COFFEE HERE! COME GET YOUR COFFEE! No, seriously, get coffee here. Cute little shop that is perfect to stop at when you're out walking your dog (or trying to see dogs).. or if you're just coming home late/early from a crazy night out. A large flat white was very well priced at 3 euro at the time of this post. I'll definitely be returning soon. Thanks again for such a quick and pleasant experience.

We visited today May 22nd. Coffee was great as always. Too bad the guy in the place with the tattoo on his neck was not in the mood to talk to people or give any service. Will be back only for another person in staff.

I adore Nick's. I avoid it anytime I see the manager with tattoos. He is beyond rude and has absolutely no sense of customer service. All the other staff are absolutely amazing. He does not fit in with Nick's vibe. He is not kind to customers; he's been rude to me on multiple occasions. It's a pity that I've got to change my local.

Twice in a row i go there before the closing time of 7 pm and I get sent away because it is closed. Today i went at 18:40 and there were 4 customers inside , and no sign saying it was closed. And with the usual rude way they inform me it is closed and machines are off and unable to sell me a simple espresso. 2 suggestions: 1- stick to your opening and closing hours 2- when you close put a sign and close it properly. Serving 4 customers but not the 5th is slightly discriminatory

Amazing cheap coffe, lovely open spot specially on a sunny day!! Over the weekends the coffee machine is on fire due to a queue of people lining up!! I also love the smell of coffee each time Im passing by!!

Not the first time when I miss the closing time, even if I double check the closing time for Friday(it’s listed for 8 O’clock), I got there 18 minutes to 7 PM and surprise, cleaning already started because they close at 7. So, no coffee beans(wanted grounded) and no coffee for me. All the respect for Nick, but very disappointed regarding staff and customer service. Signed, Just an 8-10 years loyal customer.

With it's "own brand coffee" or is it own 'packaged' coffee. The latte is milky. No real substance to their beans. If you want to advertise for them well this is the place to buy a Nick's Cafe hat or t-shirt.

The BEST coffee in Dublin! From hot drinks to their amazing iced coffees, this place is like no other! Super nice people working here as well. Also, you can bring your own coffee mug to save on waste :) Update after 1 year: the coffee taste has changed to the worse, it's more bland, not the great taste it was before. Also the customer service is just not the same as when the regular staff was there..

We had a lovely coffee and hot chocolate here, quality of the highest order. A real community place, that seems to have a lot of regulars who know the staff well, thats always an excellent sign of a place. Ruth who was serving us was great craic and equally great at her job. These kind of businesses should be supported, will stop when I’m in the area again.

One of my fav coffee spots to visit when I’m in the city. The baristas always remember my order and are so cheerful. Great coffee and definitely LBGTQ+ friendly!

It is a lovely small coffee shop placed on the corner in front of the Dart station in Ranelagh, it does have an amazing costumer service. The coffee, chocolate etc have a reasonable value, muffins and those vegan biscuits seems really tasty. But the way they treat costumers must be really good, you haven't seen yet such a small "store" with so many costumers! But the good thing, they don't waste their time or yours, everyone gets served really quick.

I have been going to Nick's for years. A young lady seemed to get great joy in refusing my cash. Well I always thought the customer was king. Obviously, not here. Won't be back.

Stopped here for a coffee and the barista threw a dash of premade espresso in my cup. I asked her why she didn't use a fresh shot and she said that they're too busy so they pre make the espresso. It literally takes 30 seconds, not to mention that the kiosk serves only coffee and they couldn't be bothered to that! Embarrassing and unacceptable.

Best coffee in Dublin hands down. They don't charge extra for alternative milk, I have never seen that anywhere! Such amazing value for great tasting coffee, I pass many coffee shops just so I can give Nick's my business. They're all about no nonsence, great tasting coffee. It may be a kiosk but their extremely low prices and friendly staff make you forget that - if you just fancy a great cup of coffee, head here!

Although this is a small coffee shop in the heart of Ranelagh, but the quality of coffee served is far better than even big coffee chains in Ireland! Seriously good coffee with polite and smiling staff.Must try everytime you are in Ranelagh.Kudos!

One of my favourite places to get takeaway coffee in Dublin. Staff is great, the queue is never too long and the coffee is just gorgeous! Seriously... Try it.

Hands down the best coffee in Dublin. We are buying the coffee beans there for almost a year now and they never disappoint. Definitely recommend if you call yourself a coffee lover.

Any time I'm in Ranelagh - I go straight to Nick's coffee - the baristas always know what they are doing and I love the taste of his coffee, one of the best in Dublin.

Recently had the pleasure to find this unique and friendly coffee shop. While the staff are great and coffee is lovely I was most taken back by the value. Coffee prices across the country have increased disproportionately and I am use to paying €3.80 for a coffee in the midlands. Having a americano for €2.20 is g value. You would expect prices to be higher based on its location compared to a midlands town in Ireland!

I was raging when I saw the wee shack they used to operate out of was gone, and chuffed when I saw they got a proper brick-and-mortar shop. Great coffee, nice people.

Absolutely ridiculous service! The girl talks with her colleagues nonstop and we are all waiting for service listening to their stories! When it was my turn she didn’t even listen to my order and was very angry when I got my coffee! Never again

I've been going here for years, a true pillar of the Ranelagh community. The service is superb, the staff are always up for a chat and the guy with long hair who works there is HOT!!

Love Nick's coffee - open every day at 7am, brilliant friendly staff and dog friendly.....what's not to love?! Great to have an independent coffee spot in Ranelagh that has a real sense of community about it.

This coffee shop is undeniably charming and cute, but there's a glaring issue: there's nowhere to sit! I enjoyed a delightful cookie and brownie, which were incredibly delicious. However, it's evident that they need to prioritize creating seating space instead of renting out their second room to furniture sellers.

They are not short changing anyone with their opening hours! Good to see a business go that extra mile and stay open late, even on weeknd ! Great coffee and always friendly service.

I stopped by this coffee shop this morning very early. I specifically asked the middle aged lady working if the pastries were fresh and she said yes. But as I walked towards home I looked into the bag and realised the croissants were flat and cold, clearly leftovers from the day before. I won’t be coming back that’s for sure.

Coffee is nice but served multiple times by the very dismissive small Spanish girl. Didn’t seem bothered to be there at all, is just plain rude and short changed me, other staff are not the friendliest to compensate either, was the last straw for me. Regular customer, wont be back.

One of the best hot chocolate I even had in Dublin. Love the creamy texture of the hot chocolate and the richness of it. Would love some extra seating to sit . Quick service and friendly staff there. They also have coffee beans, today ground coffee powered and coffee mugs for sale. There is almost always a queue but it's quick moving.
