One of the best locations to visit with your kids, absolutely amazing. If you are thinking about planning a visit with your family that contains information and fun at the same time, this one might be the one. I went there with my kids to show them the great history of the October war. The show was just amazing, people were very helpful and polite, the place was very clean. The only thing that I recommend is to take care of hot days because it has an open air military museum and it was too hard to focus with the sun above your head. The place contains multiple types of weapons that have been used in the 1973 war with actual pieces that participated in the war like tanks, artillery and aircrafts. The prices are pretty reasonable. Absolutely recommended place to pickup in your next trip with family

Very beautiful and interesting place, it’s simply a museum dedicated to the wars between Egypt and Israel, especially 1973 war, the place tells the story of the Egyptian victory in a very creative and beautiful way, you’ll first see some of the tanks, fighter jets and weapons that were used in the war by both sides in a big backyard, then you’ll enter the building to experience 3 halls, and the most beautiful one is the panorama experience that rotates you around a huge panoramic painting of the crossing of the Suez canal by the Egyptian Army and destroying the Bar Lev Line with amazing audio from the war that takes you straight to the battleground, just be sure to check the times of the show, i went there around 11:00AM and the show starts at 12:00PM as i was told, and the price for foreigners is 100EGP per person, i highly recommend it.

I love the history this place holds as regards the war and the tactical approach. It has military grade war relics for anyone fascinated by this. For foreigners to get a pass, they will have to pay 200 EGP. This pass includes a tour of the external and internal areas, including two or three short movie clips. One of the movie clips shows details of the war on land. The effect of this is very wonderful as they tried to recreate the exact events in the desert. You will get a feel of being present at the time of the war many many years ago. The painting in the movie hall are very realistic too. Photography is allowed too. Another movie shows a fight in an aquatic environment. You will need a 3D glasses which will be provided by a staff. During the movie, the sound effect is great and loud. Some scenes of water splashes are mimicked using over head sprinklers. So again you feel like you're in the ship while the bombings are taking place. Take care with your personal items to avoid water on them. The illustrations are in Arabic and I think with an English subtitles, I can't remember correctly. Inside the building you will see miniature building and war equipment. The best view in this place is in the evening. I went in at about 5pm and when I was done with the internal tours and movies it was kinda dark already outside and the entire light effects on the external building and area was just bliss. It's particularly great for taking wonderful pictures, listening to the music and just having fun.

The place is amazing and informative if you into military stuff! We bought audio headsets, waste of money as it only mention the description on the boards! Kids had a blast and amazing photos. The place is very well conditioned and well maintained Maybe take a local person to translate some of the videos Do not accept private tour … just pay normal price Call before hand to know video show times Makes you feel proud to be Egyptian
