I went here for lunch and had a great experience. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've been to that served a queso with their chips and salsa from sitdown. I ordered the steak fajitas, Mexican mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was very fresh and absolutely delicious. The house salsa was a nice addition to our food, had just the right kick to it. I tried the Tecate with lime I have never had it served the way they do but it was the best Tecate I've ever had. The complimentary dessert was airy and soft, not crunchy, I added the included honey, it was a perfect dessert. This was my first visit here and can honestly say I would come back everytime I visit Edmond, the food and dining experience are that good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful thank you so much for everything. I cannot say enough good things about this place, try it for yourself.

Great place to eat, we happened to find this place on our way through to Dallas. Great good, Great staff and in a pretty nice area of Edmond. The chipolte shrimp is ABSOLUTELY delish!

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was so glad to see the variety of choices they had on their menu. I ordered the quesa-birria tacos with the consume, and they were delicious. It came with two sides and half of a sliced avocado. I recommend you try their mashed potatoes for a side. We were a big group but still received great service. I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area.

We came to one of our favorite local restaurants for a late lunch, not expecting to have drinks, when Sam came by to tell us about the new line of fresh fruit margaritas that are being launched next week! He whipped us up a few to sample, and let me tell you, they are yummy! So if you are looking to enjoy some margaritas, with fresh fruit flavor, come by Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Edmond and enjoy yourself a few!

Went in recently with a girlfriend after hearing great things about some of their new menu items and new cocktail menu. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp & couldn't have been happier with my meal. The food was fresh, hot & delicious. The tortillas are truly homemade & our server was very prompt & courteous without being to intrusive. I highly recommend & will be back again. I love that they have traditional favorites and new lower calorie/carb options as well.

Very impressed with this place! The food was great and the service was stellar. The manager, Mila, made us feel welcome and even brought us some nachos on the house when she heard it was our first time! Even if she hadn’t, I still would have suggested this place to anyone. Bacon-wrapped shrimp? Bro.

Hidalgo’s have a great selection of Mexican food! I think they make their tortillas and their tortillas are AMAZING. It’s soft and chewy at the same time. The set up that you get when you order entrees includes two salsas, one white queso. Everything was good but their white queso is really creamy and has corn flavor that I love. My husband got shrimp and steak combo fajita, and I got the Hidalgo’s parrilla. They both came out fresh and hot, and they were delicious. You should expect a wait if you visit for Friday or Saturday dinner.

I have lived in Edmond for 7 years and why am I'm just now trying this place!! Servers had chips, salsa, homemade tortillas, and queso on the table before we even set down! I had the Guiso Especial with hidalgo beans and potatoes. My wife had the steak enchilada and chicken tamales. All of it was so delicious! This was the best Mexican food my wife and I have ever had! Jaycee was also one of the best servers i have ever had! This will be our new go-to place!

ALWAYS check your to-go or carry-out order. I ordered in person at the bar and got home missing items. Also, they gave me a tiny bag of chips (I noticed this and ran back in and bartender gave me a larger bag also gave me a few extra tortillas) and 3 tiny containers of dips for a double combo fajita! I was told we would get a full setup??? C’mon, if we were in, it would not be a problem to get more. Send people home with a large bag and improve the value. This seems silly but it’s a big deal to the perception, especially with a competitive category. Good service and good food but can’t trust to go. I tipped like I had full service but only received less than what I expected. I was going to Teds but decided to go back to our old neighborhood joint and was disappointed. Nice people and nice place but this is not good. Maybe I should have went to Teds, they check orders and make it right. Maybe they should write orders down and check it twice. Merry Christmas! I want to be fair with this because I know how important reviews are so I hope someone is paying attention. You can do better, it’s the little things that make the difference.

So good! Food came out fresh and hot, salsa, queso, relish, and tortillas, all included in the setup complimentary. I ordered the sampler. The quesadillas were fantastic. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. Will definitely return.

Hidalgo’s is a popular Mexican restaurant if you’re in the Edmond area. I had the Hidalgo’s Burrito Dinner, which had a great flavor. With the extra salsas we tried, it enhanced the flavors even further. Mrs. Flip Out had the Poblano Chile Relleno dinner and she really enjoyed it. We ordered Little Flip Out a kids taco dinner and he enjoyed it as well. Other friends and family have told us the drinks are really good as well. Good location for groups, large and small. Our service was terrific even though it was very busy. Give it a try if you’re in the area.

I did not have dine in experience so I can’t vouch for their customer service, BUT their food is truly outstanding. The serving portions are extremely generous and the food is seasoned to perfection. This place definitely makes my top 3 Mexican food restaurant choices! For a authentic food experience definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!

I love Hidalgo's! Entering it feels like going into a whole other world! The staff really embrace the Mexican culture and that is my favorite part! The staff are very nice! Meals come with free chips, and the employees constantly check in on you and ask you if you want more chips. Plus, it comes with Queso and Salsa which is a total win. It also worth mentioning that the rice is top-tier, chef's kiss. (Yes, I know. I really like rice.)

Immediately a positive sign when the server brings out fresh tortillas, salsa and queso to start. Ines had a thorough understanding of the menu. Bartender did a good job at making a drink that paired with my meal. Rice is not the best, but not an issue worth removing from the positive experience.

Staff is super nice. The lady that takes our to go order always remembers my husband and what he orders!!! Dinner was prepped quickly. Everything was correct on our to go order. Chips were a bit stale. Other than that everything was fresh and still warm by the time we got to the house. Excellent guacamole and queso. Thanks for the great service and thanks for making sure the order was correct!!! Appreciate all your hard work.

This was by far my best experience at a sit down Latino restaurant in the area. The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Be sure to ask for spicy salsa and white queso as well as your preferred level of spice on your dish. The default is rather mild, probably due to the flavor profile of customers in the area. 😋

We were greeted with friendly faces! I got the fiesta fries and they were bomb! Mila the manager was very friendly and checked on our table multiple times. Some of the other staff members checked on us as well. Didn’t wait very long to get our food and everything tasted good and fresh. There are waiters/waitresses waiting to serve you, so definitely try it out!!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! The food and service is amazing!! We LOVE Mila & John!! I’ve never seen a place understand the importance of customer service like Hildagos does!!! They are always cleaning, checking on folks and always with a smile!!! Best drinks in town!!! Would have added more pictures but already ate and drank the other drinks!! 🎉🥇

This place was fun for sure. Food was Good but a bit bland and my dish did not arrive as described and when I asked for the missing item I was charged $3. No guacamole and no pico, making it rather dry. Wy wife's came as described with sour cream and guacamole. Everyone was super friendly! And the margarita thingy was superb!!!!
