I first walked into the Celt Pub when I was 19 and then again a couple of weeks ago at 27. I know it's only a matter of time until I return again. This is my favorite Irish Pub. Period. With a mix of locals, some tourists (nothing like in Temple Bar), amazing music (usually starting at 9pm), and decent food... you couldn't want for more. Go for the vibe. Just go. Do it. I could sit there all night listening to music and if you tire of the music in one room (are you nuts??) then hop over to one of their other rooms for equally good music. This place just personifies good craic. I wouldn't even care if they didn't serve food. But they do, so grab some fish & chips, a beer, and settle down for a 10/10 night that will doubtless be a highlight of your trip. I sure wish I could spend the evening at the Celt Pub tonight!

Loved the ambience and the food was delicious too. I liked the bread pudding and the chicken and garlic fries. My friends liked the fish and chips and the brownies as well. Only thing that would’ve been better is more gluten free/vegetarian options.

Awesome! A great Irish pub! Tucked in between two other establishments. You enter into a smaller area but the back offers much more room and it is a great set up! Smoking section is in the back too. Of course we had the beef and Guinness Stew and it was really good! The portions are large, so it is quite sufficient! And what else - beer of course! The back bathrooms are new and clean! The staff is super friendly! The decor is awesome! During the day - authentic Irish music, then live music inside. It is not as touristy as other places and we utterly enjoyed it and highly recommend!

The Celt was one of my favorite pubs in Dublin and definitely worth checking out, especially as it isn’t as touristy as some other places. The beginning of the pub is small and cozy though doesn’t offer much seating, but there is another much larger room and bar in the back. We got a drink in the back but ended up moving to the front as that is where the live music plays. I can’t speak for the food though the people next to us said their meals were great. If you don’t eat and then realize you need a quick bite to eat late like we did, I’d recommend Pa Pa Pizzeria down the street.

A place where you can truly enjoy the typical Irish pub atmosphere, with nice music and amazing fish and chips. Service was fast and nice. Totally approved and 100% suggested for a full Irish experience. Don’t forget to order a good pint of Guinness!

What an incredible pub in the heart of Dublin! The wait staff are incredibly personable and will even stop and take your picture if you ask. The food is incredibly delicious and not expensive. Can't say enough good about this pub. Best in Dublin ... don't walk by!

of all the pubs I've seen in Dublin, The Celt is my favourite. It's looks like a proper pub is supposed to look like, and it feels like a second home immediately. We were seated in the second room, where the furniture looks like the combined heritage of at least four generations of landlords. it's almost certainly deliberate and I really enjoyed the style. But it doesn't stop here. Great beer, great food, and excellent service are also part of the experience. Please keep doing what you're doing.

The Celt in Dublin is a true Irish gem. Their fish and chips are a mouthwatering delight, perfectly paired with a pint of Guinness that's poured to perfection. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and authentic Irish flavors make it an unforgettable pub experience. If you're seeking classic comfort food and a taste of Ireland, The Celt is an absolute must-visit.

I had a really good night today, the staff was incredible, the music the environment, the FOOD. Until I get out for a smoke a saw on the top right corner on the smoker area is a cage with two birds (Budgerigar) catching all the fumes and light. please find a better place for your birds and I will change my rate because you are a 5-star place in Dublin.

Awesome pub atmosphere with really good food and a great vibe. There was live music as well. The prices aren’t exactly the cheapest but we decided to splash a bit. Can recommend the Irish Stew and the Bangers & Mash

(Translated by Google) Great atmosphere, live traditional Irish music and great food, plus Irish beers and ciders on tap. The restaurant is very large and also has a smoking room. Perfect if you want to get to the heart of Irish culture (Original) Bellissima atmosfera, musica tradizionale irlandese dal vivo e ottimo cibo, oltre che birre e sidro irlandesi alla spina. Visited on St Patty's day, was far too busy to get food, drink, or see anything so we came back the next day. The next day was steady but not busy. We were able to get a table in the front bar area. The decor and atmosphere were everything I wanted in an Irish pub. It felt old but in good condition. There was Irish folk music playing and some locals singing along from time to time. The waitress was terrible by any standard. She didn't tell us she was our waitress when we sat, she just pointed us to a seat. Didn't take our drink order and got visibly upset when we ordered drinks from the bar. (The bartenders weren't the politest either). Then when she took our order she cashed us out before the food came, not too big a deal we thought at the time. But the wrong food came out and she didn't leave a tab so we had no way to tell she misheard us until it came out. After that we couldn't find her. We decided NOT to have another drink and went elsewhere for drinks and food. Also the back area was closed, which from the pictures what the nicest looking area and where we would have liked to sit. Overall a disappointment.

This place is absolutely magical and super creative! Their food is delicate and delicious, no matters if you want to eat a lot or just have some snacks. Together with a traditional, classic and particular environment, the Celt really manages to capture your attention (and your tongue too!), so I'd definitely recommend it. A must if you want to have fun in Dublin! Also, Angelina rocks!

One of the most enjoyable nights….great music, cold beer and delicious food. The staff were welcoming and fun. We had a blast. So glad this is not our neighborhood bar because we would have a problem of being their every night

You can’t come to Dublin and miss this place. The food is a full immersion with the Irish culture, made fantastically good. The place is beautiful, very iconic. Fantastic music and the staff is OUTSTANDING - friendly, nice and kind. This is an above and beyond and I would come back here every day if I could!

As most Irish pubs it seems small from the front but is a large pub, at the rear is a very nicely appointed dining area for dinner. Live Irish music every night for entertainment.

Celt was recommended for their Bacon a d Cabbage by the Bartender at Ha'Penny Bridge. I enjoyed the family like atmosphere as I sat at the bar. This was the 1st time I ever had Christmas Pudding and it was amazing! The decor is also awesome! Music every night! ❤❤❤🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

I have been there last December and I enjoyed it a lot. I entered alone for dinner, it was very full and I didn't have a reservation but a very nice and kind waitress, quickly found me a good accommodation and I was able to eat a delicious traditional beef.. Then after dinner, the fun continued with traditional Irish live music, beer whiskey.. Unlike many commercial pubs, this is a real typical old school pub where everything is done well (food and service) but you can mainly feel the spirit of joy that involves everyone together.

Without any planning me and my friend went to The Celt located close to the heart of city centre. The vibe inside was nice and not too loud as the way I prefer. We didn’t had a booking however the staff was very nice and she offered us a seat in a nice area which was already booked but for later. We enjoyed the drink and mocktail and special mention about the fries. It was so perfectly cooked, the best I have had in Ireland. The staff keep on checking us if we need anything which again is a good thing. We didn’t stayed longer but we enjoyed our short and nice time in the bar.

A great place to be when you want to experience the real Irish sphere. The place was fully packed and fully booked way in advance but some guys did their best to get us a sitting place. Food was ok but not great. There wasn't much flavour in the fish and chips. Very friendly crowd.

The place looks tiny but amazes you as it opens up in room after room. Large groups can be easily accommodated as there are large tables available. Food is traditional irish and allows a group to try different things. We shared a bunch, including the seafood pies. Food was tasty and not particularly expensive. Staff is kept hopping! But they handled everything with a smile.

Went for a meal and a few drinks, no one approached us so we went to the bar and asked could we order, the girl was extremely rude and ignorant. There was also an issue with us sitting on to have a few drinks after the meal with the same girl. She completely ruined the evening and I would advise anyone to give this place a miss.
