Amazing experience as first time Rio traveler from Europe. Very clean room with perfect air conditioning. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful and working perfectly. Cleaning was daily and well done. The breakfast was super well organized and had a huge selection of food. Outstanding amazing service due to super helpful and super friendly staff from check-in to checkout a amazing experience. Beach, restaurants, and super market is a 5 minutes walk away away. If somebody ask me where to stay I would always recommend bandeirantes.

Desperately needs a renovation. Although the room has a fair size, the bed is terrible! The bathroom seems to be delicate as the flush doesn't seems to work well. The shower is the good part of you enjoy a water massage along the shower. The hotel itself is laid back with only one elevator working making you wait quite a bit for your turn. So don't call uber from you bedroom, wait till you are at the lounge. The good part was definitely the friendly and easy to approach staff and the breakfast. Summing-up it's a 90th's hotel in Copacabana.

Stayed 2 nights, and needed a 3rd, big hassle. Old Hotel, in need of refreshing. Don't pay for the internet, $R15 per day, and works only sporadically. Stayed at Itajuba Hotel in Cinelandia last time (2 weeks ago) and was a better place, but further from the beach, and half the price, short taxi ride to the beach made it worthwhile.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms below the tenth floor are good. They are still renovating and the 10th floor is old/outdated. Make sure you get a room from 9 down. Breakfast is fantastic and he location is perfect. The staff were all extremely helpful

Ridiculously simple rooms, not very clean, the air conditioner smelled badly, and also dripped water (not straight down, but directly on our bed). The staff offered to help and switch rooms, but only on the next day, which we couldn't do because of plans. Shower had very hot water, pretty much the only upside. The rooms are super noisy, both the windows that face the street, and the door lets in all the noise from the hall. Right now there's staff outside the room with a very loud walky talky for half an hour, and it is very loud in the room. The room keys stopped working 2 times, and the desk staff quickly fixed them, but they weren't surprised by the problem, so it happens a lot. The desk staff speaks English, but none of the other staff speaks english. So when the desk sends a technician/bellboy/custodial staff over without explaining anything, we can't do much. EDIT: And right now, the sink started dripping down!!! Horrible place
