    I just had an extremely weak respond in regards to my complains. The lady who called me from their store was very rude and unpleasant. She didn't let me speak and she was talking over me. Simply they did nothing to resolve my issue. Truly disappointing experience! Don't go there. Very poor experience with the Specsavers at Santry Omni. If I could I wouldn't give them a half of the star. I bought a pair of glasses in January in their Santry store. After 5 months a part of the metal start disconnecting from the frame. My husband went in today to get them fix and they refused to fix them and they said that the warranty is only for 3 months!What a poor service. They offered him 25% off on a new frames which means we have to spend money again in their store. What kind of after care is that! Very disappointing service. I will definitely do not recommend shopping with specsavers. Looks like they don't care about their customers.

    I've used Specsavers for a number of years now, God knows why as each visit was an ordeal. You were guaranteed to spend an hour minimum every visit mainly due to their "system". My first real problem was a few years ago when I was prescribed new reading glasses. When I collected them it was immediately obvious that there was a problem. Three visits later while being told that there was nothing wrong they discovered that the person making up the prescription misread one of the numbers. My latest visit was the last straw. I was told that even though there was a minimal change I would benefit from new glasses. I opted for distance glasses and found that I could not see with them, having to revert to my old prescription. I was told to wear them for a couple of weeks and my eyes would get used to them. This seems to be a common response. Three weeks later and no improvement they still continued to insist that they got it right. €50 for a test if I recall correctly and a further amount for a useless pair of glasses which are now in a drawer. Never again !! Having viewed the bog standard reply from Specsavers where they say that they will reply within 48 hours, well they don't!. I have heard nothing back since the review was first published over a month ago!. The response to complaints is far different to that to 5 star reviews (Yes hard as it is to believe there are a few) where words like "Great" "Amazing" etc. are used. I'm sure that they will try to blame Covid on the lack of response somehow.

    Lovely staff (especially those out front). However, I had 2 issues with my new glasses. Prescription glasses gave me migraines even after 5 days (very slight change in prescription) and I felt slightly disoriented at times. Prescription sunglasses I asked for in the darkest shade and I ended up having to drive with my normal glasses on a sunny morning as they didn't make any difference with the sun. I asked for a refund which I only got for the frames and lenses and not the eye test, even though it's clear they did something wrong. €50 down now, not to mention the time wasted in store. Now after going elsewhere I was given a different prescription which I have adjusted to perfectly, with no issues!

    The service in this shop is amazing. Shauna was attentive, friendly and really took her time out to help us with our needs and concerns. It definitely makes the experience more relaxed, knowing your being looked after by people with good knowledge and experience. Thank you Shauna.

    Taking my business elsewhere going forward. I have in the past gotten my own glasses here and my daughters glasses and being a customer for many years. This morning I went in to look at prescription sunglasses for driving, when i walked in a blonde haired lady came up to me and I said i just wanted to have a look at the sunglasses. She kept saying she needed to take my details and this confused me as I said i wanted to look first.I told her this and she basically said it didn't matter she needed my details. She got me to write my name and date of birth on a piece of paper and went off. I had only tried on one pair of glasses when she came back and first thing she told me was you haven't had an eye test in two years. I said yes i know this i'm due an eye test, to which she replied very abruptly you should of had one in 2021. I told her again i just want to look first and see if i can find some glasses i like . She left and at this stage I was so uncomfortable within the store I left. In order for your customers to figure out what they want they need to be allowed browse and I would also advise you to not treat people like an inconvenience as because I hadn't already found the glasses I wanted to buy thats what I felt like. This lady was very abrupt and unfriendly. Not once did she ask me could she help me pick out a pair, or invite me to book an other eye test , only to tell me what i should of done.It's obvious as soon as you walk into the store your number one priority is making the sale then and there and it's not the customer. The optician's next door is much more customer focused and I'll be going to them going forward for mine and my daughters glasses.

    I was very impressed by the standard of service throughout the store. The optician (Paul - I think) was an absolute gentleman. I went in with a worry from a recent test and got a very thorough examination and the reassurance I was looking for. I left feeling happy and content.

    Very friendly staff, we had quite the laugh while I purchased reading glasses which I use for reading. Despite the friendly staff and the aforementioned high quality reading glasses that I have been using to read various texts and tomes, it was way, WAY too cold in the shop. Please try to fix this problem before my next visit when I will presumably need to replace my reading glasses (which I mentioned before I will be using for reading)

Toni went above and beyond to deal with me, I cannot thank her enough for all she done! Amazing lady that made my selection of glasses and dealing with specsavers so much easier!     The newly refurbished shop space is welcoming and nice to be in. I went yesterday at a quiet time during the day for a routine eye test and was seen to quickly for both the first part of the test and the examination part. The staff was professional and friendly from the get go and I had a great experience with Marissa who performed the exam. She was professional, approachable and friendly. She was also very thorough in her exam which made me feel well looked after. Well done team!

    I had an appointment this week for an eyetest and to get new glasses. I arrived on time and my details were taken straight away. I was then quickly brought in for the first part of the test I did however have a 30 min wait before I seen the actual optician. There appeared to be only one lady working. By the time I was called there was three people after me. This was a bit annoying but everything else was fine The test itself was quite fast and the optician was nice. The best part of the appointment was the lovely girl Toni who looked after me and went through everything once I had picked out the glasses I wanted. She was very professional and knew her stuff. They're lucky to have her. Nothing was too much of a problem

    I had to go today cause I had an issue with my glass a lovely girl called Tonie helped me she was so professional and kind and made my problem disappear and made me laugh were I was nearly crying before hand.     1 week ago, I had my eyes checked by Aishling. Very pleasant and professional in her job. Gave my eyes a good bill of health (important because of diabetes), she did recommend that I wear glasses for reading and computer work. I then met and spoke with Billiana, she helped me pick frames for my glasses and like Ashling, she was very diligent in her duties. She took payment and gave me a return appointment for today. I was greeted by Joan when I arrived . Very welcoming and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable as I tried on my new glasses. An absolute pleasure to fo business with.

    I went to fix my glasses cause they needed to be tighter. The Indian girl with glasses “fixed them “ by bending them in a childish way , saying they were right. As I spent several money for them. But I insisted saying they were fixed by bending them and not straighten . At the end she fixed them as I said and she didn’t even smile or apologied! She is not willing to work. If you don’t like your job just quit.. a client need to be felt welcome. Incompetent !!!

    I booked an appointment for my son in Specsavers Omni Santry, as my son has Aspergers, the staff were very understanding and reassuring, I also found the staff very respectful. We went back to collect his glasses today and were greeted by Joan, she was so kind and complementive he was extremely happy, I found myself telling Joan that I was looking for new sun glasses, so she arranged an eye test for me, she also helped me with picking out suitable frames I found comfortable. I then got to meet Erna who helped with the lens colours. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend this branch. Joan and Erna are clearly passionate about their job and give a great service to their customers.

    Horrible experience. Waited for an hour to be seen by optician even if i had an appointment. Very poor management of the store. Staff completely ignoring all customers, after half an hour of waiting (basically examination should have been finished by that time) asked staff what's happening?!? Then was invited for pre-tests. Then another half an hour wait. Didn't receive the prescription signed by optician, they claimed it's being uploaded in the system and to come back another day. So, Specsavers, i'm asking YOU: how much more time of my life you want to waste? Advising everyone to go to any of their competitors (unless of course you want to be treated like ****) !!!

    They didn't repair glasses when lockdown was on but they could do eye tests for €55 and sell glasses. Their computers keep going down when they try to make an appointment for you so they tell you to do it yourself at home. They only do the 2 for the price of 1 on glasses over €89. You could be standing for ages waiting for them to either help you or come back to you and this is after you go through the nightmare of trying to get an appointment. I have after many years with them decided to go somewhere else. It is clear to me they are all about the money and not interested in customer service.

    Have been using Specsavers, Santry for many years now. Staff very helpful both during eye exams and picking frames. Generally go for metal frame glasses but this time decided to try the plastic frames and I have to say they are very comfortable. Staff were very patient and reassuring on styles to suit the shape of my face ensuring they were also suitable for my prescription.

    Great experience in Specsavers Omni Park. Staff were so friendly and lovely atmosphere. Ailbhe and Lisa were wonderful doing the eye test and really took time to do a thorough examination. I’ve always struggled to find frames to suit me but Toni was spot on with her recommendations. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

    My mother was in your store recently and she got 2 pairs of varifocals with you.I want to thank your managers Joan and Sabrina for looking after her. Even though my mother struggled with language, Joan made her feel welcomed and comfortable. I need to mention Biljana who helped my mother pick 2 sets of glasses, she was so patient with her and gave her an honest opinion and took perfect measurements for her new set of varifocals. My mother finally can see distance and reading! Big thanks to the lab team as well who made glasses in less than 14 days, your team sure is amazing. Thank you Specsavers, you never disappoint and your customer service is outstanding! I'll recommend you to everyone.

    The staff in Specsavers are excellent, unfortunately the frames I chose are very flimsy, Levi. I would have thought that brand would be more robust. The French Connection frames are much stronger. People should be aware the arms of frames generally cannot be repaired as previous frames. Overall the service Specsavers provide is excellent

    I've been using Specsavers for a long time and it's really good optics, despite the fact that there was a problem with one of my glasses, but they solved it very quickly and now everything is great. Patricia was very helpful in choosing the frames, very patient, polite and very super friendly, I am very happy with the staff working here.
