Had a 5 night stay at the Sheraton, first time I have after many visits to Doha and not disappointed. This was the first 5 star hotel in Doha, has been refurbished of course and enjoys a prominent position on the Corniche. Huge hotel with a number of high quality restaurants, and an excellent beach club and pool with great views across the bay. The room is a good size with a seating area, huge bathroom and the best part of the view from the balcony across the entire bay (pictures attached). Every tv channel available in multiple languages, all the sports and movie channels you could possibly want. The staff are amazing, from arrival to checkout, highly recommend this hotel when visiting Doha.

One the best hotel staying experiences I’ve ever had. Highly professional staff, everyone was very welcoming, kind, smiling and offering help. Though the building is old and it is known as the first 5 star hotel in Doha, but it’s very well maintained, you can feel how vintage and authentic it is. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Food buffets were diverse and very tasty. Special thanks to Mr. Aoun who gave us good upgrade offer at check in, he was very helpful and kind. I can’t thank the staff at club lounge enough who surprised me at my birthday with cake and a gift. It was a very nice gesture, especially the manager lady there, I forgot to ask about her name, she was super kind , always smiling and checking on us. I hope she can read this and know how much I’m thankful to her. Also the hotel is famous for their delicious “Um Ali”, don’t miss that If I ever stayed in Doha again, I’ll never hesitate to stay at Sheraton grand Doha.

As a loyal Sheraton customer I have returned to Sheraton Grand Doha after almost 12 years. The iconic hotel very well located still great and the pub providing a great service till late night. The Indian restaurant is great with one of the best Indian foods I had. Views from the hotel could reach the city, the ocean and you also can see the aircrafts landing on the amazing Doha Airport. A breath of fresh air to most places we have been. The outside pool service is great for food and drinks. This is a perfect place for unwinding and just taking the views. The beach at this resort is fantastic as well. The food and drinks were amazing, and we enjoyed a perfect and exceptional service from Gabriel. He was very friendly and took good care of us. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and servings of his signature cocktails.A very good experience.... Highly recommend it 👍

One of the good hotel staying experiences we had . Thought the building is old and it is known as first 5 start hotel in Doha but it is really well maintained and you can feel authentic and vintage it is . Rooms are clean and well equipped. Everyone in the hotel were very welcome and friendly . Everything about the property is amazing, the lobby ,restaurants,beach ,pool and also had beach activities ,We tried jet ski cost 300 qar for 30 minutes. definitely will come back again and next time would like to take jet ski for hours which is cost 400 qar .

One of the oldest 5 stars hotel in Doha, great lobby, Umm Ali is a must dessert (bread pudding). They have also an outdoor paddle courts, very nice guy and tennis courts.

It's 40 years old hotel but well maintained, cozy room with lovely sea view. We enjoyed their pool and jacuzzi. Clean beach and you able to see fishes swimming around you in the morning . Staff are very nice and helpful.

I am totally impressed and wowed in this Hotel. This Hotel was built in 1979 and just 1 year old younger than me. Very elegant and classy specially the lounge. The room was a mixed of classic and modern. Though so many guest checking in that time, what impressed me mostly was the way I was handled professionally and nicely. I would like to give a loud shout out to the pretty Ms Nikita for handling it professionally and well. For this reason, a 5⭐ review is not enough. I will give a 7⭐. Good job guys! Godbless.

I like the place, they have the red color as their theme. We have been to their brunch on Friday from 12-4 PM . The buffet was nice, had spring rolls, sambossa, a lot of fish. Tea, soda. There was a face painting and balloons for kids. Pricey, almost 300 QR per person. We took one night, the room is clean, they offered us dates, water and bowl of fruits.

Wonderful 17 nights and days with a very professional team. All is the best - service, kitchen, room, beach. Thank you for such a great vacation. We will definitely come again!

3-8 Feb '23. This place is as spectacular as it gets. It gleams, it sparkles, it shines and so do the staff. The huge pool is immaculate and heated. The beach has covered, comfortable lounge chairs. The breakfast/brunch buffet includes everything from date pudding to Indian curry. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive. And the hotel itself and rooms are immaculate, very well appointed, and well designed with a step down living area. We travel all over the Middle East and Europe,...and so far nothing has been as "Grand" as this. ...during the World Cup Ronaldo's family stayed here. Stay here and you'll understand how easy and comfortable vacations can be...

We did not stay in this hotel, but rather purchased one day pass ticket for pool and beach access. During working day we paid 100 qr per adult, while our kid had free access ( she is under 2). For 100qr , beside access to two pools and jacuzzi, beach and kids playground we got unlimited water in the portable fridge and unlimited use of towels. Very good deal, I would say. Warm recommendation to spend family day in great surrounding.

I selected Sheraton to celebrate my husband's Birthday it was amazing from the check in to check out. All the staff at reception / pool /room service and all areas of the hotel were so kind and welcoming making sure the guests were attended and happy. Special Thanks goes to Miss Megan,Miss Rania and Miss Aruzhan and Miss Fidan for making our stay very special and a good one. They go out of their way to see if there are kids to offer them something nice and even offered us a surprise cake for my husband. I Thank all the staff at Sheraton who are at the front line also at the back stage to make our stays so special and nice.

At the heart of this hotel is its amazing staff, followed by abundant food choices, and the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. As a family of three, with a small baby, we had a wonderful vacation at Sheraton! One star less is for the retro decor in the rooms - thick red wall to wall carpets and the 80ies brass furniture really look outdated for a high end hotel. Rooms do however feature a nice balcony, are of a decent size and clean with a wonderful view. Regardless, the exquisit service, amazing food and beautiful amenities such as pool, gym and wonderful resort-feel nature make up for the decor. The value for money is great if you want to enjoy the pool and outdoors. The rooms also have a nice balcony and beautiful views regardless of the orientation. We also very much enjoyed the club lounge - they serve tasty and healthy light lunch and dinner and the vibe is much coasier then the beautiful, but large and open, Hubara restaurant. Also, the lounge staff was so kind and really made us feel welcome and enjoy our vacation. Hubara, however, has the most amazing buffet, and the service is exquisite. What really made our stay was the people and the service - from the entrance to the room service and the Hubara and Club lounge staff, we felt welcomed and everyone was friendly and professional and ready to take care of every request. Also, everything was pristine clean. We want to mention just a few from many people that made our stay a lovely one- from Nadim, Kaka and Godthank at the entrance to our lovely breakfast server I Phyu, and the entire Club Lounge staff who were just so welcoming (and were lovely to accommodate a small baby and the occasional mess we made:) If you care less about the room decor, and more about the staff treatment, and the amenities, this is a great choice, and an unbeatable value for money from what we could see.

Even a short stay (1 night), you will be comfortable with the ambience of the hotel and resort with the following observations we sought and felt during our stay. 1. Cheerful and accommodating personnel from security, reception, housekeeping, restaurant staffs. 2. Beach and Poolside is clean and crystal clear which therefore you will be relaxed during swimming. 3. Room and Bed is very comfortable and relaxing with all the complimentary water, coffee and tea and you don't to call the room service if something is missing. If one item is missed, the room service is fast and reliable. 4. Food and drinks in restaurant for breakfast is in variety of selections and you will not only feel your in hotel but you will feel at home. Hopefully we can book and check in again in your prestigious 5 star hotel.

Went to enjoy swimming pool and beach on a Monday (ladies don't pay) with my family (my daughter is 15y) and they didn't let us in because my daughter is under age. There is no information anywhere regarding this policy. Lady in pool reception not nice at all. A group of 3 young local kids (underage) went on just after us. Not nice Sheraton!

This is a very comfortable hotel with a 24 hour check in service for what we paid. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. However, the room is not sound proof since I could hear people talking or the TV turned on. I liked the breakfast with so many options to choose. Bed was comfy and the shower was powerful.

If I can give seven stars I will give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!! Very nice Hotel very nice service. Very very clean, friendly staff , the pool, very nice the beach, very clean and all wishes coming true 😍👍🏼 I would like to come again .

Only went there for lunch with a friend, the selection was amazing, I missed taking photos of the cold seafood, fruit and the Turkish ice cream man who put on a show for each customer, but I did get most the other stuff. The restaurant area also has prayer areas for men and women and some nice traditional displays.

Perfect rooms, although they need some updates. The location is good but not close to local stores by walking. The service was excellent and professional.

The staff was amazing from the moment I entered the resort. I arrived late in the evening when I entered my suite there was a beautiful fruit platter and chocolates waiting. The breakfast, staff and service in the hotel restaurant and club lounge were fantastic! I only stayed one night wish I would have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

It was a great stay, the staff was helpful. Good choice for a business trip or just relaxing for a few days in Qatar. View from my room was beautiful and all rooms have balcony which is a plus point! Landmark building on the seaside, great access to everywhere. The room decoration/interior was very elegant and have the luxurious look and feel. Wide selection of breakfast and I enjoyed my morning meals every day!

We stop there for a coffee and “the best in Qatar” UmmAli dessert, its really delicious and awesome! Iconic building looks very good even now after so many years after inauguration, love this place!

This hotel has sentimental value for me, I like spending my events there whether it be work, family reunion, outings with friends....can’t find words to destiné the staff; the best! The food is soo good. today while I was enjoying the moment with my baby in the swimming pool a couple didn't stop looking at me in a very strange way since I was wearing a burkini, I felt very uncomfortable throughout the morning, and yet I am in a Muslim country and the roles have been reversed!

Amazing place, our 1st time to stay here we loved our room view, thank you so much Ms. Shania for assisting & accommodating us during our stay thank you for the freebies specially cake, my husband appreciated it Ms Shania. From our room view, pools & beach , foods so much amazing, we really enjoyed & we had so much fun specially my kids. And also thank you Ms Maegan for assisting us, thank you also Ei phyu and Preeven for assisting us during our breakfast. Definitely we will come back again.

Stayed for a night for a layover with Qatar airways. I arrived very late, the check in was quick and easy. The room was much bigger than I expected and very clean. Had a welcome amenity and a card from Mr. Persico. The shower was perfect and the bed was very comfortable, which was essential after my long flight. During the morning, on my way to breakfast I realized how big and pretty the lobby is. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, they have plenty of food options and even had the chance of trying local delicacies which were excellent; the staff was very helpful with their suggestions! If time allows I recommend walking the property since it's so big and with so many options to dine and enjoy the beach. I stayed around for a bit and close to midday headed back to the airport. It was my first time at this property and if I hadn't had several flights after my layover in Doha I would had definitely made arrangements to extend my stay.

Visited Sheraton 3x this year and it always exceeds my expectations everytime I visit. The staffs are amazing, friendly and accommodating. Beach is clean & warm and the pool is cold which is good since the days are still a bit humid this time. Had the Pepperoni Pizza last time I visited and it was very flavorful, we finished it off immediately. Overall good experience and will definitely go back again!

We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms are clean and retain a classic feel. The beach and pool area are wonderful. The staff are super lovely and the buffet breakfast is varied. Also 3 great restaurants in the hotel. Rozana at front desk was super helpful and very friendly.

If you are in Doha, you are with family or a romantic or need a chill environment while you work as well then this is definitely a very good option. I love the rooms, the balcony, the breakfast, the lounge and the whole resort side of it. One of the best hotels to stay in Doha from December to March.

Staff are all friendly and professional. Hotel facilities are 5-star level as expected. Shampoo and bath-gel should be better one, but almost perfect stay experience in Doha!

We stayed at this amazing hotel with excellent service. The receptionist Fatima was kind and very professional. Thai in charge of the housekeeping is kind and always willing to help. The rooms are perfect with a unique view. All the staff are friendly and always available. The pool area is large with many green areas and the water is chilled. The private beach makes the stay perfect. Comfort and elegance are in every detail. The breakfast is superb, full of every food and just perfect. The Chefs are kind and always ready. To visit absolutely.

This is the first of Doha hotels, it was built long before any building existed in that area(as you can see in the photo I got from online archive) It got renovated around 4 years ago, and they said it was made exactly as it was built, so when you go there, you feel it's history.

Just love the environment, place, location and all the arrangements.. Highly recommended and satisfied.. Very beautiful.. 👌

Known as the 'Pyramid of the Gulf' for its unique architecture, this hotel has a prime position in the West Bay area of Doha. It attracts business and Toursim. It is one of the oldest Hotel in Doha very well maintained . There is huge parking area in front of Hotel , they provide valet service as well. There are many famous restaurant chains inside the hotel . Private beach and pool access.

Well, everyone who’s lived in Qatar knows the Sheraton hotel. It’s one of my favorite places to chill, enjoy food, enjoy the pool, beach, and atmosphere. It’s one of the top family and singles destinations. Everything is superb! I like the slight renovation they’ve done without losing its unique and signature design. What I didn’t very much like, is that because of how busy it is, our luggage took 1hr to reach us, and the change in the breakfast buffet layout & menu; that’s the only reason I’m giving it 4/5. My photos are all indoors, but next time will have some for you while outdoors 😊

Talk about 5 stars??? The hotel may be rated 5stars but the experience is way above that. We are talking about beautiful scenery that i thought only existed on movies... Love the place and would advice y'all to go there... Menh and the food😋😋😋😋

The hotel is indeed nice, quite and comfortable. The sea view is amazing. The breakfast was ok. All staff were friendly and cooperative. One good thing to remember, in my last stay in the hotel, I forget my air-pods in the suite and checked out in the afternoon. When I realized that I forgot them in the hotel, I called the receptionist and they immediately retrieve the air-pods from the suite and kept them in the lost and found desk until I collected them.

This is truly a grand hotel, and I am delighted to be back. From the fine bedding, to the extensive grounds and beach, the Sheraton Grand has it all. I am delighted to be back amongst a lovely group of people, well led, who understand true hospitality. I have stayed over 2000 nights at Marriott hotels and I soundly recommend this hotel!

Awesome rooms here with the best food served in Doha. Staff here are super friendly and always looking for an opportunity to help. Conference and business facilities available here are again a plus plus for any work related activities. Best of all, Sheraton is located at the heart of Doha, right at the waterfront.

During my stay in Grand Sheraton resort in Doha I had couple of great days with blessed moment, cheerful and welcomed all the time long. At the last day and during breakfast we had received a small farewell celebration moment with Sheraton staff which added real value to my stay. Thanks to all staff for their highly manner ethics and special thanks to Mr. Sadham and sir Yazuro for their nice complements and support to made our stay even better.

The place it’s really good, the service it’s simply amazing, maybe it’s not one of the cheapest places to go for the pool and beach for one day but it’s totally worth! It’s definitely in my top of favorites pool and beach villages! I highly recommend the pimm’s cup!!

My friend and I we went to the beach and pool for just half day. And The staff at the pool cafe Aman ( from India) the young gentleman was warm and very hospitable. My offered amazing service.

FYI: My review is based on Beach Day Access only*. One of the best hotel Beaches in qatar but the service is VERY slow the team is extremely under-staffed (although they are very nice). And the beach toilets are extremely dirty (more like public toliets than 5-star Hotel Toilets). If they fix the food & beverage service it would be the best hotel beach in town. Suggestion from a frequent visitor (over 9 years): If you allow swimming in sea after sunset you would keep the beach buzzing with visitors all week long.

It is a Lovely Hotel, I went to Argentina vs Mexico game and stayed at this hotel. It has direct access to a beach and a fan zone. The breakfast has a good variety. The only issue is the lobby blasts loud music

One of the great hotels in Doha, very pleased with beach and staff is very friendly. Pool, on the other hand, is always full with kids. Drinks available on the beach from 10am, even from the bar section. Towels and water complimentary for visitors

We came here after the World Cup! Very nice Hotel, but expansive. The employees are very gentle and they will help you whit a lot. Use Uber, don’t try the Karwa taksi, because they will try to charge you more.

Impeccable stay. Initially had booked a week at a related Marriott property but after seeing the consistent high reviews, I wanted to check out the Sheraton Grand Doha. Upon arriving to the property (the entrance is decked out in gleaming marble and fresh cut floral arrangements) and speaking to the super friendly receptionists, I knew I would be treated like a valued guest. Despite the hotel’s age (2015 renovation), the facilities are immaculate. I loved the huge Fitness facility, Club Lounge with delicious meal service throughout the day, and resort features. You won’t be disappointed with this hotel choice.
