It is a wonderful experience to stay in thus resort surrounded by lush greenery while not being very far away from the city. We planned a stay for 2 days and thanks to Mr Vishnu as he had catered to our special requirements of early checkin. The rooms reserved were very spacious neat and clean and very close to the play area where the kids really enjoyed. We also arranged our daughter's birthday party and thanks to Mr Sam for his assistance as it was a success and beautiful experience. Just a small improvement in the breakfast buffet would make this resort perfect. All in all it is a place worthy of visit if one needs to spend quality time with friends and family in the backdrop of luxury.

A resort that ranks among the best in Guwahati. The space is vast. You are welcome to bring friends or relatives. I didn't stay there, thus I have no knowledge of the rooms and related service. However, the resort is stunning. A bar and a sizable smoking area are also present. You have complete freedom to move about the resort. You must go there if you are photogenic. You may take pictures of this location from every angle. Additionally, the food tastes okay, and the prices are a touch high, but they are tolerable given how well-maintained the establishment is. My pals and I had a great time together. Additionally, you can reserve the resort for any event, like a wedding or birthday celebration or any other event. So I would suggest to have a visit there. And the resort has a parking area too. You can park your vehicle without any worry.

One of the best resorts I visited till now. Perfect example of a good and clean resort like this is tough to find here. Sufficient space is there for playing and functions. Halls are attractive and neat. Spent a memorable day here that was our Farewell of class 10 2021-22 batch.

I ordered tea and mushroom soup, quite a bit on the luxury side for sure. The waitress didn't even know what is ginger bread, which we had to explain. They gave a sidey butter slice. The spoon was way to heavier than the ceramic bowl where the soup was served. And jumbo tea inside cold coffee glasses! Where did our intricate and royal Assamese cup-plate sets go? Kill me somebody. 🤒🤕😵‍💫🤐🤥 🤯 Total mismatch of cutlery! Soup taste was good no wonder, but somehow the mushroom formation with foam shouldn't have been done. Instead you could have used cream, don't you think so? I have rated your resort only based upon the beautiful location amidst the hill and the refreshing lush greenery. The cake section was stale, being a sweet tooth thought of picking up few cakes but I spotted ants and dead insects inside few wrapped items. Over and above, nothing outstanding to impress me much. Do we really have to order the entire menu to check the quality of your food? Just a thought for food.

A huge spacious resort within the radar of Guwahati. Great place to chill with friends and family. Clean and peaceful place away from city's hustle and bustle. Food is quite tasty. Overall a beautiful place one should definitely visit.

We had a family event here, the place has really huge area inside. The food is good along with service. This place is really family oriented. Compared to other Dhabas you will find people sitting and drinking alcohol in open area, but same is not allowed here. I will say best place for family outing. The children will have facilities to play around and enjoy. Over all a good place to hangout with family and dates. Very relaxing and food is great. Not that budget friendly I would say but overall a great place to enjoy along side nature

A relaxing experience and respite from the scorching heat. Greenwood Resort was indeed very green. The food was good and hygienic. Prices were on the reasonable side. Must try- black currant ice cream, which is sold at the eatery just near the entrance to the resort. The ice cream tasted superb. Prices, however, were on the higher side.

The location of the resort is very ergonomic with the kind of ambiance it offers. It gives the feel of closeness to nature without being too far from the city. The premium rooms are literally huge. Coming to the food and decor as we recently organised a family wedding there, the preparations were on top. The decor was exactly as displayed by the vendor and the aesthetics set were pleasing. The chef onboard was the biggest liner of our event as he was personally involved beforehand during all the dining events. He took time out to make us go through every dish to be served in our overall 3 dining events. The food was actually very tasty and must I say, well recommend at every event. Looking forward to more associations with the resort in future. Cons: Bit pricey but the ambiance covers for it. Considering size of the property, more buggy are required to meet the demand for elderly people. Overall a good experience. Would recommend for special occasions to make it memorable.

Wonderful resort itself is decent but on the other end of the town. I will be visiting with my family and frnds again when I am in that destination.. Cabs are temperamental. Book a full time cab for yourself. Food is good and the property itself is good for families and friends - a quiet green place which is definitely the selling point.

I visit this place very often and it is an awesome place to be with family. Kids playing area is also good. Restaurant is very good, they take care of taste, hygiene and also provide great ambiance. View in around the resort are also good.

Visited this place after 2 years... The food quality has definitely gone way down... Everything we ordered was pathetic and could not finish any dish we ordered. No longer the same food quality they used to maintain. For food definitely avoid this place now. gave my feedback to the staff did not seem they cared

A different experience!!! Would suggest to pay more attention on the crowd enjoying their dinner in the open garden restaurant. Up keeping of the place was good but a cat was irritating constantly which was spoiling the dinner experience.

Beautiful resort in the outskirts of the city of Guwahati. The place is captivating with few cottages and lovely dining areas. There is a swimming pool. The resort also comes with a lawn for parties. Ambience is good. Loved this place. It's very green. Service is really good. Food is good. Rooms are big and aren't too expensive. Provides almost everything that a five star property otherwise would. Great experience overall. Wish to visit again.

This was a nice get away for a family lunch. Although they do not accept advance booking and we had an hr waiting before they got us a table. It has a huge lawn and nice surroundings to take a walk in pleasant weather to kill time. The menu is expensive but the food quality could be better.

The room facilities were good However, the half litre drinking water bottle, kept in the room was too insufficient for a day's stay. When ordered additional bottle, charging more than rs 50 per bottle is preposterous. The food served in the restaurant for dinner was served cold, served cold even after request for heating it. The morning breakfast was equally bad, without much of variety, service substandard. There is much scope for improvement. Hope the management would take care

Nice and posh resort at the outskirts of city. Location is really good for quick weekend getaways. And it hosts regular events and festivals so if you're into that, you're in for a treat. Although, price is way steep, which is also kind of expected from a resort. I'd suggest you have a couple of drinks outside before going, it'll save you a lot of money. Crowd is usually young and vibrant with exceptions, ofcourse

A bit outside Guwahati but one of the best resorts I've stayed in. The food was great. The ambiance was also great and it was very relaxing. Sadly they had a pool but they didn't treat the pool water so i was unable to swim in the pool, I felt a bit disappointed but leaving aside that drinking cocktails in the open cafe situated right beside the pool felt great. Overall if you're looking to stay in Guwahati for 1-2 nights you can book this resort the price is worth it.

This resort has been the USP of my sister-in-law’s wedding. Everyone has been talking about the scenic location and the food served in the wedding. It was amazing and especially the food is really applauded by everyone. The early morning takeaway for the guests was awesome and that too to be made available at the early hours has made everyone happy. Hearty thanks to Chef Suresh.

Rooms are cozy with nice flooring but the food is not upto the mark.breakfast has no variety and do not comply to some simple requests like making an omelette.

My experience was not good. This hotel is focussed on marriage functions or conferences they have taken. Staff do not provide proper service to guests who are staying there. We stayed for 2 days. First day when we went to have breakfast there were 200 people having breakfast in dining area which was like langar going on with only 4 items. Second day when we were checking out they took 50 mins to get our luggage from our room. All staff was busy with marriage function. Service was below, below par. Property was good, rooms were average but service was abysmal.

A great setting in the best location the city can provide. Service with a smile was the highlight. Ample parking space available.

Attended a wedding reception. The lawns were pretty well decked up. Food was average, but that may well be due to the caterer, not the resort's call. Location is outskirts of the city, but a large sprawling campus is the bright spot.

A great place to unwind with family and friends. I am elated with the fact that the management arranged for pork for me on special request on the particular day when availability was an issue. However it is requested to the service executives to be vigilant during entering the bill amount in the PoS machine, one zero extra typed and debited is enough to create trouble for the customer as well as the management.

I didn't stay but went for a casual outing with my team. Food can be made better and service definitely needs to be improved. It is difficult to control animal behaviour and hence I didn't like two cats inside the bar.

Visited for dinner with friends. Very nice place with ample car parking space. Very secured. They have both restaurant and Bar facilities separately. Prices are slightly on the higher side. Tasty food and service is prompt. Nice decor and ambience is cool.

Beautiful place , environment is good , very large in area but only i disappointed with the food that ordered. Not upto the mark in taste of Assamese Ethnic food. Asked one staff even he has no answer on it. It might be my mistake that i expected a good Assamese ethnic food over there.

It was a batch reunion, but since a wedding was going on so the kids couldn't roam around the lawn area. Food has improved a lot and some new add on sit outs/cafes are beautiful. Ample parking space is also there. Not a bad place to visit but just keep in mind if some other events are happening there then it is better to reserve a different property as it becomes too noisy to enjoy.

It's a huge place. Used to be more rustic and outdoors kinda vibe. But nowadays it's a place to hold weddings and events. Can hold 2-3 weddings at one time. Parking area is also big. Went there twice in a week. Once for a wedding and otherwise for a concert. There's also a swimming pool here. And cottages too, although I doubt if anyone uses them as much

The stuff members are really great as well as their behaviour was really good.great ambience . Super hygenic best place if you like natural places . We ordered a. Mexican pizza that was really great but I didn’t like their sandwich but overall the place is great. Super huge . Really loved the resort. Great service . Their bathrooms are also super large they also provide lotion in the bathroom

Beautifully maintained, this resort is one of the oldest resorts in the town. Food was good but the price is expensive compared to the quantity. The staff were polite, well mannered.

The resort has no entry fee which is the best part for any visitor. The surroundings are very beautiful and full of greenary. The restaurant inside is also spacious and has good quality menu. But the cost of the food is on the higher side like 300- 400 for one plate paneer/ chicken. Staffs are okay. Washrooms are very hygienic. Overall nice experience to be here.

Went for an official get together, the arrangement was good , polite staffs, hall capacity were good. Washroom were clean. But the food was not up to the mark. It did seem lacking on the food part. They should really improve in it

Food: 5/5 Property: 5/5 Service: 3/5 The stay was good, the property is amazing! Just one problem is their bathrooms, in almost all the bathrooms when you shower the wanted comes out, there was water flooded in our bathroom! This is something they need to work on! Besides that a pleasent stay!

Place needs more maintenance to keep the "green" glowing & lively. It's good, but the green was not glowing-green, probably needs more water in this dry season. 5 star rating for the premises. Food was NOT upto expectations. Most of the items ordered at 2pm of a Sunday were out of stock. Whatever they prepared was not so well. So reducing 2 stars.

I visited Greenwood Resort for a lunch party with my colleagues. I liked the ambience very much. Good for giving a good treat to parents/ families. Every thing looks super organised.
