Beautiful trails: The loop is approximately 2.25 miles around the perimeter of the lake. Most of the trail is remote with trees on both sides of the path. Parking is available on the South and West sides of the lake. Public boat launch is on the North side of the lake. Sledding hill available at the main park area on the South side of the lake. Expect airport noise much of the day due to close proximity to flying cloud.

Went to a free concert at this park last night. Very well laid out Amphitheater space! Space for lawn chairs, but the stone edges make good seating too. BIG stage, good sound, even a small food area with tables and a permanent snack shack. Lots of parking nearby, and next to a small lake. The band was a favorite, so.... good choice Eden Praire city hall! 😁👍

Stumbled on this hidden gem for a sunrise...could not have been more gorgeous! The trail to get to the lake was off path and my shoes/pants got pretty wet but it was so worth it! Huge playground...long paths to follow. Great park! Huge open areas too

What an amazing park! We just discovered this one today ~ and I love all the different levels, great equipment, and easy to use for multiple ages. We didn't get to use the food truck, but I'm attaching the poster for it (with times listed), because how smart is that? Great idea for the families that are there for almost two hours like we were! Bonus points, for the shaded tables, the soft terrain (boy do I despise wood chips! 😅), and the easily accessed pathway which I'm hoping to check out next time :) MOMS Club(R) of Shakopee and Prior Lake President, - Katharina

Nice park with path around the lake and amazing playground. Have sliding hill and looks like cross country ski trails during winter.

Nice park with great play area for children. Popular during the weekdays. I've played disc golf here a few times too. It's a decent course with some good hills for exercise. There is a also an amphitheater that holds performances. Currently part of the park is under construction, but it doesn't limit the use of any of the other facilities.

Lots of space for the dogs to play and do their own thing. Wading into the water was fun for my water loving pup. Also, there are more pathways in the off leash area than you will usually find. We had a great time here.

I saw this posted on events on fb. My granddaughter loves Wednesday. The show was awesome, they had a shuttle being we had to park off site. Reasonably priced concessions and everyone was friendly. Will be sure to attend events in the future.

Great park with plenty of walking trails, picnic tables, open fields, large playground, amphitheatre, pickleball courts, a tennis court, basketball court, sand volleyball pit, and a disc golf course. Love coming here with groups of all sizes

January 8th I showed up with a friend to go snowboarding only to immediately be turned away. There wasn’t a single person on the hill besides the two of us and I didn’t bring a spare sled. Very dissatisfying

The park was clean and there were two attendants taking out the trash. Paths are clear and grass is mower. Great spot!

This place is great for skiing in the winter. They have groomed a little bit of the flat field for cross country skiing. And the pavilion is great to play around in. I'm not sure if the restrooms are open during the winter months, but I'll have to check it out in the future.

Sledding in winter is fun. In summer, nice kids play area, cycling trail.

  • 3/5 Chris G. 3 years ago on Google
Ok so this park has some great features, but in the summer, there's like 300,000 mosquitoes that attack you as soon as you go into the wooded path area. I really want to love this park, but I just can't in the summer

Beautiful park with multiple amenities. I visit often to play the nine-hole disc golf course. Good beginner/intermediate course with some light technical holes. Trees, elevation, dog legs.

This is a beautiful place for an Off Leash area for your pooch. Trails that wind into the woods with enough clearing for one to walk through. Water jugs that owners will walk up the hill to fill so that dogs can have fresh water in the bowls near the picnic table. There are bins that store bags to clean up after your dog, a bin full of tennis balls, and one for apparent lost and found items. There are steps in the woods and hills for the dogs to run around and explore. Meet other pet owners.

Gorgeous 2.6 mile paved path around a lake with connections to other trails. There is a boat launch nearby and Port o potties at the parking lots. Looks like there is a cross country ski course for the winter too! I loved it so much I came three times in one week.

Great part of Eden Prairie park system - awesome trails, neat playground for the kids, floating fishing docks, pickle all, tennis, sand volleyball, cool amphitheater with outdoor performances, community center available for rent with outdoor patio and cross country skiing and sledding during the winter!

  • 5/5 Doug H. 3 years ago on Google
Very nice park and trails around it for walking or biking. If you want a little extra exercise try walking or running up the sliding hill a few times!

Horrible place to walk in Summer. Would never go again. They could do a better job with mosquito control. They should fumigate this area or close it down. What's up with maintenance of public areas and who says that mosquito control has to be political thing. Just do it. Do you want malaria or dengue fever to start in EP? What are you waiting for? Is anybody listening?

There is so much space to roam around in! The view is beautiful, especially in fall. The playground is very fun for my brothers!

Nice picnic area! Rain came up quickly which got us moving quick!

  • 5/5 Michael S. 6 months ago on Google
Excellent paved trail around the lake and a few non paved trails if you look for them. The outdoor center is great for kids. I love the cross country ski trails in the winter as they are the best groomed trails in Eden Prairie.

What a great park right by Flying Cloud airfield. Plenty of free parking, space to social distance, and playground equipment for kids to wear themselves out on. Picturesque setting. And fun for the family.

    Nice course for disc golfing.

The playground was recently updated and is really nice for young kids. There's lots of open green space here, too. Trails, trees, and grass. Easy access to the walking/biking path around the lake. Picnic tables and pavilion area for eating or relaxing. There are also several Pokemon Go gyms and stops around for those who play.

The park has a play area that is great for kids of just about all ages. There are multiple levels, paths, play sets and areas for the kids to play. The paths are made from a rubbery material that makes it road rash free if a child would fall. There are great views of the lake, picnic tables, covered areas with tables and plenty of places to hike and explore. We actually ended up having our fall family photos done here and they turned out great. There are also portable bathrooms located near the kids park as well. They came in very handy as our kids played here for hours since there was so much to do.

Nice place for a walk, and decent playground for the kiddos. Surprisingly quiet for how close to the airport it is.

  • 5/5 Alia D. 3 years ago on Google
Gorgeous walking trails, open fields, outdoor amphitheater, archery, off-leash dog park, tennis courts, soccer field, kids playground, plentiful parking.

  • 5/5 Abby D. 3 years ago on Google
Lots of trails and a clean space. The mosquitos are terrible on the paths in the woods, though. Literal clouds of them. Maybe we just got there at a bad time on a bad day. Otherwise, the park is great!

Awesome, quick 9 basket disc golf course. Play twice or go around the corner to Hennepin Tech for a more wide open course.

👍👍 Love going to Scheels. They have a wide range of merchandise, the employees are usually nice, and pretty much anyone can find what they need here! Yes things are more pricey, but it's a great store overall. The only downside is that I wish they had an escalator. They do have an elevator, but people...
