A location very strategically located in the city. The rooms are clean and quite quiet. The price is fair for its regime. Weak points, I had reserved a room type but upon arrival I was told that the room was not available, I was offered a another room, one quite ok but not according to the reservation, the owner is generally kind but the malleability is low. It is an ideal location for transit. A strong point, they have a mini kitchen with all the facilities, clean and useful! I still recommend the location, even if not everything is perfect!

I stayed here for one night. Strong points: safe with instructions for use, TV, air conditioning, mosquito repellent, bath and hand towels, wireless, fiscal receipt/invoice issued for payment of accommodation, soap, access to the kitchen, the price for the second night is reduced, the cabin shower with radio included, welcoming, kind and polite hosts, quiet inside the hotel, toilet bowl with seal, LIDL 7-8 minutes' walk away. 🧳🆗 Recomand !!! Acord 5⭐ cu + și nota 10. Am simțit nevoia să scriu această recenzie din două motive: 1. M-am întristat când am citit recenzii răutăcioase și superficiale. 2. Datorită gradului de satisfacție pe care l-am avut. Sunt o persoană care, prin prisma profesiei, am călătorit în delegații și am posibilitatea de a face comparații. Mă voi limita la Drobeta...unde la alte hoteluri cu pretenții nu ai AC, internetul este accesibil dacă stai în hol sub router...,lenjeria de pat ruptă și pătată....și praf pe ea, cu miros greu de vechi. În schimb, aici la Afitos din prima zi ești întâmpinat cu multă bucurie. Ți se explică tot ce este necesar ( cum să încui ușile, cum să utilizezi interfonul..etc) Ceea ce este, însă, important este că ai curățenie deplină. Prosoape curate care miros a proaspăt, lenjeria de pat albă imaculată, (igienizate/călcate.) Hârtie igienică de calitate (mare lucru..! La Continental Severin mai bine te ștergi cu ziare) Internetul de mare viteză. Cablu tv cu toate programele standard. Curățenie impecabilă la duș și în toată baia. Gel de duș cu lavandă. Apă caldă ( mare lucru - hoteluri cu pretenții unde venea cu porția) Bucătărie utilată cu tot ce este necesar: frigider, cuptor cu microunde, filtru ceai/cafea, tacâmuri, pahare, veselă, sare, zahăr, rolă de hârtie...etc. Loc pentru fumat afară !!! ( pentru cei care s-au plâns că mirosea în camere (în camere este interzis) Un alt avantaj este că sunt camere de supraveghere, un mare plus pentru siguranță. Cei care s-au plâns de zgomotul de afară: și la alte hoteluri se aude zgomotul orașului în nopțile de vară ( dar, sunt și camere cu liniște aici!) Pentru liniștea din interior,însă, suntem fiecare responsabili! ( nu e cămin de studenți ) Iar cei care s-au plâns de un fir de praf pe la un colț de cameră, spun așa: cu cât fiecare lasă după el cât mai curat, cu atât gazdele întrețin mai ușor curățenia generală! Iar dacă ceva (orice) vă nemulțumește, adresați-vă gazdelor și se va rezolva! Este un loc unde plătești decent pentru serviciile pentru care de fapt te cazezi: să ai un pat curat, apă caldă, siguranță și pază. Orice alte detalii despre avantajul de a fi cazați aici le obțineți de la gazde! Este un loc unde revin cu drag atunci când am nevoie de un refugiu.

Avoid! I had the big room using booking.com. The bathroom had an immense unbearable smell; Balcony door couldn't close; Loud car noise from street; Paper thin walls; Dirt and hair in all corners; Toilet paper ran out; Owners didn't speak english (their son helped out but I guess I was lucky); No way to enter hostel without ringing the bell; Kitchenette not functional: fridge and coffee machine turned off, unsittable tables, incomplete set of dishes, etc.

room/bathroom very nice with good wifi however staff were rude. We left our phone charger in the room, when we returned to get it we rang the bell and were ignored for 45 minutes. We also called twice telling them we were outside to which two separate people replied 'i do not understand english' and hung up. It's a shame, as they do provide lovely accommodation but the treatment we received has been absolutely unacceptable

I saw their offer on booking, and I wanted to confirm it by phone and ask if they have air conditioning, they said yes, then they asked me if I wanted a reservation and I said yes, I do. when I got there I rang the bell (it also had a camera) the reservation was originally made for 4 people. And they asked me why I was alone, I said that my colleagues were waiting in the car until I paid, etc. They said that they would open the door immediately, a lady came to the door and told me that it was already booked on booking, everything in 5-10 minutes, I am of Roma ethnicity, clean, with the money prepared with absolutely everything. And when they saw that I'm a gypsy, they said it's not available! Avoid this pitiful place if you are of a different ethnicity than Romanian!
