I am a gyn member and go everyday by bike to the gym. Unfortunately my bike got stolen in front of the main entrance to the gym. The bike was locked in the corresponding bicycle parking rack. I asked for them to implement measures to protect their members but they told me it was not their responsibility what happened with the customer bike, I am totally disappointed because I now need to walk to the gym ( and is not close) because I feel very unsafe to leave my new bike again. Unfortunately I paid a year membership and I will for sure not renew it.

The gym equipment is great( when working, on and off equipment out off order buckets for dripping water in everywhere random location ) . The opening hrs option is good. The method of programming is a disaster. i. e. Started a new program and did my workout session 1 hr before closing time but since they ONLY work via the app and not paper program if you missed out on exercise due to closing hours or a queue on a machine you need to wait a few days till if pop up again unless you print screenshot it. They force you to none refundable membership. If you have no holidays plan go-ahead for a year or an unexpected injury you lose a month or 3 of your membership due to your obligations just because the rate on a year is cheaper than renewing every 3 months rate. The trainer I was introduced to was efficient but he is limited due to the resources of the facilities as a person who been done a year change in workout session progress I can say this place has potential but a few things in to change. 1. Contract enforcement 2. App communication 3. Lower music a bit down yes gyms tend to put music on a bit louder than the ordinary but this feels like a club more than a gym with the game changes of this. This place will have much better attention and will improve the quality of people's lifestyle when workingout.

It's a great gym considering price and location. Has lots of rack space and machines. Be careful leaving anything valuable in the locker room as there's thiefs breaking locks stealing even dirty shoes. Overall much much better than energie fitness.

Great atmosphere, great people, classes are very well prepared and entertaining. It is like a day time club: into the groove, the music and/of the instructor are making you move, forgetting about yesterday and tomorrow. The right place for those who know that life is short but fun is timeless. Engage your core and seize the day!

Good gym! But gosh they literally BLAST the music during busy times. I would appreciate if volume could be turn down just a tad bit so I can at least hear the music in my earphones

The pool has been closed since the pandemic and has not reopened yet. When some equipment is broken, it sometimes takes months to get it repaired. It's leaking from the roof and instead of fixing it, they put buckets in it. They haven't been able to repair the scale for several weeks and it's probably a matter of replacing the battery. Great Equipment, huge choice of machines, very affordable membership and Friendly staff. Changing Rooms and toilet facilities falling apart, smell of sewage everywhere within these rooms. The ventilation not working is causing huge amounts of mould in the ceiling tiles, shower walls etc. Endless amounts of leaks while coming into the winter throughout the gym. Some of the equipment is not maintained or fixed when broken. I'm sure the majority of people would be happy to pay a small increase on membership if these issues were addressed.

Great fitness and leisure centre, with a mini spa including jacuzzi, sauna and steam cabin. lot of great personal trainers. Good prices and great atmosphere.

Very degrading facility. I had purchased my membership and planed to use it while on crutches as physiotherapy. I brought my own small mesh bag with supplies including a water bottle and antiseptic wipes to clean equipment. They refused me entry due to this bag and told me that I can only enter the gym if I put the bag and carry the things in my arms(which I cannot do due to my current mobility). I left the gym as I cannot physically carry my stuff and asked to freeze my membership. I asked the receptionist if there is something they could do for me and was told to pretty much come back when I was capable of carrying my stuff. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO OUTRIGHT TELL ME THAT I AM NOT READY TO USE THE GYM. How do they know what I am and am not ready to do. They told me that I do not need the gym. This implied that I do not need physiotherapy for my leg. This means that apparently they know better than me what must be done for my medical condition. I DO NOT recommend this facility. Unless you want to experience degrading treatment and medical advice from some random person behind the counter. P.s I have been a member ( on and off) for at least the past 6 years. After this treatment, I don't think I'm going to spend my money here ever again.

The gym is of a decent quality and they've definitely adapted well to COVID by putting in extra machines where the pool used to be. There are some issues with cleanliness generally - the men's changing rooms always smell funny like there is a problem with drainage or something. A couple of times the showers in there have actually smelled like sewage, but that's a rare enough occasion. I think for the price of 30€ a month it's fairly hard to complain about that though, it's a good deal. My main issue is the reception staff at the gym - some of them are definitely nice, but there are a few of them who are really dismissive and rude. It's an odd experience to be honest. It's terrible that you'd feel you want to avoid the staff of an establishment that you're paying to be a member of just because they're so rude and unhelpful. What a shame. The gym is almost a really great gym, but it is certainly let down by some of its staff.

Great gym, loads of equipment and huge range of classes. Membership includes all classes which is great. Particularly the strength focused ones if you're not interested if Cardio/HIIT sessions. They have great weight lifting options like Strength on Wednesdays and other Power classes available. The instructors are brilliant, even if you're a beginner and looking to improve. Would recommend!

Get what you pay for. Its cheap. Gents changing rooms are never really clean, it has that weird damp smell. Good machines but can be very busy. Weights are left everywhere, they aren't good at fixing problems. The water fountain has been broken for nearly a year. The Wifi doesn't really work which is annoying as it is underground and their is no regular 4G signal. Steam room is never really filled with steam. 30 quid a month is hard to argue with. I think they have a happy enough core of paying customers. They don't feel the need to improve or invest in the facilities.

I am not changing my flat just because of this gym, its everything you would wish for in terms of training. There is a lot of space and the staff is very helpful, my only remark is that many clients seem to miss the point of keeping the facility clean and tidy, which saddens me a lot considering how nice the staff is. This gym one of the best in Dublin and I wish some clients were more grateful to be able to train here.

I have been going in this gym almost 3 months. Facilities are not the best but it’s fine. You can use all machines in the morning. Not so busy. At the reception, the attitude is rude and bad, as I have experienced once again. Trainer’s staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. But thank you Christian Tales for classes. He is very nice, friendly and helpful. I don’t recommend this gym. In Dublin there are much better gyms. Unfortunately I’m not going to renew membership the next months.

Good: + Good value for money + Fitness classes are great + Staff can give personalised training plans and show how to use all the machines + Staff are usually friendly + A lot of equipment was upgraded and replaced recently +Steam Room, sauna and jacuzzi Bad: - The gym is extremely busy between 5 and 9, so it can be impossible to complete a full workout during those times, and you need to run to equipment, or rush to finish a set, before someone else gets there - Music is always blasting super loud which makes it hard to actually hear the music in your own earphones - Registration for classes can fill up quickly, so you usually have to sign up the minute registration opens or you don't get a spot - No swimming pool anymore

Best gym in Dublin City. I have been going to herberton for 4 years now. Can’t think of changing the gym ever if I am staying in Dublin.

It's a great gym with lots of equipment, but many of the weights are very heavy and not enough lighter weights. The staff are nice. I would also like some more yoga classes.

My local gym. Membership prices very reasonable. Gym very well equipped with tonnes of machines and free weights. Can be very busy at peak time but during the day is very quiet for to sheer size of gym. Pool and other leisure facilities also good.

Going to herberton gym for the past four years. I love this place , great gum, sauna, pool , everything you need for a great time to zone out and have some you time. The classes are fab!!! Soo many to chose from.

Pro: the wide range of machines. Cons after paying in full for two consecutive years: 1. The smell, no matter where you are inside the facility there's this smell of damp, sweat and mold, probably it's hard to manage it since it's underground but it's unacceptable considering this is a service you pay for. 2. You'll waste at least 1 hour searching for equipment, either the staff doesn't enforce the policies or the members don't respect them and no membership is being revoked after not respecting the basic instructions that should benefit all. Even the PTs regularly leave the equipment scattered around. 3. A friend of mine caught staph after going to this gym regularly, imagine having to take an antibiotic to take care of yourself because either people don't clean the machines or are too dirty to be out and about in a public space. 4. Cable machines are always broken because some haven't learned to carefully do the last rep, so strong to lift more than their whole body weight but not strong enough to actually control it. 5. The biggest dumbbells are always scattered around the floor for some reason, again strong enough to grunt their way through each set not smart or polite enough to rerack them. 6. The sauna is always dirty, empty bottles littering the floor, and again even if it's written everywhere that no water should be poured on the stones they will still do it, the phones are not allowed in this space and yet they're still using them in this space. 7. Ventilation is a big issue here apparently some people smoke right next to them from the ground floor and while you're focused on breathing you'll be attacked not only by the smell I've mentioned above but also by the smoke coming from outside, and of course nothing is done to stop any of this. The staff is definitely not the one to be held completely accountable for the constant mess, but the members are the worst, this is not a gym it's where common sense, respect and manners go to die.

Good gym. plenty of exercise machines and space. Cleanliness needs to be improved in changing rooms and especially In sauna area as it's getting worse and unhygienic.
