My friends and I had the time of our lives at this establishment. Absolutely enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this place to everyone 👈🏽

Service was terrible. Came in and sat and nobody came to take our order. We went to the bar area and waited for the longest time to get service. After we ordered, we were told to pay before finishing our drinks. Everybody else drank their drinks without paying before. Don’t know what that was about. JUST TERRIBLE!

Food is great. Service is pathetic.

Food was ok but we were mostly ignored and overlooked. My wife needed her steak well done for medical reasons. After finding out that it wasn't as we had ordered it seemed like we were avoided. Sure it seemed like a busy night but I'm not terribly far off saying there were as many people waiting tables as actual tables. That was the first and last time I'm going there

Terrible service!!! Employees don't know what is on the menu or what they are doing! Food took wayyyy too long as well!

Loved it. Our Waitress Shanay was prompt, well spoken and helpful. It has come to my attention that others have found the service to be of a poorer quality, but for me - absolutely superb. Did not have to wait, the food came quickly, and it was scrumptious too! When next in the area, will go back. Ranks high on the list of positives for Hemmingways

The Felix restaurant is convenient when it comes to operating times, you will find that the restaurant is usually open until late, from Monday to Sunday. The food is generally okay the only thing, I usually order is a beef burger and a coffee, the burger has a caramelized onion taste with the crispy bun exterior and the fries are skinny fries nicely salted, the inconvenient thing about it is it all comes in a basket, would have preferred that is put on a plate. I will have to admit that, I was with someone at the time and they ordered a cocktail and a pizza. The cocktail wasn't the best they said and gave it a 4/10 and the pizza was a bit on the bland side. For a summary, I will be writing about my own experience at this establishment. Overall I'd have to say that their burgers and fries are something that keeps me coming back and their operating times are very convenient. Honestly I just wish they'd had something new to the lunch menu, and a better cocktail experience.

Tried their lamb with veggies - it was nice and juicy. Great service from the guy who served us. He kept checking on us and ensuring that we had everything we needed.

Our party waited 15 minutes to be seated while there were 6 open tables. People behind us came and left. We only stayed because we promised the kids. The food is okay but the service leaves much to be desired.

Cant believe we stayed in a dirty table with full of plates that were not belonging to me and my friends . The staff is not friendly at all ,they have moods . We waited for such a long time hoping that the waiter will come and clean the table ,we ended up leaving the Cafe . I really don't recommend cafe felix ,saying that their service is very poor will be understatement basically their service is beyond poor .

Horrible experience. I was there with my friends. We waited for more than 15 minutes. No one even bothered to take our order. We went to the waiters ourselves and they asked us to "Wait" in a rude manner. Never going there again 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Beautiful place, didn't stay long.. But it has a nice atmosphere. Seems like a good place for a date or a weekend outing.

Today my boyfriend and I went to Felix for dinner and a drink because he is going to be out of town so we wanted to go do something. We went there because when we last went, it was Latitude, and we had never been disappointed by the service and the food. We sat down and waited for a while before anyone came to take our drinks order. When the waitress eventually came, I ordered a glass of Baronne and my boyfriend ordered a Draught. After waiting a while for the drinks, she comes back and tells me that they dont have the Baronne but they will check if the hotel has it. We acknowledge this and continue to wait. 40 minutes later... nothing. No food, no draught, no Baronne (the hotel is extremely close to Felix). Eventually, we see the supervisor come back with the wine. We continued to be patient thinking it wouldn't be much longer but we were wrong. The bartender seemed unable to open the bottle and another while longer the draught and the food arrived, still no Baronne. The waitress said the bartender is trying to open the wine. Eventually the wine came and it was accompanied by a white wine glass with ice in it. I asked for a clean glass and it was brought for me (Still a white wine glass). When I started pouring my wine, it had several cork pieces inside. This was now nearly an hour after we sat down. We had been patient but we had now had enough. My boyfriend went to speak to the bartender to show him the cork pieces but he said he wanted to go get change. Eventually the ogetic, however it was too late for the impression that we now had of the place. The supervisor offered me different wine but I was no longer in the mood to stay as it had already been over an hour of a terrible experience. As we were about to pay and leave, the supervisor said we can leave the food and he will cancel the meal. (my boyfriend only had a few sips of his draught, I hadnt had anything to drink since we got there and we had not even made it halfway through our food). Sadly, it seems the supervisor was the only one there who took us seriously. The entire experience was dreadful.

It was beautiful and the food was great

After the renovations the new look is very beautiful. Atmosphere was was good, not too noisy could have conversation with your company. Only downside was the constant traffic to the casino through the restaurant. Order Lamb burger and beef burger, burgers were delicious well cooked, juicy and tasty. Sides however were a little disappointing chips tasted stale. Overall good experience.

Worst worst experience!! DO NOT COME HERE!! One person was given their drink 15 min before us. They then gave us fake Amarula. When I was taking a picture of the Amarula the manager pulled the shot glass out of my hand telling me to not take a picture. She then bought the amarula from the bar and it was clearly diluted. We had to call a waitress after being told to sit down. What horrendous service.

My partner and I went to Cafe Felix on 26/09/2023 and the service was very poor. We waited 50mins just for our starter. When we told the waitress that we were not pleased with how long we had to wait for our food, she simply asked us why we didn’t look for her (which we did but could not find her). I am not used to restaurants where the waiters and waitresses must be looked for in order for you to get your food. We ended up just asking them to put the rest of our food in a doggy bag without eating it because we were already tired of being there. That really put a damper on date night and I honestly would not recommend this place if you want to have a hassle free and cute date night. The food was good though, but it’s still not worth how much the staff ruins the moods.

Had the worst service in this place. It was my first time. We waited long at the entrance like idiots, next to the sign that says wait. We were shown to a table that was dirty. Had to ask someone to clean it. And then we waited for a server, who never actually showed up. And im a super patient person. And then a bunch of kids who arrived well after we did, right next to us, were attended to first. Not sure if thats because they were White. We decided to leave without even ordering. Place sucks!

My boyfriend and I have been here twice, served by the same waitress on both occasions. The service was terrible, the wait for our food was long, and when it arrived it was incorrect, we sat for over half an hour waiting for drinks that just needed to be poured into a glass. Honestly, would not go back.
