Tried a few items: doner iskandar kab (fantastic), mahmudiye (basically ratatouille and it's delicious), osmanli karisik kabab (not so good), kuzu incik (really unusual but perfectly cooked). Also tried some starters/salads: kasik salât & karides salât plus arnavut cigeri, etli sarma, vesir borek (tasty) and kozlenmis patlican (so fresh we ordered 2)

It was pretty good overall. The spinach and cheese pide was very good. The service was pretty good. Didn’t wow us but we enjoyed.

This is a really special place! We were staying at the Kempinski 3 nights. On the 2nd night we tried this restaurant and loved it so much we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else the following night. We stayed Kempinski hotel 31 March 2022. Before our booking we were informed that the roof bar and the open pool will be closed during our staying due to maintainer. To our surprise when we arrived we found out that also the restaurant was closed !!

When this place first opened, it served great elevated Turkish cuisine. But it appears that they must have changed the chef as this has changed and the food is quite mediocre.

Loved it great food, amazing atmosphere the staff are friendly and know what they are serving to eat. The washing of the hands ceremony was interesting, went there with a group of friends for lunch, had a brilliant light lunch would go again next time I'm in Cairo for sure !
