Great food, smoothies and service! It is right by the beach, but also under the trees.

Service and ambiance was great. The food was absolutely amazing and I was very much surprised to see that prices only escalated between 2 and 5 per item. This was an absolute great experience and would recommend this to anyone.

We just popped on for milkshakes before my daughter left the country and that is also one of her go to places when she is back home. She absolutely lovely this place and especially the shakes. The food being served around us looked amazing and I will certainly go back to try some of their devine looking meals and cake. Thank you 😀

I have mixed feelings about this place. I enjoy coming here for a peaceful coffee or breakfast after a long walk on the beach on a Sunday morning, but I have been forgotten about on two separate occasions. Once I ordered pancakes which never came and it turned out they had just forgotten about the order. More recently they have a system where you have to go in to the building to order. I am not sure if it's because they are understaffed or what but it's inconvenient and a tad bit annoying. They have two or three people serving the food but they don't take orders.

Such a beautiful place to spend time outdoors in amongst trees with bird life and the sound of the ocean. IMPORTANT NOTICE : They have without a doubt the BEST cheese cake in town!

I’ve eaten in amazing restaurants in Frankfurt and Vienna, however, The beach break really is OUR thing as East Londoners. It’s our breakfast place, and if you are coming from the outside as a Michelin critique, you won’t get it, rather not even come then. TBB is like coming home to Mom’s cooking. Enjoy the food, it’s great, smile at the waiters, respect the locals, and you’ll enjoy this place.

Great place to stop after you've been on the beach. It has a lovely atmosphere, tucked in under some trees and it's great for bringing children. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food one receives. Staff are always sweet and bathrooms are clean.

Great service, great coffee, nice to get a take away and have a walk along the beach with good coffee. Please note that bins are available at shop, and life savers, so don't have to carry empty cups home. Would have been a 5 star, but have come across them closed at the oddest times.

I really enjoyed my time here, it's the perfect covid restaurant experience, especially if you sit outside! Their prices are great, the food is really good, and the staff are super friendly! And it's a short walk to the beach! We had a lovely time.

Delicious food, lovely staff and the best venue so peaceful and relaxing under the trees.

Unfortunately we ordered a quiche at about 1.15 but later told they had run out, ordered a pie without looking at it. Pie terrible, especially the pastry. Then presented a bill for R30 extra. Told waitress we wanted to speak to person in charge, they wavered the bill. My friend actually was still hungry - gave chips and she wanted salads. Pity

A little gem in the heart of East London. Situated in Nahoon practically on the beach. If you looking for a lekker brekkie a definite must try. Friendly staff and great coffee.

Waiters need to do better, got sitted by one person orders are made inside so we order our drinks in came a different face then again a different face served us our food...

It’s a beach café, so don’t expect gourmet. You might wait a bit for food, but the price is good for what you get. Unfortunately the staff sometimes mix up orders. The outside seating is so lovely, but due to the poor upkeep of the municipal restrooms nearby, there can be a bad smell some days. Most of all though, the staff are very friendly, which is a huge plus in my books.

The Beach Break always offers a great food and coffee in a beautiful and relaxing setting, either indoors or weather permitting outdoors.

My kids enjoyed being here. We had a wonderful family day. After a light meal, we spent the entire day at the beach which was quite close to shopping centers so I could go and stock up on some refreshments for an impromptu picnic

Laid back, cool restaurant. Enjoyed the food and the slushies. You can take a stroll on the beach after your meal.

Grabbed a quick brunch during loadshedding. A few items were not available during loadshedding, but enough others to still really enjoy our eating experience. Lovely to sit under the shade of the trees and enjoy outside dining. Walking distance to Nahoon Beach

A lovely small restaurant conveniently located on the way from Nahoon Beach. Their assortment of milkshakes are a delightful taste and consistency, especially their unique flavours such as the Rolo milkshake I tried the last time I was here. I also had their lamb burger which was sizeable in proportion and satisfying in flavour. Service is friendly and efficient as we did not wait long for our orders despite the place being moderately busy. One can expect a relaxed, outdoor atmosphere surrounded by trees and the shade provided by their intertwining branches overhead. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Nahoon beach and looking for a place to have a great meal.

This place is Unique! It has a massive conglomerate of trees that make the best jungle gym ever! Their Milkshakes are divine as well as their food. It's and extremely safe place for our kids wherever we sit we can keep an eye on them playing in the trees

Found this fantastic place and are so happy that we chose to have lunch there! Loved the bacon and avo burger/bun and the chicken burger with strawberry for little kiddo was a winner! Tasty food and fantastic large cappuccino 🥰 Great friendly ladies who served us and helped ordering our food. Thank you!

The best cakes I have ever eaten, all fresh and home made.

Beach Break had closed by the time we arrived. The location and decor is simple as it nestles in indigenous bush. Have heard that the scones are wonderful. On our next visit to East London we will make sure we get there before closing time.

It's a decent little place for breakfast / lunch right by the Nahoon beach. Not a lot of space but they are adhering to social distancing and COVID regulations. I only had a milkshake but it was good. Staff seem friendly.

Always good food there! And their desserts are phenomenal: best brownies, chocolate cake, cheese cake, lemon meringue in town!

Delicious food and especially delicious baked goods from savoury muffins to cake. Excellent coffee. Lovely setting.

Fabulous... Divine breakies scrumptious baked cheese cake with caramel and ice cream friendly staff and we just love our local girl Karen Henderson who is Mrs Beach Break. On the doorstep of our piece of paradise beach Nahoon.
