👍👍 We were recommended to go here by our air bnb host. We were so surprised when we walked in we were not expecting this place from the outside. It’s soooo cool!!! We loved all the nature around it and how it’s laid out. When we went there was live music. The beers were also good and the staff was kind... People often mention beer, beers, Great, Antigua, nice, good, garden, great, staff, atmosphere,

Cool place near the square to hang out and drink beer. They have restaurants in the back. There are also firepits with Adirondack chairs in which to sit. There is some concert here on 03 FEB that's probably worth checking out. My only issue that they only serve Antigua Brewing Company beers here, naturally - this is their property. There's another beer garden in town with an enormous selection.

A sanctuary to get your sanity back. Do you need a break from playing tuk-tuk dodge-em on the tourist-packed cobblestones on Antigua? Well, there is a little nature breakaway right in the middle of Antigua where you can sit under the trees, enjoy an ice-cold bear, and stare into a fire. El Bosque is a collection of food and drinks vendors in a beer-garden styled venue with a playground for the kids and plenty of green space to counteract the endless urban walls in the town. The main attraction here is a flight of beer tasters from the Antigua Brewery before you take a pick of your favourite and get a pint or two. NOTE: Get the beer. The glass of Cabernet Sauvignon we ordered was barely drinkable, way too warm, and it probably started to turn. It might, however, just have been very bad wine at a very high price.

Easily overlooked amazing beer garden in northwest Antigua There are three different vendors in one beer garden with separate receipts and payments. All of them share same location, staff, Banos, and amenities. Beers are good , however light for me, since I like strong beers. The cocktails are great. Foods are good. Fusion of Guatemalan and US foods. I had a delicious pesto burger. It is a great place for families, just need more kid activities like playgrounds, swings, ropes, and games for elementary to middle school kids. Just be aware each vendor has a separate receipt to pay.

Great brewpub with beers from the Antigua Cerveza located within a garden. Multiple bonfires were lit during the night time, which made a cozy atmosphere around. A few games were available, the staff was friendly and the beer were quite alright. Different options for food and a very beautiful path through the garden

Very nice place, hidden between the trees. Very good beer as well, and the staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. There is a lot of space for large groups and there are others options to enjoy the stay. The food was great and the service in general wonderful.

This is a really really nice place. They put a lot of effort and love into creating a very nice outdoor beer garden like venue. They have regular live music. We did not eat there but had a few beers. There beers are not cheap but really good and from that local brewery. The juices should be fresh for the price though. They don't oder table service. In the night they have several campfires around which you can sit. They offer different group games like boul, or others (don't know their names though) I can absolutely recommend this place. It's really nice with a perfect atmosphere! Just look at the pictures.

We loved El Bosque. It was a perfect spot after a walking tour of Antigua. The kids were happy and occupied while the adults were able to drink delicious beer on tap without interruption. The pizza is great too!

Really cool little place just on the outskirts of Antigua but well worth a visit. Great selection of beers, outdoor games, fun atmosphere. Feels more spacious given how central it still is.

Really tranquil place to spend the afternoon, relaxing reclining chairs and after the 8% porter time drifted. Lots of different areas to suit everyone. Lovely food.

What an amazing place. This is a local brewery that has had amazing success. Great well balanced beer. This is their largest location in Antigua. They have a fire pit, as well as several seating options. Fire wood pizza and empanadas. Both deli deli…it’s walking distance from the main plaza and is usually open late. A must!!

This place is a gem a great green space hidden in the heart of the city. Eat, drink and hang out. Multiple areas to sit and enjoy, fire pits, Adirondack’s, patios, gardens and even a kids area. Lots of food choices we had empanadas and they were excellent. Definitely worth a visit, we came back twice.

Definitely check this place out if you are in Antigua. Very unassuming entrance, but inside it is very large with nice outdoor areas and bars and different food vendors. Lots of variety, nice place to hang out.

This hidden gem is unbelievably cool! Massive beer garden in the middle of an even bigger enclosed private park. Firepit. Great food. Great music. Quality beer with a diverse selection. Amazing vibe. Prefect place to escape.

An absolute peaceful gem in the middle of a super busy area. The beer is tasty and the pizza is delicious! The setting is stunning, and you can walk around and enjoy the greenery.

Decent craft beer, the choripan also good and relaxed seating with bonfire in the evenings. Buffalo chicken wings are not real buffalo but a generic red sauce.

Multiple places to eat and drink once you’re inside. The location is beautiful and has amazing paths to walk along and see all the nature..my favorite part was seeing all the avocado trees 🥑

Thursday was ladies night. This place was incredible. From the moment you walk in the gardens are amazing. Once you walk to the back you'll find the brewery and a couple of restaurants and a full cocktail bar.

Loved the place, atmosphere and ambience is great. Craft beers are great 👍 I recommend the flights to have a bit of all there beers. There Stout is my favorite

Seems beautiful, think you can just see the flowers/trees for free, nice food selection including vegetarian, prices typical for a sit down restaurant in the hotel district.

What could possibly be cooler than a bunch of food stalls and cervezeria in an old abandoned coffee plantation just a few hundred meters from the central plaza? If you get there early enough you can get your own fire pit (they light and stoke it for you) surrounded by chairs. Tacos, pizza, and Argentinian food are among the offerings at the food stalls scattered around in the woods. A variety of beer and wine, plus music on occasion and a boules court (sorry only know the French name). It’s a pretty magical place.

Great place to have some amazing beers. The brew pub is in an open garden kind of a situation. The nitro stout tasted really good but was not served right (happened twice)

Great place for having some artesanal Beer with friends, kick back and play some giant board games. Ask for some Colonial tome which is also GREAT!

If you like drinking in nature...this is the place for you. Wonderful environment, good beer, and different food options pending on your mood. I didn't see any local Guate options but maybe they were there. There's also a cute ceramic shop by the entrance, although I would describe most to be "senora" like prints, there's some gems in there.

Food is excellent but rather pricy (more like a nice meal in the US than in Guatemala). Nice environment and good-sized tables for large groups; multiple little restaurants with a shared seating area. Service was rather slow and inattentive - they even forgot the order of one of the people I ate with. They also had issues with the credit card machine for multiple people - bring cash!!!

Service has improved and it's never really too crowded. Really enjoy the usual beers on tap plus the seasonaly ones offered. Kids can rund around freely or entertain themselves with life-sized jenga, connect the dots or the trampoline. Great for sunsets and sunny days!

Sometimes a 5-star rating is kind of obligatory, but...wow, this place knocked my socks off from the second we walked in the gate. An actual freaking forest right off Desangaño?? The buildings and landscaping were also beautiful, so I wasn't quite so surprised when the food and beer were also some of the best I'd had anywhere in Antigua. Especially the beer--the tasting flight made me feel like I was back home in Portland.

👍👍 A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

👍👍 Great Mexican restaurant in prime location. We had two different types of tacos and they were great. Very friendly staff and the bar looks extraordinary. We will come back in the evening to try the tequilas, mezcal’s and margaritas. Definitely worth to go

😠 Awful experience, especially the service, or lack thereof. Waitress didn't come to see if we needed another round of drinks the entire hour we were there, despite the fact we were the ONLY ones, and this was 915pm on a Wednesday. She was too busy talking to some guy who also worked there who sat...
