We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room (the blue furniture ones) with a gorgeous view to the Danube. I absolutely loved the room and the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. The towels and toiletries were changed and replenished daily. The lady at the reception was very kind and had great recommendations for what to visit, even gave us a great map. I didn't like the restaurant, it was impossible to get breakfast or dinner as a normal guest without prepaid meals. Overall, we booked for 1 night, we stayed for 2 because we loved the hotel and the beautiful city!

The hotel has some renovated room, and some not renovated. We were lucky to have some old style room with a view. The restaurant doesn’t worth a try. From several different main dishes, there was barely something, that was eatable. The meat was raw ( chicken). Definitive never again. The waiter and the receptionist were nice.

We spend 4 nighs in this nice hotel close to the city center and with a beautiful Danube view. The exterior may not be very attractive for the moment, but inside is really nice and clean. The rooms are big enough with wide windows to admire the Danube on day light and on moonlight.

View from the room it's amazing Receptionist that we saw at check in and check out have been amazing, nice and friendly The room that we stayed in didn't have anything special, like a simple room with old furniture. We felt a bit cold overnight, and the water in the shower didn't have enough pressure. Also we had a noisy night from the bathroom fan. Overall, was a good night, nothing too bad.

A 3-star hotel, adjacent parking for a fee of 20 lei per day, the location of the hotel is very good, you can park in the adjacent street for free, the reception staff was very charming and took care of our requests quickly, they also made sure to change our room in the evening because there was a malfunction in the shower in the room, no There was hot water flow at all. The room is comfortable, the furniture and mattresses need renewal. Reasonable and very good breakfast compared to 3 star hotels. There is a seating option on the outside balcony. One thing didn't turn out well, in the evening we came to fill water from the water dispenser in the dining room and got scolded by one of the waiters claiming that it is only for breakfast, all in all a very reasonable place for those who want to spend a day there and move on.

The rooms are quite outdated, and there are a few problems with the bathroom (shower doesn’t drain properly and the sink is a bit loose) but the service is very good and it is in a great location.

If you get a room on the back of the hotel you can see have a great view. The prices are a bit high. Breakfast is a little on the low side.

Nice hotel, if you looking for affordable price. Hotel is in commi style. (Google is so woke and don’t let me write that word). There old style rooms and modern rooms. I stayed here in may and can recommend this hotel

Really old furniture, the bathroom was not cleaned. The sink was clogged and yellow 😪, the shower cabin as well. Overall outdated, seems like you are stuck in the 90’s There was a wedding party and we could not sleep until 4 in the morning when the party stopped So not recommend at all, sorry.

The most beautiful view from the room! Nice breakfast, simple, but tasty. Great location, everything is near by. We enjoy it.

Perfect location - and if you get a room facing the Danube, the view will probably top any other negative comments you might have - at least that happened for me. We had an unrenovated room (was asked about this before confirming the booking, I didn't mind) - and honestly, it looked ok, maybe some things were a bit old and could have been replaced, but it was clean and had everything that's needed in a hotel room. The kitchen closes at 9pm, which I figured is really early for a hotel (hence the 4* for the service). The staff was really helpful and nice.

Interesting architecture typical for the communist era from the outside, newly remodeled rooms inside with ac, a kettle, fridge. Very friendly english speaking staff, great location, convenient parking on front of the building. Amazing view over Danube river.

The hotel seems to be "the central one" in this town. It is quite soviet-style / outdate. This refers both to the rooms and to the service. The personnel does not really like the guests and tend to show it. I was travelling alone with my 20 months' old twins from Austria to Bulgaria and planned to stay 1 night. I needed a parking space not far from the entrance, mentioned it in my booking and was ready to pay for it (charged separately). The hotel did not really have a free parking space at my arrival, so the staff was sending me from one spot on the parking lot to another, telling me each time I misunderstood and parked wrong. In the result I checked out again and went to a small hotel a few blocks away. I will keep away from these people in future Brgds, Olga

After 10 days cycling on the Danube trail from Budapest, this was a perfect end to the tour. I had only arrived in Romania a couple of hours earlier and my expectations were fairly low. I was pleasantly amazed: cool sophisticated elegance particularly in the room. Only wish I could have stayed for several nights.

For a Continental Hotel is quite down, which is unfortunate. The hotel is situated in a very nice area and obviously had a glory period. But the city is not developing as it should be. Rooms are 3* kind of used, but still OK, clean and well maintained, receptionist is polite, bell boys helpful. There is a restaurant and a bar (which closes at 10), the breakfast is simple with not that many choices.

The hotel located in a very good place. From the rooms to the south you can see the Danub. The problem with this hotel that it is very old and not renovated. when it was built it was for sure very beautiful but, now it necessary to renovate it from the outside and inside as well. The team and the reception were very helpful and kind.

We arrived late in the evening and were desperately looking for a place to stay with our dog. When we arrived at the hotel they immediately gave us rooms and were very polite. The rooms were a bit old but clean and had everything we needed. On the checkout the woman was extremely nice and helped us a lot. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay!

Everything was according expectations only minus is room doesn't have balcony,apart that I ve had, from level 6 ,a magnificent view over Danube river...

Kind staff, amazing view from the windows but overall really outdated. Bathrooms would appreciate a renovation. Nice for nostalgia lovers though!

Very good service, all the staff is very nice and friendly. Food is great at the restaurant. The hotel itself was built in the 1970's, however the interior has been renovated, but you can still see the architectural style of the 70's. Location is great, especially the higher floors with Danube view. The rooms are very clean and all facilities provided are good quality for this price. Highly recommended!

Nice location in the center of the city, easy to reach, free parking, friendly staff, clean room, nice view of the Danube river, pet friendly (a big plus), the room was warm. The only things that need improvement are the doors and the furniture in the room. Overall we were happy with our stay, thanks to the staff for being kind and respecting the Covid-19 measurements. I recommend it.
