Great place to just sit back and enjoy food and drinks with friends or family. Always worth a visit. Super nice staff and great food.

Very friendly and attentive. Nice decor. I had an omlette with salsa and fresh fruit. Vegetables were fresh, salsa was barely a splash painted on top, but omlette was still good. Most of the fruit was fresh, but grapes were soft and mushy. I was generally happy and would return.

Such a cozy vibe here. The warm tones partnered with their new winter menu makes this a great stop for holiday breakfast. We had the new Cooper’s Hot Chocolate and the Cinnamon Apple Pancakes. Great food here and I will be back.

This a family friendly restaurant, I ordered the tuna melt, good flavors and filling. The staff was attentive and we didn’t have to wait long to get service. Food came out in a timely manner, would come back!

I had a great Sunday brunch at the Elmhurst location. Food was delicious. All staff were nice and polite. Waiting time was reasonable. The caramel flavored coffee was the best.

Atmosphere is family friendly and cute and the service was great! I got the eggs benedict but wouldn't recommend because it was cold and didn't feel fresh in anyway but the omelette was great! So I guess it depends a bit on what you order but overall a good experience. I would go back but I'd be more selective about what I order!

I’ll be coming back here if I have the chance! I had the cinnamon roll French toast with eggs and sausage side, and loved the toast and sausage! I don’t love eggs, and I’m very picky with how I like them, so can’t blame them for me not liking them. I bet most people would have liked them just fine. The coffee was good too, and they gave me maple syrup to sweeten it with upon request. Now, being from WI I only like the real stuff, so I was a little disappointed when they served the fake syrup. But basically every restaurant does, so what did I expect. All in all a very nice place, with good atmosphere and good food. And good service! Would highly recommend.

Had a great experience at this cafe and everyone enjoyed their food. The decorations on the walls and tables were perfectly fitting and the stained glass lamps were so colorful. There was a good selection of food and I enjoyed the gluten free options. I wanted the fruit cup as a side, but let the staff know I am allergic to pineapple, so they brought the mixed berries bowl, which was a great surprise. If you are in downtown Elmhurst before 2pm, I would give them a try.

Great options and great food. Came here for breakfast with a couple of friends one Sunday. Despite it being busy, we were seated fairly quickly. I had one of the specials. Their coffee and homemade jam was fantastic. I saw plenty to choose from so I'll definitely be coming back.

Finding good gluten free food can be difficult, especially when you're out of town for work or play. I was thrilled to stumble across Egg Harbor Cafe. I loved it so much that I had three meals from here (I got lunch for later and had lunch delivered the next day for work meetings). The breakfast was delicious (I even got a cinnamon roll to go for breakfast the next morning.) The server was very aware of the gluten-free lifestyle so I wasn't worried I would get sick. The breakfast was delicious as was the California Club I got to go for lunch. The sandwich came with potatoes (but you can sub for something else - I opted for chips) and a fruit cup. Next time I'm in the Chicago area, I will definitely swing by Egg Harbor Cafe.

The family went for breakfast when we were visiting for a college tour. The service was great, thank you Tiffany, the food is awesome. Update: We went again today for breakfast before leaving town. Makaela was fantastic and everyone else assisting was outstanding. Thank you for another fantastic breakfast.

I ordered my food for pick up (door dash) Once I opened my omelet I noticed a piece of hair, I moved the potatoes over and noticed MORE HAIR, it was short and blonde and my hair is brown...they already closed for the day by the time I noticed, very disgusted by this to not only have 1 strand of hair but MULTIPLE. Disappointing to spend $40 on breakfast for multiple people who did not feel comfortable eating it

Not sure what’s happening here. Waited 40 minutes for our breakfast after ordering. Some of our food was warm-ish, but clearly had been sitting under the heat lamp for some time as our eggs were hard and rubbery. We left because we had somewhere to be and couldn’t wait for a re-do. Coffee was good. Maybe just a bad day?

Amazing! Gluten free menu with plenty of options. Gluten free cinnamon roll was fantastic and the cheese grits satisfied the Wisconsinite in me. Friendly staff and a nicely separated space made for a great breakfast. Then paid online for convenience. Worth 6 stars.

Food was delicious all around. We ordered the Buenos Dias bagel sandwich with chorizo and bacon, it was so good! We also ordered cinnamon roll pancakes which were so tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be eating there again!

The chilaquiles were very good. Pancakes are so so. Strip mall atmosphere, don't eat outside.

My wife and I were visiting Chicago from Texas and we had seen Egg Harbor Cafe and looked it up. After looking at the menu online we quickly decided to give it a try. As we entered, we were greeted by the woman at the front of the house. She was very nice and took us to our table. Our waitress came by and got our drink order. She was very friendly. When she returned she took our order. I had ordered the carnitas skillet. OMG, it was so good. The eggs cooked perfectly, carnitas full of flavor, just great all around. I don't think it could be better. I would recommend Egg Harbor Cafe to anyone. Specifically this location. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

This was my first time visiting this location and the food was so bad. I was really craving French toast and Egg Harbor’s have me what was probably the worst French toast I’ve had. The bread was gross, and there was no trace of any type of flavor that you think of when you order French toast. I had to ask for fresh strawberries which did not taste fresh as all. Chicken sausage was the nasty kind that tastes like freezer. What a waste of time and money. Oh and not to mention, I had to waive a server down to bring my niece and I water & to take our order.

Disappointing to wait 20 minutes for a table and then sit for a half hour staring at the menus of all the lovely looking dishes. After 30 minutes without having my order taken I couldn’t help but walk out. Wonder if the food would have been good?
