Love this bar! Old wood everywhere. Nooks and crannies to sit at. Dark, ambient and warm atmosphere. Buzzing after work but still good seating. I really wanted to have a blast at the booze in the island in the middle of the bar - chocked with bottles of booze. Great service - staff checking if you needed anything. Some in the company got food which looked great! Super Dublin bar!

Stopped in here for lunch while visiting Dublin and was treated to a great meal, great service, and an awesome atmosphere. Would love to go back and see how fun it is in the evening.

Loved the vibe of this place. It feels really authentic. Had a drink while waiting for a friend, the staff was friendly. That's going to be a weird thing to say but you have to go to the toilet. They are so nice! It feels like you are going back in time. You should definitely check out this pub!

The best wings I have ever tried !!! My girlfriend treated me to going to Dublin for my birthday in January and we stayed in the hotel right next to The Drunken horse , after we checked into the hotel we thought we would have a few drinks at the pub next door which was the the drunken horse , I had seen the chicken wings online and needed to try them. Let me say they were the best with that u had ever tired , not even joking and the small size was in fact perfect for two and the drinks offered were amazing , later we return to the outside areas with a cigar and spent the rest of our great holiday outside the pub , We both wish we could return tomorrow , thank you for the great time , can’t wait to go again !!!

I absolutely loved this pub. On a short three night stay in Dublin I went there ... 3 nights. All because of Emma what a sympathetic barmaid excellent attitude, awesome cocktails and a proper public relations to the place! She's part of the soul of this pub. Be sure to visit, go around all those stairs in the maze that this pub is, you won't regret it!

I loved this pub in Dublin. It was very quirky, had lots of interesting rooms. Even the ladies toilet was interesting. They serve great Guinness too (of course). I liked that it had history. It got a big thumbs up from me.

It was our favorite bar in Dublin, heck Ireland and we went all over that island and in many bars and taverns. Johnny was amazing to talk to and was so welcoming. He was the main reason we kept going back.

Great place to have a pint, watch sporting events and catch up with friends. Much larger than it first appearance. Many places to find a table in multiple rooms. Food is good. Atmosphere is excellent.

We stopped in because it was very close to our hotel. We found the place very ordinary. The food was okay but not great - there was a large selection. It was not very crowded but it did seem to take a long time for the food to arrive. The beer came very quickly. Prices were in line with what we had been paying. Nothing bad here just not special either.

Energetic atmosphere and great service! Walking distance (crawling distance) from the Camden Court where we were in for the night. Good cookin' and cold pints satisfied our group of 12. Comfortable seating friendly staff. We will be back!

Probably best to avoid The Bleeding Horse if you are following covid 19 guidance for July 2020. Don't bother booking a table or ordering food as you can drink freely. The menu online is also a waste of time, expecting the staff to have a visor or a mask isn't happening either. Though if you do order food it is excellent quality, the reason for my 2 stars.

This place is an amazing experience! Our hotel was right across the street and I’m so happy we decided to go! The building, it’s history it is just amazing! Their food was delicious! New York burger with goat cheese is just massive and very tasty! My friend had a cheesy fries which been very nice just on the bottom there was some strange cheesy sauce ( a bit tasteless some salt could help) otherwise it tasted like something you pour over Mac n’ Cheese. But the rest was just perfect experience! Definitely will come back next time when visiting Dublin.

They charged me for an extra drink, I didn’t notice as it wasn’t my dime and I had had a few. My fault, but pay attention. They were super busy and still had fast service. Great food great drinks great atmosphere. Taking off a star for the extra drink

Good if you only want to go for drinks and watch games casually. Screens only play game WITHOUT commentary. Compact space without much distancing.

This is a really great pub. Lots of nooks and crannies and small hidden areas for a quiet drink. Really cosy atmosphere and very attentive staff. Table service for food and drinks. TVs in each corner so you never miss the match either. Well located 5 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Highly recommended for food or drinks. Great place.

Cool place! The Upper floor consist of many small rooms and hooks. Two larger bars downstairs. The place has lots of charm and atmosphere. We ate nachos and chicken tenders, perfect pub grub. Good Guinness aswell.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try this famous "Fish and Chips" and we found this place. The food is incredibly good and finally a coffee as God commands. We are Italian and it was truly a pleasure to have experienced good food and welcoming service. I love The Bleeding Horse and truly recommend it. I gave 4 stars out of 5 to the environment because some employees were doing a lot and others were behind the counter chatting. I hope the waitresses got the tip.

If you think about an Irish pub, The bleeding horse it’s exactly the one. Gorgeous heritage and feel the vibes of being into a amazing place, with brilliant service and great food. 3 words. The best one! A place to call home. Good spot to watch football match on weekend. Staff well prepared and always smiling. Love it👏💫

Great Pub with seatings everywhere. Many screens around also to watch your favorite match on TV on Sky Sports. They even were so kind to put on the match we wanted to watch. Table service by the staff is also very much appreciated so no queuing needed at the bar. The place has cool decorations and is very central. Would definitely recommend it. We had nachos and chicken tenders with fries to share with a pint. Was really good & fast too. Great Pub.

I love the way this pub was built. Wander around once inside, including the upstairs. The main area at the bar and entrance is nice but there are also some private nooks and crannies to sit in for quiet conversation. Great selection of beers.

Met a few friends for a Christmas drink. First time in the place. It was quiet for the time of year. Good place for a pint. Lots of room. Staff were friendly and polite. Service was efficient. It's easily accessible from the city centre. Good place to go for a pint and quiet chat midweek.

It is ridiculous to have to spend 9 euro per person for food. It's absurd that this is a must. You will lose your customers while trying to make a profit. Stop acting like a 3rd class world country restaurant. This is not a restaurant. This is pub.

  • 4/5 Dan O. 5 years ago on Google
Nice bar for an afternoon game. Decent food, lots of screens, good atmosphere. Nachos are huge. Breakfast looked decent. Staff are friendly if a little eager but it was early.

This is a great pub in so many ways. The place is fairly big and has many quirky books and crannies all over the place. The staff is excellent, as was the live music act. Also came to watch some soccer and there was a great atmosphere. This became our favourite pub during our visit to Dublin.

What an amazing pub situated in the heart of Dublin, we watched the 6 nations Rugby match here and the atmosphere was magnificent, the look and feel of this pub is nothing I've ever seen before with hidden alcoves and small tables nestled away, this is truly a remarkable pub which oozes Irish charm and character and will certainly be coming back when the occasion calls.

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets.
