    Absolute world class. There's really no need to say more. Although he doesn't yet (!) have a Michelin star (but does have various awards from other rankings), an experience at Lukas Jakobi is already more impressive than at various other star restaurants we have already eaten at. And in his first own shop, still at the very beginning of his career. We are really impressed and can only recommend it. Price/performance is excellent, 150 EUR for the large menu with almost 13 tastings (only 9 courses announced). Coffee & water is included.

    What an extraordinary culinary experience! The newly opened Zwanzig23 restaurant in Düsseldorf far exceeded my expectations. The cuisine here is undoubtedly some of the most creative and innovative I have ever tasted. Each bite felt like a journey of discovery through different flavors harmoniously blending into a unique composition. The flavors and textures were a feast for my senses. The kitchen team really did a great job of enchanting us with unforgettable dishes. The restaurant's ambience is both elegant and inviting, and the staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, adding to an already impressive experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant. A visit here is an absolute must for foodies and anyone who wants to be enchanted by the magic of gastronomy. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

    Great casual fine dining option in the heart of Bilk. Inspirational good options with an experimental touch. For all who like the extraordinary. Try the "alcoholic pairing". Will definitely be back.

    What an ingenious and well thought out concept! Guests become part of this fantastic culinary journey. Lukas and his team are enchanting hosts, the feel-good factor is very important here. It is also possible to choose the large menu for the 2 p.m. table. Simply request this in advance and it is absolutely worth it. The food is prepared and explained in front of the guests with the highest quality and a successful composition. And it tastes great; variety in the different components and flavors is very important here. Twenty23 is a new star in the sky, which we will definitely hear a lot about and, above all, eat.     The (for me) best vegan food I've had so far. Every dish is a taste explosion. The atmosphere there is great, as is the service. The first time fine dining and such an experience! There is a super relaxed atmosphere there, no pressure or anything like that. The open kitchen gives you direct insight into the preparation/preparation of the dishes. A meal at the highest level! Really fun to eat there.

    The Zwanzig23 by Lukas Jakobi could currently be the most exciting and courageous restaurant in Düsseldorf. In the still new fine dining location in Bilk, Lukas Jakobi will continue to enjoy trying out, fermenting, surprising and convincing with fine and crazy dishes in 2024. He calls his creations “character kitchen with rough edges”! The taste of the food is extraordinary and always on the borderline: sweet, sour, salty, spicy, umami - and often all of this together in just one dish. The current menu includes such adventurous combinations as salmon trout | Kimchi, yellowfin mackerel | Nut butter, Loup de Mer | Bone marrow and as an intermediate course orange | Olive. Wild hare awaits you in the meat menu Mole and Wagyu Goulash | Roulade style. If you prefer fish and meat-free, you can look forward to a completely vegan menu, but then you'll miss out on the craziest ice cream I've ever eaten: As a dessert, Lukas Jakobi will surprise you at the beginning of 2024 with smoked and chicken skin ice cream. Yes, you read that right. 😊 The vegan menu at the moment includes sour cucumbers | Peanut, Enoki | Pepper, Redefine Meat | Thai herbs or bread miso | Find celery kimchi. And the vegan versions sound at least as good as the non-vegan dishes. In addition to his special food experiments, Lukas Jakobi attaches great importance to sustainability: "Taste the Waste" is a kind of "appetizer plate" with "kitchen waste" that would often simply be thrown away in other restaurants. Here they are processed into the finest delicacies. I admire his cooking, his courage for his experimental dishes and for taking the step of opening his own restaurant during this difficult time for the catering industry. You can choose between a small and large menu and watch the chefs prepare the food at the bar. The chefs explain the idea, history and origin of the food for each course. And every now and then you get to have a personal conversation when there is a free moment between work. This open and personal interaction with the guests rounds off the evening.

    An unforgettable evening - from the first moment. Elegantly furnished, the eye is captured by the large surrounding counter, where the experience also takes place. The highlight was the 9-course menu, which the chef personally prepared behind the counter. Each course was a masterpiece that you could “participate” in preparing. Taste, presentation, creativity and an extremely friendly team have created an incomparably carefree atmosphere. We are excited!! :D

    Wow, what an exciting and interesting experience the evening was. Lukas and his incredibly great team conjured up a really great dinner for us. Really great employees and colleagues who really put in a lot of effort and seem totally authentic! Service and ambience is excellent. The food is really phenomenal or as my partner said: awesome! We really had fun analyzing and enjoying the food. For each dish, everything is briefly explained and the ingredients are described. Not everything is understandable to us laypeople, but you can just ask and take your time. Lukas Jakobi is a loud, cool and laughs a lot chef. The guests simply chat freely. Thanks to Lukas and his team for the evening!

    I thought the 9 course menu was simply brilliant. We were there for almost 4 hours and it was still very entertaining. The staff described each course in detail. I really like the proximity to the open kitchen. I'll definitely come back.

    The most beautiful New Year's Eve I've ever had. -Thanks! From the moment we entered the restaurant until the end of this special evening we were looked after by an extremely attentive and friendly staff. They were always present to make sure we didn't lack anything. Isabel shines with her charm and expertise and easily tailors the service to each guest! Now about the food - it was extremely delicious! Every course was exciting, carefully prepared and of the highest quality. The flavors were perfectly balanced and unique in their composition; the presentation was artistic! It was obvious that Lukas and Jonas have great attention to detail and passion for their craft and provide guests with a true experience. Due to the colorful mix of guests, there was a pleasant atmosphere, people started talking and even at midnight everyone started the new year full and happy! The restaurant lets everyone be who they are, doesn't exclude anyone and comes alive with its counter concept. Lukas thus creates a casual basis for a successful evening. This evening was anything but inconsequential, it was particularly tasteful in every respect! We will be back!
