The flat or the small room I lived in for 4 months was equipped with old or at least wonky and cheap furniture. The mattress was so old that I had to bought a topper not to feel the spring core during nights. ISA staff made visits in the flat almost every week and they just entered the flat (sometimes also our rooms), even without writing an email to us that they are going to come. I would expect at least a little privacy for this huge amount of money paid every week/month. Even after complaining nothing changed. The kitchen equipment was also very old and not really fully working. The whole flat was laid out with carpet. Not very hygienic :/ If I'd search again for a room I would go for a accommodation called `Uninestยด with newly build houses and not for ISA again.

My review will only concern the Carman's Hall flat in which I lived 6 months. To be clear, I won't recommend it to anyone. Never. It's really expensive and close to a rat hole. This flat is filled with old equipments that are always half broken. You can't even walk inside without a pair of shoes except if you want to walk on tiny screws that are maintaining the old and dirty carpet. Being 5 in this tiny flat also means that you will struggle to have a hot shower as the water heater is ridiculously small. The painting, the carpet, the sofa and so on are failing into pieces. The place obviously needs a complete refurbishment that won't be done. All ISA does is keeping it "running". You will have also to obey to some rules that are complete non-sense when you're renting a flat and have an agreement with your flatmates. For instance, no guess allowed after 11pm meaning that you won't be able to host one of your friend even for one night. Moreover, they will come often to check the flat without preventing you and will charged you penalties (fines) if you disobey their rules or don't attend their "high expectations". Another example, they won't tolerate the fact that you put your clothes to dry in the living room. Also, once you've paid for your stay, don't expect to be able to leave it sooner and getting your money back. They won't do it as they know we're mostly foreigners. Only positive aspect of this experience, my flatmates were really cool and it was a pleasure to meet them and to spend time with them. But I can't stop thinking of the "what if they hadn't been that cool". If really you have no option, book the flat only for 2 weeks in order to have time to find a good one. You will have no difficulties in finding something better and cheaper.

I lived in one of the apartments that belongs to Isa accommodation. The only positive thing is that was all new and well furnished. However, i can say that i have had bad experiences there because we complained for the heater in the kitchen never fixed it, even though we asked a lot of times to repair it seeing as it was cold during the winter. They told that electricity was included in the rent but if we exceeded we had to pay the extra ( such as 10 euro per week), which is unfair because the only personal thing i had in my room was the heater and i used a lot when it was cold, is it a fault? of course not. After i left the house, they charged me 80 euro for the heater without telling me anything (they could at least tell me that I was using more electricity than I had to months ago), but never happened. In fact, I have just found out when i received a part of the deposit. Another thing is that the building had a lift that started working only in March (i arrived in october) and no one told us when they fixed it, although we requested thousand times. They try in every way to take it advantage of it because the money we give are never enough for them. I also asked to fix a door next to my room because made noise but no one has been interested to solve the problem. In other words, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION, THERE ARE OTHER BETTER APARTMENTS THAN THESE WHERE THEY ARE HONEST AND DON'T STEAL MONEY.

It is heartbreaking for me to say it because I have had incredible flatmates but I DONT RECOMMEND ISA. Why not? Firstly, The prices are very high if compared with other residences. For example, a twin room with Isa is only 40 euros less per month than a PRIVATE room in STUDENT ROOM DUBLIN. The second one also includes cleaning service twice a week. Secondly, I have some friends having problems with ISA because their contract ended on May and ISA has not yet refunded their deposit, which was supposed to be transferred at the end of May (2 months ago) Thirdly, they donโ€™t care about the students' situation, only about the money. After the coronavirus outbreak international students were forced to leave Ireland, and this big company refused to refund the part of the money corresponding to the period we wonโ€™t be here. On the other hand, other student residences such as STUDENT ROOM DUBLIN or KAVANAGH COURT will be refunding the money because they understand that some families are facing a difficult economic time and it is selfish and unfair to profit from a service that the client won't be using (we will be paying for the rent, electricity, water, WiFi). ISA is a big company that can deal with the weekly/monthly refund in order to help students, but the only solution that they propose is the refund of the deposit while the room becomes available once again for someone else (in other words, two tenants will be paying for the same accommodation while only one is able to actually live in it). They'll be making profit out of this dreadful situation. This is unfair! I would have really appreciated it if ISA could have refunded the amount corresponding to the service that we wonโ€™t be using and that we've paid for. But the main thing that made me write this comment is that they havenโ€™t refunded the deposit to people that really need the money after the contract ended 2 moths ago. Best regards

I have been living in Blackhall Green for about a month now. The heater wasn't working properly from the beginning, and for the last two weeks it stopped working completely. My room is freezing cold. I have contacted maintenance multiple times, but the reaction time is very slow (a few days at least) and if they reply it takes some days for anything to be done. The fridge in my apartment was broken, and we had to go four days without a fridge before it was replaced. We only have a small drying rack that can barely fit a load of laundry. We have been told that we would get a bigger one, but that hasn't happened in over four weeks. The water is often cold and the water pressure in the showers is very low as well. The room is very small, the closest can't fit all of my clothes, the desk is just big enough to out a laptop on it and the bed is squeaky all the time. Overall, I'm really disappointed by the quality delivered for the amount of money I'm paying.

Accommodations are ok but not for the price. Furthermore, the support from the office is very poor and the issued address proofs are invalid. โ‚ฌ 850 wasted on the work & travel agency

I rented a shared room with a friend in ISA Accommodation from January until May 2023. It was the 20C in Pinewood, and since we had several problems in the house, I want to leave this as a warning. 1. The house was for ~9 people and there was only one fridge. I know that other houses rented by the same company with the same amount of people have 2 fridges. Of course, the fridge didn't have enough space, and we ended up dealing with grocery shopping every 3-4 days, to fit our food. 2. The room was dirty when we got the keys. The toilet seat was old, some lightbulbs in the room were damaged, there were spider's nets everywhere in the house, and the kitchen tools not enough for 9 people. After one or two months of complaining, these issues were fixed. 3. The manager, Sam, was really rude when I asked a proper justification to not receive another fridge. She raised her voice in the phone, gaslighted me telling me that the other houses only had one fridge too as far as she knew and that she never got a complaint about it before (when the other flatmates had already sent emails in the past regarding the same topic). Not a pleasant experience. 4. The heating and the boiler stopped working mid-April, and we ended up with cold water and no heating for more than a week. They said they would send a technician but they never did; the boiler was fixed by another flatmate. 5. Now, some good things: The house is big and have the minimum furniture to live comfortably (expect for the fridge :v). The deposit was sent super fast (1 week after we left)

We are staying here in Dublin for two weeks and today is our 4th day without hot water. Not only nobody is coming to fix it, but they don't even answer!! The place is a shame, dirty and ruinous. Look at the dirty wall and broken lamp. Horrifying!

For me, it was a good experience. I stayed in Dublin 8 (Emmet place) for five weeks. I had beautiful flatmates. When I arrived, a lady cleaned my whole room and the refrigerator shelf. The apartment is not very clean, but I think it becomes clear that after using the kitchen and bathroom, everyone cleans their own. The location of the apartment is good because you can walk 5 minutes to Lidl, Tesco, Spar, or Centra, and 10 minutes to Dublin Castle and St. Patrick's Cathedral. I received my deposit 4 days later than when I returned to my home.

Pros: the response to fix things in the flat was relatively quick. Cons: the value of the deposit return was really low (20 euros out of 300) and, in some cases, nothing was returned. The 'calculation' was based on costly electricity and gas bills from the winter - even if we did not spend this period in the house, and they argue you exceeded your allocated amount. Also, the heating was on only a few hours every morning and evening and the energy discount from the government during winter was not passed on to the tenants. In the end, the international students have their hands tied facing the company.

In short, ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฎ ๐Ÿ‡ง ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ๐Ÿ‡ช . I was there for two weeks and from the third day the elevator started to smell like vomit and have a sticky floor. I contacted them 5 times through two different means and they ignored me each time. The first day the curtain was infested with moths. My roommate was told that he was going to have a single room but surprise! there I was and they didn't change us either. I will not repeat with this company.

Terrible company with terrible families. Sam the manager is rude and they don't check any family. Great business providing families for students I think but poor customer service and the quality of the families. You can't choose a family, the give you what the have, 1 hour from city centre, terrible meals, they don't let you to heat your room at night... Irish families have to adapt to students a bit more.

I stayed with ISA for two months while working in the city centre. The apartment had all necessary amenities and considering the weekly rate is less than that of 7 nights in a hostel it was a great deal. It is a small team but they work hard to resolve any issues you're having with your apartment. The apartment was also in a great location within walking distance of Temple Bar and O'Connell.

I stayed at North Circular Road accommodation for 4 months. The staff was very helpful. All issues were solved within 12 hours. They provided good quality crockery and good washing machine. I don't think any other accommodation can provide such stuff. I highly recommend this.

ISA team's very professional and available. They immediately engaged and found a great accommodation in Dublin for my daughter in 2 days that is impressive considering how busy is the city in September.

I have hosted International students for the ISA over the past 3 years and have always found them to be very good and professional. Feedback from the students staying with me has always been positive in relation to classes an extra corruculum activities and support offered by the college.

I am currently staying in an accommodation from ISA and I am having a great experience. They supply bedding, cookware and other household essentials which is important for my short stay. We had a problem with one of our doorknobs and ISA was very quick to help us and fix the problem. The staff is friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Would highly recommend and use again!

If thereโ€™s possible to rate -1 I would do it for sure! This company is just bunch of thieves and arrogant ****. Their response time is from few days to few weeks, conditions of their properties are absolutely terrible. Stay away from this company if you can!

Worst accommodation ever. Being homeless is basically the same. One week one without hot water and heating. No comment
