The reception Is amazing. Well created sub departments. This is definitely a hotel with really high standards. The staff are always so nice and the valets are always willing to help and give you the best deals possible. The pool is gorgeous and the scenery are all honestly amazing. Top notch hospitality all round infact. The interior decor is beautiful to say the least. The outside needs a little more planning Aesthetically.

BON Sunshine Hotel is a 5 star hotel situated in the heart of the coal city, Enugu state. My stay here was very entrapping. Hotel boasts of a functioning elevator, clean rooms, bathrooms and more! It's just home away from home! There is a lovely sit out on the 7th floor and also the ground floor, gives you a nice view of the city and pretty much airy as well, feels like a beach . A conference room as well! What more can I say? I really loved it! So whenever you come visiting Enugu state, ensure to check in! Ciao

Not a terrible stay. It is one of the good hotels in Enugu, so wouldn't have expected to have a very unpleasant stay. My review below. Let me start with the good stuff - It is exquisitely modern - The rooms are lovely and clean, except for what I mentioned in the not so good part - A very lovely complimentary breakfast buffet - Quality TV stations - There is WiFi, if you are the type that is still comfortable using a public one anyway - Reception is good but can be better - The serene is not bad and security is good. It is located in the government reserved area. - Nice view and nice pool. Not so good stuff - AC didn't work so well. With AC on the lowest, I couldn't even use the duvet. I was so tired to even complain since it was a night stay, but I would say you need to get your maintenance for quality checks once in a while. - The smell! You said no smoking and getting to the lobby, the smell of cigarette all over the place was terrific. That was not so cool. - Probably from the smoke of the cigarette, but the smell of the room was not too pleasant. Had this old room smell. Well, overall, it's not a bad stay at all, but I actually expected a better experience.

Hotel Sunshine is one of Enugu's best hotels. It has fantastic customer service and the facility is daunting, standing over ever other structure at Presidential Road Enugu. The services here are pricey but the value for money is assured. The rooms are fantastic, the bar has some really great cocktails that are unique to this place and are they healthy? Absolutely! It's a place to go.

The location is good but rooms need renovations & improvement. The bar is good. The staff at reception need to be more smart. They have sometimes coordination issue with change in shift colleagues

Spacious rooms and car park, amazing buffet, I love the the outdoor bar and pool arena. Minor adjustment needs to be made on the floor tiles it's abit unstable and then the roof top would have been an amazing wonder if they up their services over there.

SUMMARY Average hotel experience. a bad hotel. Doesn't meet 3-star hotel standards. ROOM Doesn't look bad but a closer look and you'll notice the flaws (in the standard room where I stayed). - Super old furniture - Bed is too soft and low I had a backache - MOST rooms (no joke) lack proper ventilation, as the windows have a stopper that prevents them from opening. BATHROOM - Toilet wasn't very neat, my room had to be changed twice. - In the bathroom, I still had to use things to hide the mould at the corners of the tub. - Walls were peeling with mould growing too. STAFF & FOOD - Neatly dressed (both food and staff) - Staff take far too long to respond to complains and requests (including food orders). - Food was very okay to be honest and the price was fair for these hotels.

It was nice. We had FGCE@50 reunion event there. The day 1 of the event started at Hotel Sunshine, were most of our alumni lodged in. Then during the meet and greet event at the evening of day 1, we used the outdoor side of Hotel Sunshine to stay. It was nice and warm for an evening event. The manager was moving up and down endlessly to make sure our needs was met. In general, it was nice place to be.

I was there for a night. I loved it. The room was super comfy except for the floor which I thought was a bit oily. I called for assistance and it came immediately. The ambiance of the hotel is wonderful, the reception and the receptionist were super nice and professional, I loved the food, the restaurant and the bar is cool. It has a gym which I think is great for a hotel. The pool side is a nice place for an outdoor hangout. I heard there's a lounge but I didn't have time to check it out. For those who drive, it has a large parking space. It's a beautiful hotel but expensive.

Like most hotels I have visited around the country, from South to West and to North, one thing here at Bon Hotel Sunshine in the East confirms that happy staff goes a long way. BON is nice among others in the vicinity - Presidential Layout. Service is impressive, food is awesome and facility is great. There is tranquility. Just that if you are a first time user is elevator, the main one at BON may leave you with phobia for the thing henceforth. It is too old for such a new facility. Well, it I'd one of the best you can get around here.

Highly professional front office that is responsive to complaints. The room was your typical standard, but then I rank it lower because the fridge was so miniscule, a cube, that it held almost nothing. However, the breakfast buffet was great, with coffee that I really appreciated. I would come here again, hopeful that not providing basics such as washcloths would have been corrected.

Its facilities and services are first class. Its a place anyone will love to lodge. I encourage my friends to do so.

Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Poolside was nice. My kids would have enjoyed this place if they'd been with me on this trip. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely repeat.

Hotel Sunshine is a nice looking hotel right in the middle of town. I liked my room because it was pretty comfortable and spacious. The customer service could have been a lot better though. I did not find the staff to be warm, welcoming or helpful. The facilities could also be better maintained as I had poor internet and a non functioning power outlet which the maintenance team had to be called in to fix.

When it comes to good customer service i score this Hotel one star. They keep me waiting at the reception for about 15 mins with no any form of hospitality. Those ladies at the reception need a constant training on hospitality. Their attitude made me to wonder if that is what the hotel represents.

Great Hotel. Beds are soft, there's always hot water and all basic amenities are provided for in the bathroom. TV's stuck on one channel though and the hotel restaurant has a horrible habit of not sticking to time, they take a lottttt of time to bring food up to you if you order in, which is very annoying. But their buffet and food menu range is amazing.

Everyone looks corporate and organised. Elevator available and working. Good parking space but not wide enough for it's customers, I guess. Shops available within the compound. Close to market and have good access roads. Top rooms have excellent view of Enugu city. However, my friend seems to dislike it because it's too organised and formal.

It's day 2 here. And am trying so hard not to get worked up. Changed room because AC and fridge isn't working. Fridge still isn't working. Can't have my bath at 6:30 - 6:55am, because "they are loading water". 😓🤬😡

It was below my expectations. The room walls and furniture looked old. I wondered if my toilet was cleaned before I checked in or if the cleaner didn’t clean well. The food is expensive, I mean I can’t buy a plate of rice at 5k and still buy a plate of noodles at 5k...it doesn’t make sense to me. I love the pool side area and bar tho. The hotel plan is beautiful but they can do better.

I agree with the reviewer that says this hotel falls below expectations. The furniture is indeed old, the egg shaped fancy toilet can't flush properly. U have to do it over and again and still it won't still flush well, the AC doesn't cool. I had three days to spend in Enugu but I had to ask for a refund and checkout the next day. This hotel is just over priced and over hyped.

This is one of the best hotels in Enugu state and can also make its way to the top when compared to those in the Eastern part of the country.

I stayed there for 2 weeks.. It was such a nice experience. One lady by name Mis Oby,, did all her best to make sure that I feel comfortable, she is a top professional on what she does🤩. Reception workers was really wonderful and other workers too. But the rooms needs to be touched a bit.. Which before I left they have started the renovation. All I can say is thank you Hotel Sunshine. My stay was pleasant We shall see agsin😍😍

The room was large, furniture also in good condition but the floor boards were loose in many points in the room. The food is really good. Drinks always chilled to perfection. Rapid response on room service also.

Located in the peaceful area, with Italian imported clothing shop is nearby. Small local shopping area is about 500 - 600 meters east from the hotel, which includes tailor, another Italian men’s suit shop, sports wear shop. The hotel standard room has enough space for YOGA if you do, cable TV channels available. But the hotel Wi-Fi was not good speed, which allows only one device use simultaneously.

Good room service, lovely pool side, there is an even center in the premises. Beautiful spaces for pictures. Good location from where you can easily access most places in Enugu. In all it was a good experience

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel. It looks great on the outside but it is totally collapsing on the inside. The elevators are potential deathtraps. Water is dirty. Service is horrendous. I could go on. Visitors enter at their own risk.

I was here for the Sunday brunch buffet service and it was amazing. All the food options were pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed myself until their power supply was interrupted therefore we were unable to get to the roof because the elevators didn't work. It's not a bad place though

A homely hotel in a serene environment. Recently expanded to accommodate more rooms and more guests. Great and spacious rooms with air-conditioning. Neat paintwork in rooms and toilets.

The room is not as advertised, the maintenance is poor for the amount I paid, and the food served is not nice, so I had to go eat outside the hotel. I hate when I ordered food from the menu and then when it’s time to pay I was told the price has increased, that is disgusting to say the least. The DSTV subscription wasn’t paid for, so forget about watching your favorite programs on TV. I’m never coming here again, was supposed to stay 1 week but ended up staying 3days while looking for an alternative.
