Hidden Charges:** Despite opting for an all-inclusive package, I was shocked to find out that access to the Infinity pool required an additional 50€ fee. This charge should have been clearly included in the all-inclusive package. 3. **Unfair Sunbed Policy:** The 6am sunbed reservation policy was poorly managed, and staff failed to enforce the supposed 2-hour no-return policy. This led to frustration among guests who couldn't enjoy the poolside amenities. 4. **Inadequate Room Conditions:** The rooms lacked proper air conditioning, making the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the absence of restocking the fridge with new drinks was a letdown. 5. **Alcohol Restrictions:** Despite the promise of European alcohol being part of the all-inclusive offer, bartenders were reluctant to provide it. This inconsistency in service left a bitter taste. 6. **Pool Closure and Lack of Communication:** The sudden closure of the swimming pool on a Monday afternoon without any explanation was both frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication exacerbated the situation. 7. **Poor Dining Experience:** The Italian à la carte restaurant turned out to be a terrible choice. The food quality was worse than the buffet, completely diverging from authentic Italian cuisine. A waiter named "Muhammet, attached photo" was impolite and even made inappropriate comments, tarnishing the dining experience further. 8. **Language Barrier:** Communication was a significant challenge throughout my stay. The staff's inability to speak English fluently, especially at the reception, led to confusion and frustration. Their reliance on Google Translate was unprofessional and often ineffective. Overall, my time at the Laur hotel was marked by disappointments and frustration. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and multiple inconsistencies severely impacted my stay. I hope the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and makes necessary improvements for future guests.

In a high season, I feel the value is not worth it. The rooms in the new building is good (Experience); in the old one (Elegance) they're quite bad. The AC depends on the electricity card, so it's hot each time you return; and it's a simple split-system. The coridors are not ventilated. The 1 of 2 elevator in our building was broken so there were lines. The room is small and not comfy to me. The demand on the food is high so the best food is depleted before you know. For plates you need to wait. On the bright side, the SPA is good, the Water Park is fun, the beachside is nice, the water is clean.

I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful stay my family and I had at your hotel recently from the moment we checked in. We were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The attention to detail that was evident in every aspect of our stay was truly remarkable. The room was immaculate well appointed and comfortable. All the staff from reception to a certain Guest relation manager Damla was attentive to our needs with her elegance approach with professionalism of solving any issues and guidance. We also appreciated the extra touches such as free mini bar. Your restaurant served up some of the most delicious meals we have ever tasted, and were impressed by the wide range of options available. The breakfast Buffett was particularly impressive with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all expertly prepared as explained by one of your employee Ramzan. If I may suggest few improvement points: 1. Language barrier with less English speaking staff 2. Tagging of prepared dishes in the restaurant. Evident was there but need to tag all dishes for the benefits of customers specially vegetarians. Overall I cannot say enough good things about our stat at your hotel.

Misleading advertisement – this is maximum 1-2 Stars Hotel. Hotel is catering for families, especially with small children. Hotel has extravagant adverts like some luxury gateway, is actually kids broken playground, nothing fancy. Hotel is using pictures, which are deliberately edited, altered into fiction not a reality it's a cartoon you are looking at! Rooms are usually not shown that much in adverts, because that's where your decision not to stay there would be based on. Check In We were a group of 9 including a baby and on arrival was told that the baby cot was not included as they didn't know about it. All my paperwork etc showed a 1yr old baby. They wanted to split us up between buildings but at the time didnt really understand what that meant. The staff at first were friendly but once you left the desk they changed. Rude, aggressive and violent with threatening behaviour! The "Other Building" Nobody will tell you before the booking, but you may get a room in the other building. This is the building behind the actual hotel, fenced and chained with chunky padlocks and guarded by spine chilling thanos sculptures. In the avengers themed building, rooms are minimum 30 years old worn and torn, crying for critical makeover. There is a basement prison gym with rusty equipment artefacts. You won't see a single soul using those facilities, for valid reasons. It looks like a hotel from hell with no amenities. Family Room - The Hazard Room I had a Family Room Sea View room on the 5th floor. It’s not the same sea view like from the hotel, because the building is more inland. It had disturbing splatters on the wall and bed headboard. Wall power plug sockets were broken off the wall and hanging with exposed wires. I was terrified of fire risk. Room was incredibly ancient, broken furniture that was inoperative. Chipped edges, broken sharp handles. Bathroom with the uneven slippery bath decorated in mushy mouldy grout. Dirt everywhere in every possible form. Next day tried to dispute Reception to move us out of this room into the one we have paid for (advertised one), although even that one was not as we expected, or was advertised. Wasted days, waiting on my fully packed suitcases. We were swapped to Standard Sea View room (too small for four people), but that was the only option out of the other building. Nothing else was ever offered, no apologies, not even a smile. We called our apparent holiday rep 'Charlie', which i will explain below. Hotel - Building with the Reception Grounds look beautiful from far, when blended with the nature and stunning views. However, when you look closer there is concerning matter of safety and hygiene. Destroyed objects everywhere. Broken glass, broken windows in the lift or dinner, cracked tiles on the floor, broken air con. Dirty bathrooms all round, the closer to the beach the worse it gets. Children facilities full of dangerous defects. Water slide cut my both children legs. Holes in tiles that can chop little baby leg. Big slides looked exciting, however they definitely need repairs, many visible defects, shaking, leaks, paint chipping off.

The best place to go with your family and friends. The resort is amazing, everything you need, everything you want. Luxury hotel, with a great architecture. The hotel services are brilliant, it is clean and looked after. The food variety it's amazing, everything for everyone's taste. Great bar service and excellent quality entertainment. Loads of daily routine activities, such as yoga - pilates, aqua gym, archery, volley beach, mini fotbal, etc. Great selection of shows every night in the anfitheater. Nice variety of shops in the resort too. We highly recommend it and we definitely will be going again. Thanks for having us there, thank you very much for all your services.

Loved the hotel and location. Views are beautiful food is lots and varied down sides we found if you are foreign to Turkey you are made to weight at the bars for service quite often but we did find some excellent staff in the indoor bar who were quick to serve polite and well mannered but sadly hardly anyone spoke much English. Like to give a shout out to Kamal my brother lol this guy was on another level for everything. Service was impeccable always wanting to help and makes sure you're happy couldn't do enough for us my young daughter loved him. On the whole very good holiday few problems here and there like put in wrong room for first night but our rep sorted this for us not enough English speaking. There is plenty of pools I think 4 but one is charged daily and is very expensive. Private beach lots of sunbeds but be warned get up early to reserve and I'm not joking people take 3 or 4 at a time. Amusement park not far from hotel and then the town is about 15 mins walk but try not to go daytime as it's very hot most go nightime it is really rely busy so keep little ones close but prices are pretty good to buy things. Oh and if your flying from bodrum airport to fly home make sure you have enough money because it is very very expensive like 52 pounds for 3 burgers and drinks expensive. Me personally despite a few problems can't wait to go back....happy holidays to you

We are just about to leave here sadly. We have had a first class experience from the moment we were greeted on arrival at 2am , food, pools, restaurants, beech, entertainment but above all the staff are so warm ,friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back as they are constantly improving facilities here.

It is a big Nooo. - Too many people for this infrastructure. - Staff can not handle so much work. Not cleaning tables. - When it is time for food you can not find table so u have to scout for 10mins - Tables are left uncleand. - Food itself is.. fine. Not big choice. - Pools are overcrowded or paied extra(40-50euro per day in ultraall inclusive) - night programme.. There is no room for everyone in the ampetheatre, so hard to say as we didn't manged to see any. - bars- normal beverages for such places but very long lines. - in general very long lines for everything. You literally wait for ever even for a single cup of water. Or even just an empty cup if you want to pour juice by yourself. - it is a KIDs hotel. Children everywhere, screaming, pushing, running, shouting. - people tend to "book" sunbeds from early in the morning. Just trowing a bunch of clothes so it stays occupied and leaves it as it whole day. We had to walk around all places to find a free spot (we are only 2). Of course there is always the option to pay 50euro per day for VIP place. - main restaurant - bad interior, which makes you walk up and down, because there is no logic in food order and very long gaps between food desks. I burn more then I can eat :D - Sunbeds are... Disgusting.Check pictures. - Water in pool is not very clear. A bit blurry - forget about peace and quite with so many children - if you need support from staff just ..wait(i.e. need a glass, utencils, chair etc). Much easier to just go and take it yourself from the service desks in the kitchen. This place is far from 5*. They just me mimic what is needed for such a place.

I went last weekend and I liked it. All the workers are very kind. Rooms are clean. The location is perfect for view and for being close to the sea. Therefore, I was surprised that the hotel has a low google maps rate. I can recommend it to everyone.

Don't recommend this hotel. Let's start with that even the reception don't speak English which is frustrating due to the fact that you cannot get assistance not understanding. For 5star hotel they have staff mainly youngers and none speaking English! Definitely will not return. The renovated part of the hotel is not actually renovated- rooms were old, bed not comfortable, no bottle water, our terrace door couldn't be closed, bath leaking. Staff didn't clean regularly and even when we requested it 3times-there was delay (also they just throw the trash bin and didn't actually clean the room). Almost all of the staff at the lobby were grumpy as I was making them do a lot of work by making a coffee Restaurants and all tables were always dirty! There was 1-2 napkins on the table hence every time you need additional one you have to search for a waiter(if available). A lot of people and quite noisy. The beach and sea is good and the private platforms are great (I don't recommend the main beach area as it's too full and there's no space between the people). Food was okay during dinner but it was the same every day ( breakfast and lunch are quite poor). The location of the hotel is good- 15min from center and as it's on a main street there're a lot of buses. Near the hotel there's a nice Lunapark.

Nice hotel for the price, rooms were a bit outdated and blankets were not sufficient. Staff were nice, food had enough options to be tasty. Location was good, beach and facilities left nothing to be desired.

Just returned from a week here as a group of 4 friends. Overall we had a great holiday and would return but here is a quick survival guide to Laur Hotel Didum and some suggestions to management to improve.. Good Stuff: Room is stylish, spacious and clean Bed is comfy Grounds are beautiful and kept very clean Lots of zones to choose from 10:30 stretch class was lovely for all ages Crystal clear waters of the beach are beautiful Food was good quality Bad: Only Damla at guest relations and Charlie speak good English, do not expect anybody else to understand your requests, this was VERY frustrating at mealtimes when basic drinks orders became a hilarious game of pot luck beverage arrivals. We had to fend for ourselves a lot throughout the holiday because of the language barrier. Internet on TV very spotty Alcoholic drinks generally poor quality Music is played all times Cleaning staff were noisy and regularly entered rooms despite the “do not disturb” sign. They often forgot to replenish towels, cups and toilet roll so we had to raid the carts ourselves. Staff hover as you eat and clearing your plate the minute you finish your mouthful. This may be a cultural thing but generally people do not like to be rushed as they eat. We felt quite uncomfortable. The spa stinks of mildew and has next to no health and safety but the Sauna&steam room were good and we enjoyed a great scrub/soap/massage from Cinta & Nuriye. Mustafa the spa salesman is very intense and talks incessantly, be prepared for him to hunt you down as you sunbathe and try to sell more spa treatments to you throughout the week. Top tip: Haggle Mustafa down for the price of your massage, we got 50% off Throughout the hotel the coffee is cheap rubbish. If you want better, bring your own. At the bar order champagne with a drizzle of peach liquer; gorgeous! The Pirate boat trip from Didum is cheesy but £18 well spent (lunch included!) and a must for anyone who wants to snorkel/swim in crystal clear turquoise waters Suggestions to hotel management: Please set up tea and coffee stations n the dining hall where guests can help themselves. Having to hunt down tea, coffee and water repeatedly every single mealtime was a nightmare. The system in place is so inefficient. staff rarely got our orders right, when they could be bothered to come our way at all with the coffee cart. One morning we asked (via google translate) for a whole pot of coffee for our table and the staff member had to go and ask management for permission (which was a no!) unbelievable! Gaining breakfast tea and coffee should be simple. Also a bottle of water on each table would be great. Have a snack bar with light snacks instead of the small, formal meals served as “snacks” Encourage staff to learn basic English and learn to smile Have milk in rooms along with tea/coffee sachets, it was tiring continually taking milk up to the room Have one simple Information Pack in the room - instead us having to figure everything out by ourselves. There was confusion over who to contact for what, and the language barrier made everything so difficult. For example nobody explained what “Guest Relations” was to us. Nobody at reception spoke English. Nobody could give us basic information about local ATMs, shops, taxis, buses.

It was an amazing all inclusive 5 star holiday package. All staff were very helpful and quickly respond to any issue and there are few people to mention here (Ezgi, ilayda, Danly and Adney). Food were delicious and provides different cuisines to suit everybody. Location is excellent and I am sure to use it again in the future.

Nice hotel and wonderful selection of food. Special thanks go to Damla, Charlie and the pretty young lady who served drinks in the reception bar in the morning who had a great smile ! I highly recommend the place.

Amazing hotel experience loved the location and the views, the slides the choices of pools! Plenty of food to choose from and staff were so friendly and chatty! Rooms were a tad out of date but you don’t really spend a lot of time in the rooms and they were cleaned thoroughly whenever needed

Great place. Appropriate service and staff, plenty of food and drinks. Clean rooms. Has a beach, a little one, but nice. Also has 2 outside pools. It's close to downtown, 15-20 mins on foot or 5 with a bus. It is worthy to go there.

We have been here twice now and we love the animation team, Hera was brilliant with my daughter and nieces. They loved the kids shows, she was always high energy and the kids club was great. The rooms in the hotel of elegance could do with its own bar as have to travel for the drinks and food.

very nice hotel, room with sea view, spacious, clean, housekeeping done every day, good bedding. beautiful swimming pool and slide, beautiful beach and pontoons, several restaurants meals vary, wide choice in everything, local specialty, bread and pastries baked on site. three themed restaurants all accessible to people with reduced mobility but (it’s always an ugly but) the staff has difficulty with English not seeing very few explanations when you arrived no animations display panel little animation Bar staff not friendly, don't know any cocktail names rejects you if they don't understand in restaurants lack of hygiene on the tables. the staff clears up quickly but does not clean the tables so we eat on a dirty table full of traces of the meal before atif breakfast (before 5 a.m.) with nothing... no bread, croissant, biscuit, cornflakes, milk my rating would be 4 stars
