Our flight was delayed due to weather and the hotel refused to give us a room or a refund. Given it’s a transit hotel inside an airport, the frequency of flight disruptions should require some flexibility. Beware they will not budge from their 24hr no change or cancellation policy even due to weather related delays.

Not cheap but amazing to have. Flew from NYC and had an 11 hr layover and being able to check into oryx and get a shower and some sleep was so helpful during our travels. Didn’t use any of the amenities but check in was great and the room was quiet and really nice Really comfortable bed and fantastic shower with rain shower head. Highly recommend if you’ve got a long travel ahead. When we booked the room, they were sold out of the hourly rated hotel rooms so we had to book a one night stay (around $300 USD) but worth it.

This hotel is inside the transit area of the Qatar international airport. This is a very good option if you have a connection that is happening in a couple of hours. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has a great spa area. Price is fair for the services the hotel offers. I highly recommend it.

After a long haul flight with another long connection time, this hotel was heaven on earth. Located directly at the airport. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, beautifully cleaned, with all amenities you could need. The bed was superb. The soundproofing was solid considering you are directly at the airport, very appreciated. We must point out the incredibly caring service we received from Mr. Aabid! A true professional, thank you! The pool’s also very cool!

Stayed here overnight on a long layover. Was a nice refuge to the hustle and bustle of the airport. Beds comfortable, hot showers, and good amenities. Room service was decent food. Spa and pool available.

now we are in orix hotel doha airport. they don't have cold water in the shower! some person sat in our shower for 15 minutes and drained the water. then it turned out that they do not have cold water in the hotel. when asked to fix the problem, they replied that it was normal. if we want, we can use boiling water or hot water. I have a small child who does not want to bathe in too hot water. we are very tired from the road and can not take a shower and rest 😒

To be honest, I expected a little bit more. The service was nice but the place could have been a bit cleaner to be fair. Still, worth when you stay a bit longer (6+ hours) at the airport and got money to spend. :)

Excellent hotel. My wife and I had a long layover in Doha and decided to stay at the Oryx and I’m glad we did. The hotel manager was great. Despite the hotel being busy he was able to get us a room at a good rate. The room was a large, modern and very clean. I recommend using the rainfall shower, you won’t regret it! I also recommend going to the Vitality Spa. It’s part of the hotel rate and a great place to relax after travel. The only minor issue we had were their were no usb ports to charge phones near the bed. We had a power converter which solved the problem but it’s worth noting as not all travelers carry that on their travels.

The best feature of the hotel is its location. It's inside the airport and you can stay overnight without needing any visa, without getting out of the airport at all. We got the family room, which provided ample size (see the photos). The hotel is clean, has a nice bathroom, and very safe. There is a mini fridge in the room, but no microwave that I'm aware of. The staff members are very courteous. You'll also get an access to a pool, a hot tub, and gym.

Unlike the airport itself, the hotel experience is… bland. For the price, the hotel wouldn’t even allow you to bring food in, just snacks. Comfortable and clean. Good air conditioning! Good thing is close to all major areas of the airport.

We had a long layover in Doha and this hotel while a little on the pricey side is worth every cent! The rooms are spacious, the rain shower head is huge and with good pressure, bed is comfortable with amenities provided including soap, shampoo, conditioner and toothbrush/toothpaste kits. This hotel is perfect for a layover in Doha and it’s in the airport so you have access to all the restaurants etc, very convenient!

Very convenient for transit. The location is inside the airport in the middle of tax free shops. It might be a bit difficult to find this hotel. The elevator to the hotel is next to HERMES behind the wall.

If you have a layover in Doha then consider a stay at this very nice hotel. It is right in the middle of all the shopping and dining in Hamad Airport. The entrance is right behind the yellow bear to the left. The reception staff were super nice. When we entered the room we could not work the AC controller. We called the desk and a maintenance man showed up inside of 3 minutes. The room was clean and upscale. We had the family room with one queen and 2 double beds. Super comfy. Please note that you need to book early as this place is chronically fully booked

One of the best transit hotels we have ever stayed in with large rooms and super comfortable beds. It was also spotlessly clean. In spite of being in the middle of the airport, it is very quiet. Each room has darkening sliders that work well. We liked the large bathroom, and lots of storage space. The rooms have bidets, hair dryers, robes, a safe, climate control, a large TV, irons and necessities like shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc. The staff was great and they made sure to give us two wake up calls, and informed us what gate our flight was leaving from. It is also a good value. We would definitely stay here again.

Great rooms, really convenient. However vastly overpriced. Also upon arrival they had one person working at a busy checkin time. (5 people waiting at a time) One person asked if they could call for extra help. Informed "please be patient." 🙄

One of the best IN airport hotels I’ve seen! Spacious rooms, shower with male water pressure, fabulous amenities in the rooms and access to cafes and food courts nearby… what more does one need between flights?

Transfer hotel inside airport had very nice beds. Condiments supplied. However, no cold water in shower or bottled. The shower water is warm to very hot. WiFi was very good ! However, No complaints for this hotel in regards to inside the rooms. The hotel stay for our duration of 12+hrs was on the expensive side for one night. It is $572 AUD roughly . Room service/desk staff were professional and polite. Maybe , some cheeky bargaining when it came to paying for room service food. Food was very good. Make sure to always check the conversion rates if you are paying in a foreign currency. Food in local currency was 120 QAR all together we paid 133QAR as we paid in local and foregin currency... we were told if we paid 40€ it would cover the cost... this conversion went up to 154 QAR roughly. So, make sure to watch this .

I had a long transit of 19 hours and decided to check in this hotel. Rooms were clean,comfortable and conveniently located. Hotel emailed me directions to easily locate the hotel . Check in was a breeze.

Luxury hotel with a side of bed bugs. This hotel was very convenient for a long layover. Having use of the vitality spa was a nice perk to help get some exercise in. The rooms overall look great, but there is a bit of a noise factor. You can faintly hear announcements all night long. There was a brief pause it seemed from around 2-4 am but there are people coming and going in the halls all night long. In particular, loud talkers who whistle down the hall at 4 am. There don’t seem to be any type of quiet hours listed. A pair of complimentary earplugs would go a long way. While I can live with those things, I was very disappointed to find bed bugs. I travel often, and this was my first encounter. This was the beginning of our trip, so I know we didn’t bring them with us. My husband saw a bug crawling on my pillow as we were lying in bed. Upon further examination it was most definitely a bed bug. The bug was squished and I took the pillow with the bug to the lobby where I was offered a new pillow. We really didn’t want to examine the rest of the bed, but there were other red/brown spots on pillows where I saw similar evidence of more bugs. Everything itched and this was definitely not how we wanted to start a 3 week long vacation. A small discount for compensation was offered, but only after really having to ask for it. However, I’m not sure it will cover the cost of treatment or mental capacity I’m now dragging with me on the rest of our vacation. I was told the hotel housekeeping would clean the room. No mention of other efforts. Room 107 has bed bugs. There may be other rooms infected. So if you want to pay a lot of money to get bed bugs and potentially bring them with you home or on the rest of your trip, I’d avoid this hotel until they can get the problem under control.

Did not stay at the hotel itself but the swimming pool and relaxation area are nice. The pool is a bit warm for lap swimming but still better than nothing. Locker room is big enough for carry-on to fit and showers are nice. Highly recommend spending some time here on a layover. They also have a gym which I didn't use.

Had a very comfortable stay at this location when our flight got delayed at Doha. The hotel is conveniently located inside the airport offering all the standard amenities with room service available and other restaurants in the terminal close by. The hotel has a spa where a 30% discount is available. This hotel stay and spa definitely made our unplanned layover more bearable!

The room was very spacious and clean. The service was great. We didn't have an online reservation, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Aabid did his best to find us a room and not keep us waiting for too long. Your help is very appreciated! I was worried the room would be noisy and we would not be able to sleep since it is right in the middle of the airport, but it was surprisingly very quiet!

Lovely place to stay. Right off the terminal so you could go back and forth to get food. Stayed here during our 18 hour stop-over in Doha. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we could not go into the city. The room service was great too. Would definitely stay again.

Super Clean rooms and big space for big family like mine. Beds are so soft and comfy. You have to book in advance otherwise you will be turned away

Best airport I have been in my life. Lots of open spaces and renowned hospitality. Loved it....

The hotel is excellent, it's small, simple a little pricey. The bathroom on the other hand is absolutely amazing. That shower head, the sink, even the stone used as ceramic tiles feels nice. I've been to thermal spa resorts and even they weren't able to maintain that level hot water consistency. I've literally only felt that the bathroom was all I needed to take photos of. Food menu is a little weak, but I'd be happy to go hungry with that shower.

At least ill be comfortable with long layovers now! Cheaper tickets plus comfortable layovers equals more travel! 😍🤩

I recently stayed at the Oryx Airport Hotel in Qatar and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the transit area of the airport, which was perfect for me as I had an early morning flight the next day. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right – not too firm, not too soft. The bathroom was also clean and had all the necessary toiletries. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the airport hotel. It provided everything I needed for a comfortable and convenient overnight stay before my flight. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel near the airport.

The hotel was lovely- super clean, great facilities with friendly and patient staff. Probably the nicest hotel that I've ever stayed in. The only issue was that when our flight arrived late (around 2am) we were told we would still have to check-out at the same time- we asked if we could pay to stay longer as we were very tired and they kindly extended the check-out time by 2 hours without fee.

This was my second time using this beautiful and large airport. I loved how fast it was to disembark from their large plane. We used 2 exits for exiting the plane. The airport is breathtaking, words can't describe the ambiance, the beauty, the artistic decoration. You just need to visit to experience the beauty! The only downside was the terminal we used on our return back to Nigeria.

The rooms are clean and comfortable for spending your transit time at the airport and freshening up. The front desk is always busy but the staff takes care of your needs quite promptly. Quite pricey for the overall experience but given it's the only transit hotel at the airport the price tag is understandable.

Expensive room but worth the price if you are stuck at Doha Airport with a long layover. Room was comfortable, bed was good size and clean. Make sure to go upstairs to the Pool and Spa which are world-class. If you get the opportunity to book a massage it is well worth the money, highly competent massage therapists work in the wellness centre on level 3. It is worth the money if you have the opportunity and is better than trying to sleep in the terminal or lounge.

Good transit hotel, well equipped, with a gym and pool. Rooms are spacious, neat and well maintained. I arrived without a reservation, and the staff arranged a room within 45 minutes. Located in the main lobby, close to all shopping outlets and food court.

Loved it. Very polite staff, very spacious room with great big shower and all amenities needed. The cosmetics provided were “Rituals” and it felt like few minutes in a spa centre.

Great location at terminal C. Rooms are pretty good and staffs were welcoming. Flight got delayed so qatar airways provided that room. Only thing was we didn't want to stay there since we were getting late to see our family in India.
