    I normally do not do reviews unless it’s so good or so bad! I advise caution and all to be careful while staying here. 1) I got held up at the immigration for more than 1 hour and also full bag searched, everything taken out. All because I booked this hotel. Yes, there have been some not so good activities here, so I got searched thoroughly and lost 2 hours. 2) rooms and service is awesome but they couldn’t even give me an extra one hour of late check out so that I can have lunch. They said they will charge me QR 100 for late check out till 4pm. My first experience! Technically, their next check in is at 3pm so they can give me time till 1 or even 2 but no, they said they will charge me! Bad experience in such a good country. Felt unwelcome!

    Room is pretty nice but when asked regarding room service, a complete shut out saying nothing will be available, all I wanted to ask for was some water. Very rude operator that just wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible. Reception staff was nice but this was a terrible experience specifically because of room service, in all my years travelling I’ve never seen anyone so rude.

    It was good stay and safe quarantine. The service by Aladdin the room attendant was assisting and making sure that guest was comfortable and ready to assist the request of the guest. The room and bathroom was totally clean and food is good and all staffs were very kind and attentive. I want to thank Mr.aladdin and staffs who rendered service to me were highly appreciated and thanks for making me comfortable. Good luck! Best wishes!

    All staff of the hotel are very accommodating and always ready to assist especially the request of the guest. The room is clean and well organized. The toilet and bathroom totally clean. The food is delicious and healthy and prepared well. Thanks Miss Dally for the food that you are preparing. Above all the staff services rendering to me is highly appreciated. Once again thanks..

    I had a good experience one day quarantine.. All the staffs are good in behaviour.. Rooms were well cleaned and properly hygienic... Food was delivered at proper time.. Getting nice knowledge about hotel from ms jamuna Thanks a lot

    I was put up in the Safir hotel Doha for one night by Qatar airways due to a delayed and rebooked flight. The hotel service was excellent! We were collected from the airport by a member of staff and transferred to the hotel. It was very late at night (after 11pm) but the reception staff got us checked in very quickly and also informed us that they kept the dinner buffet open late for us- this was very appreciated as we were all tired and hungry. We were also given meal vouchers from the airline which made it very straightforward to eat at the hotel restaurant. The room was lovely, very clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We were also allowed to check out very late- 5pm the following day - as our flight was in the evening. Our meal voucher was enough to cover dinner, breakfast and lunch and the food was excellent- it was buffet style with lots of choice. I would like to thank Dolly in particular, who looked after us so well in the restaurant! Our stopover in Safir hotel Doha was not planned, but after staying here, I would definitely stay again. The staff in Safir are absolutely wonderful and deserve every praise! Thank you for making everything so nice for us Qatar airways passengers.

    I would like to share my positive review of the hotel we stayed at during our recent stopover on the way from Australia to Europe. The hotel provided excellent accommodation and service, and we were particularly pleased with their flexibility and attentiveness. Upon our early morning arrival at 7 am, the hotel was able to accommodate us and provided us with two rooms. Although the rooms were not adjacent, we were delighted to find that they were located on the same floor, which was convenient for our group. One aspect that stood out was the hotel's consideration for our booking. We had reserved a room with breakfast included, but since we checked out at 10 pm on the same day, we were unable to have breakfast the following morning. However, the hotel allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the day of our arrival, despite checking out at 10 am. This gesture of flexibility and understanding was truly commendable. Overall, our experience at the hotel was exceptional and provided great value for money. It served as a perfect stopover on our journey from Australia to Europe. We were impressed with the level of service, the comfortable rooms, and the opportunity to have an early morning breakfast. I chose this hotel because I understood they had a Suttle service to the hotel. However the hotel quoted a price that was four times more expensive than the cost of using a ride-sharing service like Uber. To provide some context, the hotel's price for a return trip for a family of 5 was 250 QAR, while the Uber return fare was only 60 QAR Considering the significant price difference, using Uber or a similar service is a much more cost-effective option for transportation to the airport

    I love the cleanliness and atmosphere of my room that’s why I slept very comfortable. I would like to recommend one of the staffs, Dally from services as she is very accommodating on my requests specially when it comes to food. In over all, it was a great experience staying in the hotel.

    Title: Unpleasant Hospitality Experience with Receptionist Ahrra at Safir Al Doha Review: My recent stay at Safir Al Doha was marred by an incredibly disappointing experience with the receptionist, Ahrra. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, it became evident that Ahrra's approach to customer service was far below expectations. Ahrra's lack of friendliness and welcoming attitude was a significant letdown. Instead of greeting guests with a warm smile or a kind word, she appeared disinterested and distant. It was disheartening to be met with such indifference, especially after a long journey. Not only was Ahrra unwelcoming, but she also demonstrated a complete disregard for guests' needs and concerns. she seemed uninterested and dismissive. Her responses were curt and unhelpful, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. Basic courtesy and professionalism were sorely lacking in Ahrra's conduct. showing a lack of respect for guests. It was disconcerting to have my questions brushed off or disregarded without any genuine effort to address them. I left the front desk feeling disrespected and unimportant. Moreover, Ahrra's incompetence was evident in her inability to efficiently handle guest requests and resolve issues. Her lack of basic operational skills was evident and disappointing. In conclusion, my experience with receptionist Ahrra at Safir Al Doha was thoroughly unpleasant. Her lack of hospitality, professionalism, and basic courtesy left a lasting negative impression. I strongly urge the hotel management to address these issues and reconsider Ahrra's suitability for a customer-facing role. Guests deserve a far better experience than what Ahrra provided during my stay at Safir Al Doha.

    Dear safir hotel... First of all in the reception people (man) don't know how is the way to treat the guest. So teach how to guide others and how to talk politely with others. So finely reception people treating very poor. Thank you.

    I had a great stay and service was very good!I stayed at this hotel consecutively for 02 days to complete my mandatory quarantine. my experience at this hotel was really good and there is nothing more that I could have ask for and i write this comment because i need to thank all hotel team especially Muhammad Alauddin the one who assists me to get a very nice stay at hotel.

    Room cleanness is in order. But services are provided in professional manner.... Breakfast and lunch need to upgrade from level... Wifi strength need to upgrade, signal is very poor........ Rest is ok. . .

    There is absolutely no way this hotel is a 4 stars. Horrible state of rooms and total lack of customer service. Breakfast buffet is more like a cheap snack buffet!

    Was booked for the day due to flight cancelation. My airline also provided a free voucher for the restaurant, which was a great selection of food from the buffet table. The bathroom was well designed and shower was very nice! Again, I only stayed for a while for layover buy I highly recommend this hotel.

    Worst place to book Hotel Just pay 50 QAR and you can take any one to the room No guests aloud to the room But pay 50 QAR every thing is Leagal you can take any one to your room Indian supervisor is Also the worst person rude to core Treating people as par Nationally Philippino staff Ahrra worst Among all. Told her I will complain about her she was cool about it. Please don't treat your customers like this. Rest all the staff are good. Over All the place is not good Rooms are small.

    You cannot invite your guest to room.... cannot go out of your floor, its like a free controlled jail... The reception guy is like.. wait i will call you, sit i will call you, dont want yo listen... lot improvement require.

    Everything is perfect. The facilities of this hotel are very clean and beds are so comfortable. And the hotel buffet food also changes for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is very delicious. In particular, Ms.Dally who works for the hotel buffet was very friendly, so I was able to eat very comfortably and happily. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Ms.Dally once again ^.^ Although I stopped by the hotel briefly during a layover, I made good memories. ^-^

    Booked my quarantine hotel in Safir Hotel. To be honest I was only expecting an ordinary experience, but Safir Hotel exceeded my expectations. All of the staff are professional and gave us satisfactory service most especially Dally from the food service who accommodated all of our special requests when it comes to food preparation and service. Everything is well prepared and cooked. Definitely an exceptional one! Thank you Dally and Safir Hotel for your exemplary assistance.

    We stayed there with family arranged by Qatar Airways due to having our connection flight missed. The Safir hotel had friendly, caring and generous staff. Its restaurant had an open buffet with various delicious foods. The coffee shop in the hotel was managed by Jamuna who was very friendly and welcoming. We strongly recommend to stay in Safir hotel for anyone who likes to visit beautiful Doha city, a city that has friendly and welcoming people.

    Staying here for a break is wonderful. The place has a pleasant, clean, and distinctly Qatari style. The waitresses, Dally and Anna, are incredibly professional in their service, so you won't have to look for food or any other things on your own.

    What makes this place great is the friendly staff. From the reception to the bell boy, everyone’s warm and welcoming. The gym and pool are lovely. The location is great. The place seems clean too. My only complaints would be that the toilet is very dull and doesn’t seem up to the mark. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Couldn’t even watch YouTube. So that’s a big turn off.

    The service and friendliness of the staff were the most pleasant feature of the hotel. Especially the restaurant food and selection, Dally was an outstanding help at breakfast and lunch. It was also a good surprise to find a great gym and fabulous roof top pool. Could not speak too highly for all the staff.

    Photos provided at the website was far different on the actual. Moulds were all over the room and toilet. Cabinet door was broken and room service takes forever before arriving.

    Only had a brief stay due to a long connection from Australia onwards to Africa. The experience was great, rooms were pretty decent. Really enjoyed the hospitality extended to me by Dally and the entire staff during the meal services. Highly recommend this place especially for short stay visitors.

    I was booked here because of a cancelled flight. At first i felt unsafe because I am not familiar with the place since its my first time in Doha. But I felt so relieved when I was greeted with two Filipina receptionists that are very pleasant and helpful. They are quick and excellent. For a female traveller and alone that time it was a relief knowing that there are pleasant staff at the hotel. I just want to commend the following staff, Sherra, Dally, Jessica and Christine for being so helpful, they go the extra mile of assisting me during my stay and even suggested a place where I can go for my short stay. These ladies are exemplary and intelligent. I appreciate, Christine's wake up call 30 minutes before my call time to leave the hotel, so I won't be late for my flight. Grateful for Jonathan also for taking me and the rest of the guests at the airport, he was prompt and full of joy as he do his job. I am able to have a memorable stay there because of your amazing staff.

    Good location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset. Special mention to Dally and all of the staff of the service department for taking care of my request during my stay.

    During the outbreak of Corona virus last year, I went to Safir hotel, Doha and stayed there for some time. The hotel is really very good, all the services are very good. And especially the behavior of hotel staff was very good. I like the behavior of driver Razu Mondal most, because He receives passengers in a very nice way😍 I am very satisfied with the service of this hotel 😊

    The room was clean. The staffs were nice starting from the security guard during the time that I arrived even if its early morning. Thank you also to the Filipino staff who helped me with my luggage and to the staff from the food service department especially DALLY who arrange my meal request. Thank you so much and keep up the good work. Will definitely include this hotel on my list. Stay safe everyone and hoping that this pandemic will end soon.

    Very pleasant experience overall. The place is chic and the service is great. Offer a daily set menu and a la cart. The choices are rich and will cater for every taste. Prices for extra foods are reasonable. The quality of the food is great and most importantly clean. I enjoyed it a lot and I think you will. One of your room assistants Mr. Bikash so polite and very helpful to me.

    The room hotel is clean and with great ambiance. Staffs are very accomodating especially Miss Dally who was very attentive and on time with my request. The food were delivered warm and fresh. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back for its reasonable price.

    I’m not sure if it was because i was so very tired from travel but the beds were so very comfortable. We stayed here overnight for a flight layover and didn’t get to explore around too much. The in-hotel restaurant with breakfast and lunch was very sanitary with employees caring for sanitation. In our room the universal power outlets were not working but we used another outlet in the room. The reception was very organized with them calling us in the morning to alert us for the departing shuttle to the airport for our shuttle.

    I booked this hotel through discover qatar for my quarantine days. I couldn't explore much but the food and the room service they provided was really appreciable. The staffs were very polite and helpful. They provided everything needed on request as soon as possible. I stayed in their standard room which was not so big but of a acceptable size, with a mini bar and an electric kettle with sachets of instant coffee, tea bags, sugar and milk. Bedding was so comfy and bathroom was clean. Also they provide a locker with number lock. Overall the stay was very comfortable and satisfying.

    The hotel is very nice the food is also very nice. I really enjoyed it. Just one thing to the staff especially the Room Service staff Antony or something i just forgot his name and his so friendly just because his my kababayan (Pinoy). And more water available in the room. As well coffee. They mentioned in the booking we have coffee. Over all the stay was good

    Bad experience. Right from check-in onwards everything is not as per the four star rating of the hotel. At check-in the gentleman was definitely not polite in interaction. I think he hates his job. After checking in, found two cockroaches in the bath. Rest of the room was fine but definitely not well maintained. Furniture had chips coming out, not so well maintained carpet. As part of quarantine rule, breakfast was delivered in the room. There were rubbery chapati & dal for break fast (it is a lunch menu). For lunch only rice with cabbage curry, no bread of any kind. Absolute no taste. I ordered tea with room service, as I do not prefer dip-tea (which was available for free in the room). I got exactly the same dip-tea delivered to my room; just that I had to pay 15 dirhams! The reception was in hurry to check me out. I got one unexpected room service person at my room door and three unwanted call from reception in the middle of rest time after a long tiring journey. Do NOT use this hotel.

    Incredible hotel. Stayed there for couple of nights and I felt very safe and secured. My prefer type of room indeed mesmerizing. The place is quite relaxing. Recommended hotel for everyone. Hi Ms. Jhuvy, thanks for your service! U helped me a lot.

    Stayed there sometime before the pandemic. I had missed my connection to UK so airline placed me in the Safir. The room was very nice and a small problem with curtains was quickly fixed. After a nap, I went to the restaurant for the first of my allocated meals only to find it full of tobacco smoke. There was a non- smoking section but not separate. I am quite old and suffer from several serious illnesses. I went to reception who did not seem to understand my plight. However, the manager was nearby and arranged for food to be brought to reception. The guy who brought the food complained to the manager that I was not allowed a mango juice as only a one canned drink was permitted. The manager kindly intervened and I received my request. I then went for a walk. On my return, I went to reception where the polite but perplexed staff ordered channa curry and rice to be brought to my room (being vegetarian didn’t help). The food duly arrived and after insisting to the deliverer that I did not have to pay, ate the not-so-good food. I did notice there was a lot of chilli in the curry (I had been to India). Disappointed, I decided to forego the shuttle later and walk to the airport. On exiting the hotel, I encountered the kind Moroccan?manager who insisted on giving me a lift with his Tunisian companion. On the way, we had, in my opinion, an amusing conversation. I then made up for the bad food in the airport lounge provided for me. The flight home was interesting, I can laugh about it now. There had been a lot of chili in my curry! My abiding memory of the Safir Hotel is the kindness of the manager for whom I retain great respect and gratitude.

    In my opinion it would be more like a good 3 stars hotel. Struggled between giving 3 or 4 stars. But the average score of 4.8 is definitely rated too high in my opinion. Stayed there in several rooms during the World Cup and experienced different quality standards. In one room the mattress was quite uncomfortable in another one it was super comfortable. Air condition was super loud in one of the rooms I’ve stayed in another it was okay. Drain in the shower didn’t work well in all rooms. What I really disliked was the carpet in every room which I found a bit disgusting. Also, all in all the rooms are kind of a bit older, although one room had a newly renovated shower. Breakfast, pool and gym I didn’t see and try. Staff was nice and friendly, especially the cleaning staff. Price for value was not given during the World Cup. As what I have seen, usual prices seem to be completely fine for what you get for your money.

    These rooms are disgusting! The first room we had, we you’re greeted with the smell of mold & mildew. Entering the shower, it is surrounded in black mold in every crevice. The shower leaks onto the bathroom floor all the way into the hallway. Toilet just runs after you flush it probably the reason for the urine smell. We asked the front desk to switch rooms but the second was actually worse than the first. This room had a mold, mildew and smoke smell as well as the same mold and leaking shower issue. I can’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings as this is a severe health issue. The only reason we stayed is because everything was completed via fifa which wouldn’t respond to my many emails and calls. This is hands down the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed out and I travel very often. Overall the staff is extremely nice but the rooms are nasty.
