Looks nicely restored, but it is occupied by several homeless people. On the outside that is.

A nice structure. You usually pass it while driving. Nothing much to see there as a tourist.

This review concerns Ratinger Street... but the street cannot be found under "Reviews". "We meet the Ratingers" That's it...This is how you make an appointment if you want to meet on the nightlife street in DĂĽsseldorf. The scene street in DĂĽsseldorf between the Hofgarten and the Rhine and between the art academy and the art association. One of the oldest streets in DĂĽsseldorf..Fascinated and famous..a street full of stories..Napoleon was here. Joseph Beuys was here..Punks and hippies carried out culture here...Musicians like the "Hosen"...Writers like that Ginsberg drank Alt beer here...shops like Der Ratinger Hof or Creem Cheese (Neubruchstrasse) could be found here. A visit is definitely worth it.

For me, it is the regular starting point for the guided city history tours with the wonderful Frank Leuwer and the other people involved in the DĂĽsseldorf History Workshop.

Cool history. Only to look at from exterior. Cannot visit inside.

Nice place to see from the car. It is a good walk if you are also visiting the park.

Strange to walk through a.park and then to get onto the road that divides the park in half and that is where this Gate ("Tor") is. Was really bluffed to see it. I though: "oh, so this is here... ok wait for the green light" then you cross the road and are again in the park.
