Highly overpriced for the service and the state of their infrastructure. If you misplace the RFID keycard, be ready to pay Rs. 1000 extra. Even ITC Grand Maratha did not charge us a dime extra for those key cards. When I tried to explain this to the Management (Mr. Nayak), it fell on deaf ears. Zero customer satisfaction. I will not speak about the business we generated for them on the past one week. P.s. One elevator is also out of order.

Visited during lunch hours with Family. Service was Pathetic!! A line dhaba will give a better service than this. Starting from the entrance of the gate we had a horrible experience. Had to wait so much just for parking, the guard was so dumb and manner less. We had no option but to blast him since we have a child along. Went up to the restaurant and it was empty and thought of having food since we were all hungry. Menu was served to us however, almost all items were not available. We were very disappointed and left the place without hesitation even though we were hungry. Menu shouldn't be there if items mentioned on the menu is not available. Its no point giving a customer your menu if you dont have almost all items. Faces of the employees look so dull, lazy and unfresh. Like i mentioned earlier a LINE DHABA ON THE HIGHWAY WILL GIVE 100 TIMES BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS!!!!

If there’s a superlative degree to worst, I wll call it that. I had seen bad reviews but my travel agent made me stay here. Dirty rooms, dirty linens. No staff responds even if u call 100 times. V arrogant behaviour Horrible taste, stale breakfast, Ultra costly but unhygienic food cornflakes was smellly, didnt bother to rectify, we were in May. Didnt notice any crowd. Hardly one other family was there. And location is a big NO

Worst experience ever for a tourist.. We had requested for extended breakfast service... The lack of respect and conscious spite towards us when we asked the manager regarding this was astounding..never in our life have we experienced such treatment towards another human..regardless of hotel policy, a simple act to be kind and try to solve consumer's problem should be normal human behaviour...the most disrespectful and unhumane thing is a randan employee tried to hit us during a heated conversation... definitely DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL

Great place, great room. HK needs to work a little more in putting proper mini bar, as i git only few items but the items mentioned was plenty. The night receptionist boy was very very helpful i forgot his name (would have really loved to mention his name)but he helped us understanding we were checking in at around 4 am as we couldn't find other hotels he helped us with rates and was very friendly and helpful. The food prices were on the higher side. Overall Great place to stay...

That journey was a marriage party invitations.we hole family members enjoyed that event very nicely and was so surprised because of so trusty preparation of every cook items.

Horrible.... they r possibly biggest cheat I've come across in hotel industry. They misguide travelers visiting Assam by receiving booking through numerous websites. I made a booking ( total payment done) for 3 days though CLEARTRIP dot COM, and when my guest arrived at the hotel the reception shows ignorance about the booking made and said they have no avail rooms. After taking full payment they refused, siting they are sold-out. What a cheat. My suggestion, never book at HOTEL SHOOLIN GRAND.

Third class experience , pathetic experience completely hopeless. We wanted to go to Kalita Spectrum they misguided us and sent us to Shoolin Grand. Then they gave us a rusted spoon and when we said about it they started arguing .We came home empty stomach and totally disgusted and disatisfied. Ruined our entire day.

Hotel is luxury but very overpriced. Keeping in view the rooms, food buffet, and other amenities the price is not at all justified. Five star hotel like Novatel are more value to money. Rooms are good but cigarette smell in the lobby. Less variety of food in breakfast buffet. Resturant ambience is good.

This Hotel is right in GS Road, it is about a one minute walk from the main gate.. had a wonderful experience at the (SG). Excellent property and very convenient. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Rooms were clean, 24x7 hot water available, food was tasty - ask Hotel SG staff for their specialties. Will recommend to my friends. The Manager of Hotel SG was so humble and staffs are also very nice. The overall ambience is Royal and homely as well.

The stay was fine. Breakfast was sumptuous. But Room service was slow and food was not as good compared to the cost. Staff were pleasant and well behaved and courteous.

If you want to have a panoramic view of the Sixmile, Beltola area, this is the rooftop restaurant is where from you can catch such a view. Food was great, staff are polite, ambience is also great. But, if you like to dine in a brightly lit ambience, you may feel uncomfortable to dine here as it is just adequately lit. Had a pleasant dinning experience over-all. Fully recommended for group parties.

Stay was good, room 707 was specious and fabulous..service was also good,but food quality and resturant ( on 6th floor)service was not at all upto the mark.

I don't even know where to begin with this hotel. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Our experience with this place was nothing short of a disaster, from the moment we walked in. We had meticulously planned our engagement party at this hotel, going through all the details with the staff and even confirming the reservation in advance. However, when the big day finally was about to arrive, we were met with a nightmarish scenario that left us utterly devastated. First, the hotel shamelessly defrauded us by promising to provide a spacious hall for our engagement party. We had envisioned a beautiful, elegant celebration, and we specifically booked this place for the hall. To our shock and dismay, the manager nonchalantly informed us that the hall was suddenly unavailable, even though we had it reserved months in advance. This was a blatant breach of trust, and it felt like they couldn't care less about their customers' happiness. To add insult to injury, the manager then had the audacity to propose a much higher price for the food, a price that was clearly an attempt to take advantage of our desperate situation. It was a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and it left us feeling like we were being held hostage on our own special day. Their greed was apparent, and it was utterly disgraceful. To make matters even worse, the alternative they provided was a tiny, cramped hall that was completely unsuitable for our engagement party. We had guests coming from near and far, and this pathetic excuse for a replacement venue was absolutely unacceptable. It was as if they were trying to ruin our event deliberately. The entire experience was marred by deceit, unprofessionalism, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. They took a moment that was supposed to be filled with joy and happiness and turned it into a nightmare. Save yourself the heartache and disappointment and steer clear of this fraudulent establishment. It's a disgrace to the hospitality industry. If you value your special occasions and your hard-earned money, do not trust this hotel. They'll promise you the moon and deliver you a pile of disappointment. Stay away at all costs.

I went to the caffe on the ground floor. Very good ambience, good crowd and good food. We ordered sushi and it tastes really good.

Don't expect decent behaviour. Food is average ( i recommend india cuisine only ). By lookin at the price point they are not able to provide the service like other high-end cafes/restaurants/bars are providing. And for parties if u have lots of money to waste this is your place.

I have been a regular visitor of the hotel. A very good place for staying and having food. The Food served here is excellent. Hospitality warm, service good, ambience lovely. Washrooms are clean. Only concern I find here is that restaurant crowd is a bit noisy.

Excellent service. Front desk staff Miss Angela was very co-operative when I wanted to check in an hour early. Very good property. Food can be better.

Worst place to stay in Guwahati. On the night of 11/5/23, till 11 midnight their renovation works were going on. The management is least bothered about customers and the hammers kept on hitting the floors. Absolutely stupid people and doesn't deserve 1 star.

Roof top is a risky place for any programme . Ups and down in the floor.Discomfort to walk.The upper stage is also a risky place.Anybody can fall from there.You have to very carefull for any movement. Foods also not up to the mark.Need to improve.

Worst hotel experience ! I can go on & on about how bad it is but will summarise with the following : 1. Every single night there are loud noises, staff members moving things, banging doors, talking loudly.. always around 1.30-2 am ! 2. Breakfast is pathetic .. asked for a black coffee didn’t come in 20 mins, I left 3. The kind of clientele is the worst ever. Seems like a bunch of drunks, uncouth loud people and doesn’t feel safe to move in and out of the room So disappointed ! Assumed this hotel was run by the same management running Spectrum restaurant but it’s not .. heaven and earth difference

Even a star for this restaurant is more. They treat customers as their slaves.We got delayed for 10 minutes as we stuck at traffic and requested them to extend the breakfast time.( We were a group of 20) Someone from them yelled at us as if they were giving free breakfast. They could’ve at least said no with some regard. They don’t even have someone who can respond to a customer in English. I’ve been to Taj, ITC Grand chola and many other prestigious hotels. Even they act with some dignity and respect. This is THE WORST HOTEL THAT WE HAVE EVER VISITED. Such a echa behaviour from all the staffs.

MOST HORRIBLE EXP. i booked 5600 eco room, to my surprise room was very small as compared to photos online.. then we decided to pay extra and booked superior room (7500 for a night). At this cost what we got is a horrible night with a/c getting tripped at 1 pm, noise from the traffic (absolute 0 sound proofing and entire night u ll hear truck, car bikes crossing).. break fast buffet was promised, but sadly no buffet it was also ala carte. Washroom with very sub standard Oyo treebo type toiletries.. nothing better than any Oyo.. please stay away from this hotel.. absolutely money makin leech.

Most untrained staff. During our stay of 4 days even after repeated request wifi password was not provided. Food is poor. Not great breakfast spread. Restaurant is even more pathetic 2 hour to serve a normal veg biryani. You can avoid this property. Not even proper staff to check out. Everybody is clueless.

The hotel had good facilities at one point of time, but there is a total lack of maintenance. For instance the rugs were very dirty. The clothes hangars were broken, the bathroom door handle had only a rod for opening the door, hot water kept coming in pulses with cold water coming in between, the shower space door was missing... the list goes on and on. This was the condition of the premium room. Their food was a major plus point - both, in terms of taste and quantity. The view from the room was very good

Thanks for accommodating us on a short notice. Our pre booked place gave our room to someone else (horrible experience) so thanks to this place for saving our day. .all we wanted was to rest from a long day of traveling and this place was worth it.

I stayed at Taj Coromandel for two day business trip and had a wonderful experience. I was attended by Jasmin during my check-in. She is a very polite, humble, helpful and made me feel comfortable during my visit. She informed me about all the services that the property offers. Special thanks to her. The food was awesome. I tried their Chinese cuisine at dragon restaurant. They customized the portion accordingly to my requirement. The breakfast and dinner buffet was also good. The whole staff was humble and attended each guest personally. Thank you everyone at Taj, Chennai for your warm hospitality.

Talking about Restaurant not Hotel. Service is very slow. Visited this place 2-3 times but everytime Experienced the same slow service.

Very very Pathetic Experience !!!! at Shoolin Grand during my recent visit to Guwahati. 1. Wait time at reception was more than 15mins , only with an unprofessional staff , and in reception lobby they have stopped the AC for cost cutting , hope with this you have fare enough idea about the current situation of Shoolin Grand . 2. Uncleaned Room 3. TV was just showpiece, was not working , 30mins repair work , and then came for setup box replacement after an hour . 4. AC has no remote to control. Only one good part that I observed that washroom was neat and clean. I got this experience at price of 4K , choice is yours .

Useless hotel. WI fi does not work. They don't give water in the room. Then when we asked for water at check out they charged for the water. Bathroom was leaking . Not even worth 1 start

The wedding hall was big enough but not much the sitting area for dining was not sufficiently big enough to hold 50 people at a time. But otherwise, it is great.

It is a lovely Hotel with good food, fine exterior and interior design. But, parking management is not upto mark and "few" staffs are unloving. But excluding this, its good for stay.

Attended my cousin's wedding reception there. Parking is an issue. The place is nicely built and is neat and clean. The reception could have been at the ground floor.

Good place for event management.. very good ambiance.. well maintained must say the hall is pretty big. There is ample space for parking and it looks quite beautiful when it’s well decorated.
