Passing through ATL and was referred here. GOOD SUGGESTION!!!👍. The service was fast and attentive. The food was very good. And the atmosphere was cool 😎. The bathrooms could use some ongoing attention, though (over flowing garbage, broken paper towel dispenser). Over all, I'd visit again.

It's going to be a huge thumbs down for me. Food, service, and ambiance are all lacking. Upon entry the name suits the decor. The service gives "I'm just here, what do you want". The food is horrible. The potatoes are a mix between mush and hard burnt mush. The pancake was hard on the outside and a weird texture on the inside. Catfish and orange juice was great. They only have blueberry jelly.

Toooooo easy!! 😂😂…… sooooo, I’ll just start by saying this review is biased….. I’ve been coming for about 15years now and this is one of my favorite places to eat. I usually get the same thing everytime I come and then just eat off of other people’s plates to try new things on the menu. I always get the sassy scramble with a side of bacon and cheese grits… w toast. 😋😋….. I always get a Lou’s coffee and just keep topping it off with fresh coffee as I drink it down…. It gets better and better each sip! I love the atmosphere, you get the real deal Atlanta culture up in there! This isn’t a Hollywood eatery….. this is a legit staple of the city. Today, my server was Tammy D! As always, service was the best! I like the eye candy too! They always seem to hire really attractive women 👀. And this place typically attracts really cool people, so get ready for a good time when you go!!

The food is really good! Our waitress Lite W was completely mediocre and very rude. We tipped her and she returned the tip telling my mom that we had a big order and the tip amount was an insult. She did nothing special, couldn’t even describe the menu, wasn’t friendly nor engaging you got what you earned!

Had a great time last week. My parents had a layover in ATL on their way out of the country, so we wanted to take them to breakfast while they waited. We picked the right spot! Service was incredibly fast, food was outstanding, and overall was a great place. The chicken and waffles was out of this world! My breakfast tacos were also delicious. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed coming here. I found them on Google, saw the reviews, and took a chance. The customer service was great. The food was really good. The music was awesome. Loved the whole vibe.

I have patronized this establishment for years as a resident of East Point and I'm never disappointed. The food and service was outstanding! The serving size of the meals are always more than enough and I can never eat it all. I tried the banana nut French toast and it was amazing! I will continue to support this local business.

Party of four. Reasonable and short wait. I’d come here just for the music. Their playlist needs to be available to we the public. Our party ordered the pancake breakfast, catfish sandwich, turkey sandwich and a bacon and eggs breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were incredible, they’re saying, but they didn’t share them with me. Texas Pete hot sauce on the table, and the tarter sauce was pre-packaged. The music is on the louder side, but great. The grits were buttery great! Cute brick storefront. QR or paper menu is available.

The restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 8. We wanted some southern comfort food and did they deliver. The servers were friendly and efficient. I ordered the shrimp and grits, the rest of my family ordered banana nut French toast, pancakes, and a breakfast sandwich. We loved the food. Thank you to the cooks in the kitchen, the food was awesome. The atmosphere was great, R&B music playing . I will definitely return for some more good food.

I had the Low Country Heap. The coffee was delicious! Overall the customer service was amazing!! Everyone was attentive and really welcoming, which is something that is rare to find in this city these days.

I went during the weekday and had no problem getting seated. It was my 1st time going but definitely won’t be my last. They have a wide variety on the menu. The service was good and the food was even better. You guys should most definitely try them out. 2 Thumbs up! Lol

Me and my family of 11 went, we were seated pretty quickly, and the waitress was excellent, drinks were good, and the breakfast was delicious. I had a Belgian waffle with 1 scramble egg and a side of grits. And I love it. My sister got a Banana pancake with pecans and my aunt got Hashbrown (Spud),with bacon. I think this place is a nice small spot, to go eat out at for a Saturday breakfast. I recommend trying this it out, you will love it. But......You will have to have CASH....they don't accept card. 😔

I feel like guy fieri would love this place Very homey, very laid back, the people who come here are here to eat really good, well-made food. There’s so much on the menu but not in like an ihop way, if that makes sense. These people know what they’re doing. And they know their ingredients well. I had the kiss my grits. Basically cheese grits with chicken sausage and cheese and oh. My god. I cannot recommend enough We also got two French toast on the side and those Portions are huuuuge, so fluffy. So perfect Just honest to goodness good food

Got the pancake breakfast. Pancakes were soft and sweet. Bf got the Low Country Heap and loved it ! The strawberry jam is homemade and I highly recommend…mmm. Get the extra $1 syrup. Also loved that they had real butter at the table. Service was super friendly and fast !! Only issue music a little loud. Yum

The food was ok nothing really stood out. We were seated at a table where there were food crumbs left behind on the booth seats, and requested that someone wipe them down. Overall experience was average, I might try to visit another location to see if the service, food, and environment is better.

Food was really good. They have big serving sizes. I just wish my spinach was seasoned instead of placed on there with my tofu scramble. I also ordered a side of potatoes. The toast was supposed to be wheat instead of white but other than those two mishaps my food was seasoned good. My friend said his banana french toast was good as well.

Great diner atmosphere. Grandson enjoyed his waffle! He said "its just the right color"! The Yukon Omelet w/grilled bagel was quite tasty. Very pleased with our experience...we will be returning...

The space is warm and inviting. The service is excellent. We had the French toast, buckwheat pancakes , grits and scrambled eggs. Everything was spectacular.

Our server was awesome, and so was the food. I had chicken and waffles with eggs. The wings were smoked and so flavorful. The waffle was delicious and the eggs were perfectly cooked the way I requested.

Tried this place after Google reviews. The food was good but not the ambiance. The sassy scramble and build your own omelette were delicious. This place has limited seating area and waiting period of 40-50 minutes on weekends. It is CASH ONLY restaurant and they allow 90 minutes per table.

As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted. Sign in and have a seat. It was my first time there. The waitress was very nice. I had the hippy omelet (add sausage), fried catfish, grits and small coffee. The food was amazing.

Visiting Atlanta from out of town & in fact out of country, I found this gem by researching. What luck! I felt like I won the down home Atlanta breakfast lottery. The menu made it hard to choose but both my vegetarian daughter & I made choices that seemed perfect. The food was delicious, portions large, the service was good and the atmoshphere topped it all off. If/when we make it back to Atlanta, we'll be back!

The food at Thumbs Up was great! Big servings. The service we received from Ricky was awesome. He came back and forth to make sure our needs were met. When I come back to Atlanta, I will be coming back to Thumbs Up to eat!

Great breakfast experience! I had the Hippy Omelette. It was so good. My wife had a sausage omelette. So big she couldn’t finish. Would highly recommend the biscuit with peach jelly. Great service!!! Clean place, good music.

I took my brother here for his birthday breakfast. It was soooooo nice! The food is filling and the staff is friendly. Chaundra was a sweet and attentive soul! The coffee was amazing. Yes we both got the grits and fried catfish. It was seasoned to the T…. Man the French toast was so sweet and soft!!! I’ll be back!

This place was AWESOME! The music was bumpin, the people were friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS!! I always love a place that has big portions for reasonable/low prices. I will 1000% recommend this place to anyone who wants to just sit back, relax, and eat some great food!

Perfect place to get a delicious taste of Georgia before returning to the airport. Catfish was perfectly seasoned and fresh and the waffle had good flavor as well. My husband loved his Catfish and grits and also thought it was the perfect meal to leave the South with. Good old school diner atmosphere with a perfect musical soundtrack 🎶.
