Great location, very clean. The place has a very nice relaxation deck on top of the building, with an amazing view in all directions. The business is run by a local German matriarchy, I got to meet both the mother and the daughters and was very impressed at the level of care and competency.

The Hotel Nazareno is on a narrow alley, a callejón, between 6th and 7th near the renown Spanish and indigenous languages school PLFM on 6th Street. This hotel is deathly quiet and closed. The door is never open. You can't get a foretaste of glory divine, as they say, and this hotel does seem to have a religious theme unless by nazareno a reference is made to that small Eurasian grape or those people who wear a tunic for a whole week once a year.

The roof has a VERY beautiful view and a comfy place to just relax. Nice clean rooms, very warm and refreshing showers and with good continuous wifi. For the price, I love it. :D

The rooms are very pretty with hot water, the staff is very nice and helpful, and the location is quite convenient near the Merced church. But my room was on the street with a nice bright window and not soundproofing therefore extremely noisy because of the cars. Antigua is at high altitude and quite cold, it was very cold in the room even with the extra blankets.

Look no further!!! This nice small, clean, and very central located hotel is all you need to have a great stay in Antigua. We, two couples, stayed there last week, and we had a great time. It is literally steps from La Merced, and EL Arco. It is super good price, and they even have free coffee amd sweet local bread waiting for every guest in the mornings. I really recommend this hotel. It is super clean and safe--though not luxurious. After all, who needs luxury if the entire city is a gem! I have stayed there back in 2005, and would stay here again if I come back.
