The worst experience in a hotel I ever had! Bad rooms, bad bathrooms, bad breakfast buffet and the worse beds! You can hear the persons in the next rooms and the worst thing is that's you hear the sound of draining the bathwater from the rooms above you! I do not recommend it to anyone.

Good hotel with some facilities. Can be the best as 4 star hotel

This is a hotel in the heart of Erbil. I chose it to host one of the highly important events in my organization. I should say that the services (staff, meeting room, and food) were very good. Very suitable for events and individual people who seek a great experience in Erbil.

Good venue. Run down carpets. Kitchen only speaks arabic so good luck ordering in English , kitchen and room service available 6am to 2am. Rooms are nice, run down furniture though, could use a clean. Customer service is excellent

Parking area is not convenient, the room qualities are pretty good, conference room and ballroom are big and clean for multi purpose events, restaurant area is good and the food is tasty. Only overall is a bit overpriced. Recommend it to experience it.

Van Royal Erbil Hotel is located in the viable 60 meter road, it's a calm clean hotel. It has a swimming pool and a Cafe, I expected this hotel to be a true high class five star hotel but the truth is far from that. The rooms design is acceptable and clean but it needs more development regarding furniture and design. The toilet lacks pressure control So water will burst and scratch your skin. The staff is friendly BUT! the rules of the hotel are very very strict, it will make you feel that it's a military facility. No entertainment facility is available. They charge extra money for almost every single thing. The restaurant breakfast buffet is poor and lacks freshly cooked meals, No chef dedicated for cooking your favorite omlett... The majority of the food options are either canned or previously made. The bakery is stiff and old. The garage is small and easily suffocated. I didn't have a pleasant time... I thank the cleaning staff because they where very accurate and cooperative. Final Advise = It's very expensive and not worthy In a similar amount of money you can find way better options. It is suitable for families and wealthy business men.

Good location, near to almost everywhere in Erbil. Clean, good service. Meeting rooms are well equipped. Food is good, but not excellent. Too many sweets and less food

The place is very close to the city center and it offers spacious room also free Wi-Fi Rooms are very clean and neat The only downside that I noticed if you book street view you will hear everything in the street there is no sound proof

The receptionist staff are very helpful , The rooms are clean and comfortable The lobby was huge and beautiful
