A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

Really great food and an awesome area to check out before or after your meal. My pizza was still good after I hiked a volcano and reheated it on the rocks!

Awesome museums with a great culinary experience. Great place to visit if you want to learn more about Guatemalan art and culture. Great sight of the three volcanoes. Also one of the only places where you can find shots of Zacapá xo. On the pricey side, but we’ll worth it! Note that you will need a car to get there.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Tenedor and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a cozy and traditional atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The food was simply outstanding - every dish was expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, from classic Mexican cuisine to innovative fusion dishes, and everything was executed to perfection by the talented chefs. The staff at El Tenedor were also a highlight of my visit. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure that my dining experience was exceptional. The drinks menu was also impressive, with a great selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. The margaritas were particularly delicious and the perfect accompaniment to my meal. Overall, I cannot recommend El Tenedor enough. If you're looking for delicious food, fantastic drinks, and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the city.

Wow!! What a gem! We came here for lunch without knowing about the museums, the beautiful outdoor garden, and the amazing view. Definitely ask to sit outside to soak in the beauty. We enjoyed our lunch as well, and the cocktails were tasty!

A wonderful brunch with amazing view! Price was reasonable Q120 for all you can eat buffet. The wait can be close to an hour on the weekends, and the shuttle does not always run back down to Antigua.

A wonderful place to go, not expensive but looks and feels that way with a magnificent view of the nearby volcano. Super accommodating with dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely spectacular. Not to mention the art museums nearby. If I'm not mistaken, there is also have a zip line attraction nearby. If you are a tourist, this is definitely a place you have to visit. (English menu option as well)

Absolutely fantastic! The environment is nearly unbeatable with the Guatemalan mountainside views. Active volcanoes spewing smoke as you enjoy perfectly cooked foods. The foccacia bread is perfectly crusty on the outside with the olive oil and rosemary flavor throughout. The wood fired pizza is fantastic with the flavors completely filling the pizza and cheese that is perfectly stretchy. The hamburgers are perfectly cooked and very filling. Layers of flavor depending on which one you order. Desserts were the best I've had in a long time and better than most I've had in Paris. There are so many activities to perform outside as well with the ziplining park just outside. El Tenador is an absolute must!

Amazing, beautiful restaurant with an absolutely idyllic view of Antigua Guatemala!!! It's located inside the beautiful Santo Domingo del Cerro property that is filled with amazing artwork mixed in with nature!!! It's really an amazing experience and definitely worth the visit!!! When it comes to food, they have a wood fire oven that - you guessed it! - means amazing pizzas!!! I had the pizza that seemed most authentic to the region and it was delicious!!! The deserts we're also delicious and really made it a great experience!!!

Perfect Sunday brunch with a view of the volcanoes! The walk to the restaurant is full of art installations that perfectly compliment the lush greenery of the walk. The food was good. I had an avocado toast topped with bacon and scrambled eggs, fresh papaya juice, and delicious coffee. One of my companions had chilaquiles unlike the ones I know from the United States (This is so much better!). I highly recommend experiencing this place when you're in Antigua!

Great spot to bring friends and family. Lots of area for kids to play while you enjoy the food. The views from there are expectacular.

Super cool place! The whole way up was gorgeous and junglely. There are beautiful and random art areas. We had breakfast here and everything tasted great. We got papaya juice and didn't have sugar added, which I love!

Food was great and it had a beautiful view. Would recommend making a reservation or coming early. It was a 40 minute wait for a party of 8. Staff was great.

Amazing stuff! It was my birthday so we decided to head to one of the better-reviewed restaurants in Antigua — our expectations were certainly met. The food was excellent; the steak was beautiful and the accompaniment of sides made up for the price. My girlfriend went for a pasta (Italian sausage, pesto, tomato) which she really enjoyed. We shared a lovely crème brûlée for dessert. The staff were attentive and very kind, offering us a nice seat by the window to admire the view for the special occasion. I was very surprised (in a good way!) to be treated to a Happy Birthday singsong and a complimentary additional dessert, which was very tasty and wonderfully presented. All-in-all, a really good evening, especially for a special occasion or a nice meal out in Antigua.

Amazing place. We were welcomed with coffee and traditional sweet bread while we waited for our table. The views are espectacular and the artwork scattered around the property was really impressive. We went on a Saturday so it was a little busy, but we didn't mind the wait because there was so much to see and explore. When we finally got our table, the service was impeccable and the buffet included an array of traditional Guatemalan dishes, but the best part of the experience were the views and the amazing artwork. Highly recommend if you are in Antigua for a visit.

Incredible service, and the best steak I have ever had. They even brought out little flags from our respective countries that we were visiting from. Drinks were great and the servers were very friendly as well. If you are handicapped or need special assistance, it can be quite difficult to get to the restaurant as it is off the beaten path. Drivers are allowed a 5 minute grace period to drop you off near the entrance of the restaurant so you don't have to walk so far (you just have to inform the driver of this). We will definitely be back!

Great place. Parking was EXPENSIVE, but it includes the entrance fee of 3 small museums on the property. Food was good.

Delicious food with spectacular views of a smoking volcano and the city lit up below. And this was after a stroll through a fabulous art park! It was an evening to remember, for sure. The roasted eggplant and tomato salad with black olive mousse will have me reminiscing for weeks. The service was prompt and genial, and also offered a novel presentation of tomato soup by pouring it over the garnish that was already in the bowl. I enjoyed the interesting ’placemats’ at every seat, too.

The food was great a bit expensive but your paying for the experience. You can see both fire and water volcanos. If you can come here, do it!

fantastic restaurant with really great food. I tried the jocono platter and the meat was amazing as was the spinach and corn dip. I also got the Horchata and I highly recommend this cocktail, it was one of the best Horchata as I had throughout my entire trip. They have great views as well and I definitely recommend sitting outdoors as close as you can to the volcanoes. They do have a beautiful space full of art as well would you can walk through either before or after your meal. Walk right at the end of the place to find the restaurant area. The layout is gorgeous and they have a lot of lovely plants. they also have a little shopping market so you can check out some of the local goods.

Horrible service for the tourists. Even the hostess after being not the y person went on to tell us that tourists don’t tend to come. After 10 minutes of feeling unwelcomed we left but not before they made us pay for our 10 minute parking.

A little hard to find, but a very nice restaurant with great views overlooking Antigua, the valley, and surrounding volcanoes. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and a beautiful sculpture park set around the restaurant. I was impressed that they grow many of their own herbs for the menu. I got a great burger, and my wife had a delicious personal pizza. I can highly recommend both.

Top notch this place is well worth visiting. There are various up sides from the fresh herbs picked from inside the park to the unique service plates made by local artisans. If you are coming to Guatemala this is a must visit place not only for the food but for the views as well.

Beautiful sights and the art in the premises is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely worth the visit, and even overnight stay.

Great place to enjoy brunch if you’re visiting from abroad or if you’d like to give your guests a taste of the higher-end Guatemalan experience. They have a full buffet option for those that would love to try it all, but we do find their a la carte options to be slightly tastier. Their pan dulce is fantastic and they’ll cook anything you ask them to if you opt for the buffet. You’ll be paying a pleasant premium for the view, the quality of service, and the ability to walk their grounds and museum. Also makes for a great date spot, but then again, I’d say el El Tenedor is slightly better in experience than in flavor.

Excellent place to grab a bite to eat while enjoying a gorgeous view. Top quality service. Food was great. Check out all the art pieces on the way from the parking lot to the restaurant. This place is a true gem.

Fantastic food and service!! The view is also breathtaking. I ordered ribs (great bbq sauce), cheese & bacon mashed potatoes, salad and a white chocolate creme' brule. The mixed drinks were to die for!!!!!!

As soon as you turn on the short road that takes you there, the aventure starts. This place is amazing where you can enjoy a great service, awesome food and of course the breathtaking views. If you are going for breakfast, lunch or snack, you wished you had visited this place sooner.

El Tenedor is a nice restaurant located on top of a hill with amazing views of the city and the surrounding area. On a nice day tables outside are well worth it. The food was good and creative. Service was polite and helpful. The best thing about the restaurant are the views. It is also located next to the Museo Efrain Recinos and a nice walking area. Credit cards are accepted for payment.

Their salad was light and refreshing, perfect starter. I had their Chapin pizza which was a unique option among the standard pepperoni or margarita. It was great! The service was a little slow.

If you’re into eating with a view, this place is for you. You’ll get high quality service, friendly staff and an amazing view for a price. Food is great, totally worth it. Weekend buffet for Q120(~$15) is worth the buck!

👍👍 We love Luna de Miel and have come here three times on three separate visits to Antigua- we live in the capital. My husband has ordered the Chipotle twice, and the Tejana. I’ve had the Creciente, Parisina, and I honestly can’t remember the first one I ordered a couple years ago, but they’ve all been...

🫤 Honestly I had very high expectations given how popular this place is. The portions are really small, I had to order extra rice and even after that, I was no where close to being satisfied. They literally served one piece of chicken leg 🍗 and that was it. The potatoes were good though.
