First time trying out this pizza and it was delicious! Loved their sweet sauce and crispy thin crust! I ordered an XL and it was ready in 15 minutes! Very clean place and friendly staff. Will definitely order from here again!

Amazing food, great service. We drove 14 hours today(cross-country adventure) - looked up pizza in our area and this looked the best, just happened to be near our B&B too. Placed an order for pickup over the phone, it was ready on time and the staff/owners were amazing, friendly and helped me bring the order to my car. We didn’t know about the soda deal, another perk! If we were local we’d be here all the time. Thank you!

OMG... Fantastic! I'm not a pizza affectionado, or have I been to a multitudes of pizzerias. But... I must definitely say, hands down this is definitely the best pizza I've ever had, ever! The veggie delight was all a vegetarian could ask for! You'd never miss the meat! A cracker flaky type of crust loaded with fresh mushrooms, onion's, green peppers, black olives and three cheeses. And, the sauce was the right texture, flavor and consistency. Just the right amount salt and sweet. Great! I'd give 5-stars accept for the fact the pizza is so damn fresh and loaded. Some of my pizza, towards the center was soggy and stuck to the pizza box! Not good! I couldn't enjoy the flaky crispy crust towards the edges... And, the last thing I want to do is chew on cardboard. Overall I'm happy to now have a pizza home!

Great pizza and fast! You can usually order and pick up in 25 minutes. Pizza is always hot and delicious. The potato crust is great if you like a thicker crust. Very good and a neighborhood favorite. Outside BYOB area is also a nice option.

Literally the best most reasonable priced pizza around. The sauce is amazing. I don't usually like pizza sauce but theirs is so good. Customer service is really good too my order was ready right away and the lady that rang me up was so kind. She even gave us a free pop. This is going to be our new go to for pizza. I highly recommend!

Very good pizza. A new favorite place of mine, no question.

The pizza here is pretty darn good. The sauce is sweet, but not overbearing. The dough is excellent, and slightly burned. (I love that for some reason.) The cheese is a decent quality. Everyone was super nice. I wish this was a sit down restaurant. We got half cheese/half sausage. The sausage wasn’t bad, just slightly bland. My actual score is 4.5 out of 5.

Tonight was my first time ordering here....sausage and cheese pizza w/extra cheese....OMG....it was soooo good....My family loved it....our new pizza spot! We our ready to try some of their specialty pizzas...Can't wait!

Definitely the best pizza on the south side. Sometimes it takes a few calls during busy times, they close randomly… they are a family business and I think they do the best they can. We’ve had some crazy experiences with this place, all the better. Good stories and great pizza! Always worth it.

No indoor dining but they have patio dining and take out. Absolutely the best thin crust pizza I have had in a long time. Sweet, spicy sauce, perfect crust and the sausage and pepperoni was great!

They never answer phone can never order a pizza for delivery. Unbelievable never had this problem from a pizza place..

This review is a long time in the making, but last night prompted me to finally do it. First, before I say anything else - I have NEVER had a bad pizza from Tatas. They’re amazing in that respect. The issue and what’s not so great is simply how they run their business and their consistency when it comes from an hours of operation standpoint. My wife grew up in Mount Greenwood. We would frequently have TaTas when I visited her when we were dating. We’ve lived together out in Lake and McHenry county (Johnsburg now) for over 10 years. We regularly make trips to the south side to see friends and pick up pizza (usually beggars or fox’s for my mother in law and TaTas for ourselves). If the food isn’t an issue, what is? If you look at the website, you get one set of hours. Google has an entirely different set of hours. So does yelp, Facebook and any other site they appear on. The hours they work and stay open have not ever matched what is posted or available to find online. On at least a dozen occasions, I’ve called while they should be open (7pm on a Saturday night) and I get their voicemail, which isn’t set up and is always full. They simply don’t stay open and aren’t in the building when they say they will be. The food is great, but I don’t know how as a business they remain open when they can’t be available when they say they will. Last night, hours on their site say 9, google says 10, I think Facebook said 11pm. I was buying pizza for 8 people and it would have been a sizable order. I called at 7:45, no answer. So, being that I was only over at Pulaski and 109th, decided to take a ride over. Building was locked up, dark, and clearly not open when ALL of their information said they would be. I drive nearly two hours from McHenry county to get their food and visit friends and they’re not open. Talk about disappointed. I hope the owner sees this and understands how much greater their business could be with a little consistency.

Food was well prepared. Staff was extremely friendly. Food and drink orders were filled right away. We sat in the outdoor dining area with the huge glass skylight above us. Air conditioner also feeds the outdoor dining area. The chips and salsa were delicious for preappetiser ordering. Nice place for groups and family dining.

Fantastic neighborhood pizza place. Do yourself a favor get it with pepperoni and make sure you ask for it crispy. You can thank me later
