John Dory's Beacon Bay has for years been our little family's favorite restaurant. The kids always have fun playing in their colorful and always supervised play area. The food has always been delicious and the staff very polite, friendly and AMAZING!!!!!

12 prawns R99! #Done Kiddies meals are free on Sundays (Oh...they get the whole pan😆) and breakfast is only R36 We just had to do it...

Had a friend's s birthday party here recently, with a group of 8 and the staff were super friendly. However our food took over two hours to be prepared (we ordered meat platters) and it wasn't even a busy day!

Great place for kids and affordable meals and specials. Kids eat free on Sundays provided you buy a main meal. The Sunday prawn platter special is R100 and we had a choice of R35 breakfast special as well. However I was a bit disappointed with the following: I asked for sunny side up eggs, which wasn't sunny side up, but overcooked. My toast tasted charred and my Beacon was 50/50. The chips was dry. The prawns were delishious, though! It seems as though there is more experience in the dishes containing fish. I cannot wait to visit the sushi bar on a Wednesday. No restaurant has something like that, which makes it quite a rare find.

I truly appreciate the rustic decor of this establishment. The food is great and the atmosphere is electric

Really nice and Central in Vincent and when we went easy to find a table. Lovely staff and nice different menu. We had a very basic lunch and although not perfect it was nice.

I think the place was fairly new when I visited. It's quite cool. They can do more, and be more. I'd love to see what they've done to it now

You clearly have a problem with the waiting timea for food ordered 2 hours for a main meal. You gotta be kidding me. As owner you are hurting your own pocket. I don't need a fancy reply stating how sorry you are for my terrible experience. Be present and your service will improve. Ridiculous

The food was absolutely delicious however the service was a bit slow. I went on a night 5hey had an event so maybe that's the reason for the slow service. It is a must try!!

Good food. Friendly service. Half price sushi on a Wednesday 😉.

Firstly when receiving my coffee the cup had lipstick on.... Secondly I had asked for soft eggs... I received hard eggs... And the yolk was harder than the egg shell itself... The bacon was better rubberized than the tyres on my car and the tomato looks like it had a trip through a shredder... At least we had a pretty long wait before the bill arrived to have take a few sips of coffee to get the Sahara Desert Chips down...

Had a lovely Mother's Day lunch. Food was excellent and the service to match. An added bonus was a generous discount for all mothers. Will definitely visit John Dory's, Beacon Bay again. Thank you.

Blegh their special of the day should definitely be something they should be able to do well I love Seafood but this meal well did not inspire us to a second visit

Friendly service but the calamari was very dry and overcooked

The prawns were under cooked and the sauce that was applied to them was cold. The chips were dry and cold and the sole was over cooked. The only good part of the meal was the Sushi that we had as a starter. Even the service was mediocre.
