Really nice Japanese venue and very reasonably priced, wagu dumplings were amazing. Service was quick and efficient. Definitely recommend booking as it’s quite popular. Very busy but the staff were well able for it. Really nice energetic vibe with tables having fun. Portions are big and designed for sharing so would recommend you order a couple dishes each and share. Would definitely go back

Yamamori has always been my Favourite Restaurant. I love Japanese Food from Sushi, dumplings and Salmon Teriyaki. I always go for my birthday once a year. I have been to both restaurants. They are both clean and the staff are friendly. I would recommend to anyone who loves Japanese food! Their drinks are great too!

Dinner for 2 with a bill of €107 including a 12.5% tip. Firstly, according to the menu, tables of 4 and over should receive the tip on the bill, but for some reason it was on our bill. Service was not bad (pretty good actually), but adding that tip on the bill by default is bad faith since not everyone would want to confront them about it to be removed (like my wife). That aside, the food was good. I don't recommend is the tempura calamari. It was bland and a little chewy. The coconut brownie dessert was dry and not rich at all. I also have to note, the portions are kind of small for the price. For those that are concerned about it, a full restaurant is also fairly noisey. I'd probably go back, but I do think there are other Japanese restaurants I'd go to over it in Dublin.

Great place, the service was pleasant, and the food was great (great amount and flavour). The gyozas were amazing and the Green Tea noodles were the highlights of the meal, the Curry Tonkatsu Chicken was also delicious. I was not that impressed by the sushi but the balance between prize and quantity was fine. We didn't try the desserts because we were really full. One of my friends took his ramen home because he was unable to finish it, the flavour intensified once eaten at home.

I wish I could remember the names of all the dishes we tried (so sorry lol), but the pork plate next to the gyoza in the picture was delicious!! It was the best thing we had here but everything was good quality and left us super full and satisfied. I would probably try another sushi roll next time (just because it was good so I expect the other specialty rolls to be good as well) or opt out because it was definitely a huge portion. And our server was such a nice lady! She was so animated and friendly, we thought she was the sweetest.

If I could rename this fabulous restaurant I’d call it yumi mori 🤔😊 The food is fabulous- love the choice, great but simply menu to choose from. The flavours are well balanced in each dish. The staff go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your Japanese experience- always ready to offer advice with choices and which dish compliments the other. It’s a busy restaurant so make sure you don’t miss out - ensure you book a table. Cost is reasonable when you take into consideration not only the quality of food but the choice.

The sushi at the restaurant was delicious, and I enjoyed the other dishes as well, being a sushi enthusiast. However, the sushi pieces were quite large, making it difficult to eat in one bite. The staff was courteous and attentive. Since we were a large group, a service charge was added, making the total cost a bit steep. Unfortunately, there was no parking nearby, so we had to park a little further away; it's ideal for those walking or taking a taxi. The establishment is very welcoming and great for family gatherings.

Busy, vibrant and warm. Fast service and accommodating staff. Very reasonably priced. Our group spent around €50 a head on a main, drink and dessert each. I have eaten here a lot over at least the last 15 years and it has not disappointed. I also order delivery from the quays restaurant and it's similar quality, although you'd miss the aesthetics of the presentation and the bustle of the locations.

Food was great! The ambience and the first couple of servers were super. The last server was not the best though, came off a bit rude and passive aggressive which constantly made me nervous when he came around. But all in all a great night and place!

Make a booking, they're always full! Absolutely lovely environment inside and the food is always gorgeous. Do try the lemonades. The gyōza is the best I've had in Dublin.

Its great for when you're looking to branch out of your traditional Chinese takeaway. Food's well priced, staff is quick. Perhaps the sushi could be a little bit better but that's no their main focus. Yamamori South or North either way its worth a visit.

Very slow and very differing quality in the menu. We waited 25 minutes for our order. The first 3 plates were good, but not great. The black cod was too raw. The smoked salmon nigiri was very good (the rice was warm and the fish “dissolves” in the mouth). The ebi tempura with black rice was okay. The temakis were both horrible. Stiff rice and very cold fish. The small sushi plate disappointing as well.

The bento boxes were okay but rice was very packed which isn’t true to the Japanese way of serving. However drink selection made it passable. Great umeboshi sake!

pros: the food is really nice, the decor is nice, the sushi pieces are HUGE. and they showed a Japanese black and white film, which was cool, never been in a restaurant that showed movies before. cons: they only give you a certain amount of time at the table, which made me feel stressed because I'm in a rush to finish eating on time. the cocktails are tiny. it's really expensive despite not exactly being fine dining. and the expensive teppan salmon teriyaki I got, while tasty, did not taste Japanese at all despite the description on the menu. it tasted similar to the salmon darne and veg my mother made growing up. it was also a paltry portion despite being one of the most expensive mains. wasn't originally planning on getting dessert but I had to as I was still hungry afterwards (I'm glad I did, as the kuro kuma pudding ended up being my favourite part of the meal). I'd go back again. probably earlier on a weekday next time though. the first time I went it was super crowded and noisy to the point I could barely hear what my friend was telling me. definitely choose a quieter time to go.

The vegetable savoury rice (without egg) is high up on my recommendation for this place. Their miso soup is the nicest i have tried in a long time. I love coming here.

Great food and staff. Perfect for a casual lunch or nice evening meal. I like the old japanese movies or random cartoons (muted) shown via a projector on the wall. Japanese beer on tap is a plus, a lot of places only have bottles.

Phenomenal friendly Japanese staff and waiters and waitresses. The food l ordered were Cha Han with miso soup, delicious. Black rice is recommended cos it is good for you. I'm a regular there. Reasonable price in the afternoon.

I'm from the Seattle area in the states. Based on the lychee drink and chicken miso ramen. Pros: lychee drink had 4 lychee in it, great drink. The chicken broth and egg were well done, and tasted great. Cons: The noodles were clumped together and had a poor texture. Maybe try buying some quality ramen noodles, or work on your recipe/ cooking method. The chicken was overcooked. The bokchoy and seaweed were all in one piece, so DIY cutting with chopsticks to get it mixed 🤷🏼

It's ok,small portions and overpriced in my opinion, left hungry in the end, but beer is really nice! Friendly service but food was let down.

i ordered the udon noodles cause i know this is one of the thickest noodles and i really enjoy it. however, in this restaurant it's a thin noodle, so i don't understand why they sell it as udon. overall the taste was really good which is the only reason why i'm giving 2 stars, because even the service was rather bad. at the beginning the waitress was very nice, but when we had to pay they charged me double even tho i insisted i had already paid. i had to talk to the manager and ask for a refund. honestly i'm not going back, there are a lot of other asian restaurants in the area that i believe are better.

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
