Great park with lots for the children to enjoy. Only down side this park used to have a water feature which no longer works. An amazing playground for the children to enjoy.

My family and my daughter's family took advantage of the warm weather today and headed over to White Spur Park. We bought pizza, chips, and drinks and had a picnic. It was fun to see my 7 y/o son and my 2 grandchildren running around and playing together with the other children in this time of COVID! We had a great time! Everyone wore their protective masks of course! πŸ™‚

My kids really enjoyed this playground, ages 4 and 7. The playground is one of the best playgrounds I’ve been to in el paso. The kids felt like they were in a mini castle kingdom, exploring every corner. I would have given it 4 stars, if the place was kept up a little more, more trash on the ground than expected. Overall, a fun place to take the kids to get some vitamin c.

Nice park with lots of open spaces. Good family picnic area. Good jungle gym for the kids. I lay set back is the lack of shade and canopies. Would like the city to invest in canopies for all parks..it would make people enjoy the places set aside for all of the community.

I have been visiting this specific park for coming up on 20 years now and even more so since I have my children. I have always called it the princess park for obvious reasons. Before that I knew it as love park. Only a couple of years ago did I find out the actual name of one of the best parks in El paso was white spur park. If you have kids its an amazing place and experience if you don't have kids its no less amazing. I can't give more then 5 stars to a truly 10 star park. Enjoy

This westside gem of a park has a really nice playground for children with misters and shade. The park is a beautiful open space for play with family and friends or to enjoy a picnic together. The only word item to watch for is that there isn't a parking area so the side roads can get full on some days so plan accordingly.

Nice in its prime. Needs work. Hot midday. Littles will still have a blast.

My 3 and 4 year old love this park. Well kept and clean. A lot to do and large. Not just a slide and swings, it's a large playground that's fenced it with tons to do and blow of all that energy

The kids liked this park but they have been to many places and have seen better. They need to get the city out to this park to see what they could add to make a lil bit better.

Beautiful park. The children love playing pretend here because it has a dragon and castle (we unofficially call it 'castle park.') I love this park because it is big enough for kids and adults to play together, which is great when you have young ones. They have a nice open area outside of the park to use as a field for sports or to fly a kite. I would recommend this park for all ages. They also have an accessible bathroom (portable toilet).

Great park with the best playground around!

Visiting from out of state and decided to come here one morning with my son to play. Wonderful playground with lots of activities to keep little ones busy. Definitely spent almost a good 2 hours there. On that day I found it weird how there was a guy using a metal detector walking around digging around the playground when a bunch of kids were running around playing. Just didn't seem an appropriate place to do that.

One of the most amazing parks for kids. They have a castle/clubhouse for the kids to play in. It is huge. My kid played until he couldn't play anymore (tired). He fell asleep in the truck on the way home. Perfect.

Our first visit and we loved it! I love that the playground is fenced in with only one entry. We let our kids do their own thing with us just keeping an eye on them. We will be going back!

This was actually a very nice little park. My family and I stopped to eat lunch here and we really liked it. We stopped just before lunch time and the park was very quiet, but then a lot of local El Pasoans started showing up to enjoy their lunch in the pleasant late autumn weather. If every community had a park this nice, the world would be a better place!

I’ve been coming to this park for over 2 years, and recently I’ve noticed a steady decline in maintenance and appearance. Today was the first time that I had to up and leave after 10 minutes. The park was littered with trash specifically in the kids play area not to mention a horrible rank smell coming from the wood chips. The smell was so bad I had to bathe my children right after.

Very unique park unlike any other here in El Paso. Only downside is it needs a little TLC, but otherwise my kids love going there.

  • 5/5 Heather W. 7 months ago on Google
Beautiful little gem of a park. Lots of climbing and what my kids call "tunnels" in the castle construction. It's not all made out of wood which dries so badly in the EP sun, but from a compacted, recycled leather that's made into bricks. Very sturdy, and the whole playground looks like a castle, with a bunch of activities from swings, to musical blocks, places to crawl in and climb up, a small rock wall, and overall in the shade and in a nice safe location.

The park is big with lots of different sections to play at. The park does need some love and attention as far as paint and updating some of the play areas. It has a big field and sidewalk for walking. Also, there are a few tables and some shaded areas. Bathrooms are porter potties.

One of our favorite parks!! Has many swings a 3 and under area and a lot of grass for soccer play! This is definitely one of our faves!

We love this park! My son and niece love coming here every chance they get. It's well worth the 15-mile drive from Northeast.

Trash cans are emptied regularly, the bird poop is not. Be careful where you sit or play. XL open field for games & dogs, no fence so use leash.

  • 4/5 Cyrus C. 2 years ago on Google
It's a nice little park with some shade coverings. More than adequate play area for children and an open field as well for young ones to run around

  • 4/5 Jessica C. 11 months ago on Google
Great park location. There is a toddler park for the smaller ones, and the bigger jungle gym for the older kids has multiple levels to it which help keeps the kids entertained. There are swings here. Lots of seating options for the parents, and the park took care to place shade all around to help block out the harsh sun.

This park is very big and exciting for kids of all ages. It had a dish aged area for toddlers and it also has open spaces for throwing a football around. Sometimes you can see the train pass by it and it gets the kids excited to hear them toot their horns.

Such a cute park with a nice jungle gym for kids and even has portable potty things .

  • 5/5 Emori M. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty nice. It's quite big in comparison to other playgrounds. Only thing I would say is they should add a complete cover for the whole playground so that it doesn't get so hot that they don't want to play or can't slide down. Other wise it's great. Also with the heat we have it tends to be more humid since it is on the West side where the bigger houses are where there are a lot of trees and green. So it's more humid.

Awesome area for the kids, very spacious. A lot of different activities for children to do and play. I was brought here as a child and now I am bringing my child. Will definitely keep coming back

Stopped here to wait for the nearby CVS store reopening ( they all close 1:30-2:00 for lunch break) Good choice. Saw birds & children enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Biggest surprise: The men's outdoor portable toilets was clean and well-stocked.

Amazing park! Very child friendly (plus firestation right across from the park) so any accidents at least help is right away. So its pretty awesome the ins and outs of the playground plus its kinda fenced in so kids don't run away or worse. But alway keep a watchful eye on your kiddos just to be safe!.

I like that it is fenced in and the size of the playground! Wish it had another entrance due to the size of the park, make it accessible to the bench tables. It does have smaller tables at the entrance of the park. Parking is weird, there is no parking lot, you just parallel park next to the park. Fire station and police station right there.
