Received a non smoking room which is perfectly what I wanted. Check in was fairly straightforward. Pretty decent hotel to stay in. Staying here because of my dental office is near by and getting surgery so worked out to be conveniently located. Didn’t check out their amenities but I’m sure they’re great. What threw me off was I had surgery and was on pills. I had bled a bit on the pillow cover which in all fairness I was willing to pay for. They did call me about it the same day the room was cleaned but the approach was terrible and was being rushed into paying. I still had few days left into my reservation and on drugs and unable to go down and sort it out. And felt maybe it would be ideal to wait it out in case there were any other accidents and could pay everything when I check out. But the next day I get a call insisting I come down and pay the balance and once again I told them I would at my convenience. I would have given this a better rating if the person handling this matter had been more accommodating and just had waited till my reservation was over. But this is my personal experience and would tell anyone to base their decision to stay off my review.

I had a bad experience at this hotel! First of all I would like to say that not all of the staff were bad, some of them were rude and unprofessional. Let’s begin by communication; I don’t understand how a hotel like Ramada in Istanbul , one of the tourist destinations, can hire non English speaking at the front desk. This was a huge problem for me and for almost everyone who was staying at that hotel, they don’t even bother to make an effort… now this is the issue why I decided to write a review; at the time of the check in, a front desk who checked me in advised me that I needed to leave a $50 in case I use the mini bar, basically in case you use that $50 should cover what was consumed and this is exactly how the front desk guy said to me; which turned out to be a scam at the day of check out, when I found out that I had to pay 165 euros on top of the $50 I left because I consumed mini small bottles alcoholic beverages and a couple of items were not used at all, which I still had to pay for. At the end the manager got involved and what a manager !!!! Who threatened to call “the police” on me in case I don’t pay for the scam and even said some Bullshit that he is a very strong man or something like that, well if you are reading my review , I have to say to you that you are one of the worst managers I’ve ever encountered in my life. That’s not how to speak to customers idiot , customers who pay your living salary to survive.. I was chocked how sneaky you were when after the terrible things you said , you wanted to offer me Turkish coffee and to my fellow American guy, how dare you man! Such a terrible experience and unprofessional staff. Do well for your country and the beautiful city of Istanbul, don’t abuse tourist and scare them away like that, be a good citizen of your beautiful country. Oh, the breakfast buffet definitely needs some variety, we ( all of the guest seemed to be bored with the same food) felt like were in a hospital…. Thanks anyway and have a blessed day!!!

The hotel staff was so welcoming and warm. They all were super helpful. Breakfast every morning was super fresh and delicious. The spread was immaculate. The hotel is very clean and most importantly I felt safe as a single woman traveling alone.

I’m very surprised that people have left good reviews about this property. We were put up there by Turkish Airlines after our flight was delayed. This is at most a 3 star. The whole place is old and tired and lost in an industrial suburb. There was no menu in the main restaurant- and they only served their ‘daily specials ‘ .. ie you don’t get to choose what you eat . Housekeeping staff were always rude . Worst of all - they charge you for drinking water ! I guess the hotel must have self designated itself as a 5 star.

Really bad experience ! The hotel it self is really good. Nice room and all. Except the service here. We came here as a group. Told the reception we need porter to pick up luggage at 9:00 and we will check out at 9:30.but instead there is a cleaning lady open my door at 8:10. And people come to check my mini bar at 8:45. Then I went to reception talking about this situation. It’s not acceptable. And their attitude just like they don’t feel sorry at all. We paid for 5 star hotel for the quality of stay. And got the experiences like this.

I'm sorry but in my opinion is not 5 star hotel. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is very used, bit damaged. The breakfast buffet is not providing suitable food for their guests. I was there for 10 nights and I didn't have much things to eat in breakfast as I had dental treatment (as many other people staying in the hotel). The room service is bit pricy and I was expecting more presentable look of the food. The staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was lovely! Lots of options, very diverse and everyone has been very helpful. Great option of drinks too. Hotel is lovely and clean. We stayed here for plastic surgery and it was a super comfortable stay. Zeynep was really sweet and helpful too!

On first appearance it looks nice. Food is OK but the menu in the bar is very limited. I've been here for nearly a week now. And none of the spa has been working and wasn't told that upon check in. Went down for a swim thinking I could have a paddle and sit outside in the sun but the pool has been closed now as well and there is nowhere else to sit and catch the sun. I'd avoid if possible because there is literally nothing to do here but watch the 3 channels in your room!

Very bad hotel. It says 5 star but it’s actually 2 star. The staff are friendly however there is no place for anyone to sit outside and have a cigarette. The swimming pool is ok but they locked the door so you can’t sit outside. The management seem to come up with all sort of excuses as to why services are not available and the prices in their bar are horrendous. The sauna doesn’t work. The breakfast is very simple and nothing special. Find another hotel to stay at as this is not the worth the trouble to stay at. It is on the very outskirts of Istanbul and there is literally nothing to do in the area. On your arrival they will ask you to make a review for them and will actually pay you for them to write the review in your name. Very bad hotel. Avoid at all cost.

Arrived for medical procedures to be welcomed by smiling helpful staff, from the lobby security & front desk. Each night has been comfortable, room service quick and food delivered fresh and hot and great! Using the local restaurant near the lobby, the staff are amazing at offering high class service, making you comfortable and special, and the food offered is also again, very delicious! Not enough to stars to rate this great safe hotel!

I paid for this hotel with breakfast included. My mom wasn’t feeling well and I wanted to bring up a plate for her since she was not well enough to come get it herself and they stopped me and didn’t let me take it. As if they’re not going to throw the food out after the breakfast is done. It’s very ridiculous. I also got stopped coming into the breakfast area to be asked my room number but I didn’t see him do it to everyone else. Very strange, seemed to me it was because I was brown so I must be sneaking in.

Suite was roomy comfortable with unexpected amenities like shave kit, dental set. Hotel restaurant was good and part of the bar. I wish hotel posts the menu in clear view. Other restaurants are in the next town at least 2km away

We had a great time staying at Ramada. We were well looked after by Zehra (cleaner), who made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for all your help. We had a great stay. Thank You for having us.

The staff is unwilling to help, i had a reservation that i was trying to get same night, for somehow "they didnt have any available rooms for same night" i paid a room that i couldnt use for my flight HOWEVER they wanted to charge 200 extra euros for a suite room so they change the date, which is a lie because they had availability online. No worries, I will dispute the transaction on american express. Take care and dont book here :)

Food was excellent at breakfast, lunch and dinner.....all staff members were very pleasant and obliging. And in particular Eylem was very helpful at breakfast, and cretin also very helpful at all times. Overall very pleased and would love to come back next time we are visiting.

A modern hotel, rooms were good and to be fair so was the service from reception and elsewhere. The breakfast buffet was fine and it has a small bar area. The swimming pool was good. However it is in the middle of nowhere, it’s all been recently developed around the hotel and there nothing nearby no restaurants, shops cafes etc. The metro station is close by and really good but it’s a way out of the main area.

Silan, a staff waitress ask me to give my opinion about the overall service in the restaurant- food, waitresses, cooks and receptionist. I think the restaurant service is good. What I think needs improvement is communication between staff and the customers, especially the cooks. I personally would like to see a variety of soups daily.

The cleanliness, organization and service of the hotel was very good and high. There is a magnificent view from the window. But I have to say that the rooms are very narrow and I couldn't taste the noble meatballs in the food. Everything else was very good.

What can I say about this hotel. Staff at the front desk were arrogant and not willing to help.i felt as if they were forced to interact with us. Porter service was very low. I had major dental surgery done, was told I had to reel my own luggage to reception, as no Porter was on site. Rang reception/ house keeping for a new bed lamp. Nothing done. Eventually I gave up. Twice my daughter nearly had a reaction to nuts as she suffers from nut allergies . We ordered dessert on room service, clearly stating strictly NO NUTS.We were assured they wouldn't be any. But had nuts!!. No refund was given. Breakfast was ok too. Not much variety for foreign guests. Would NOT BOOK THIS PLACE AGAIN.

One unusual aspect that stood out was their request for a 50 euro guarantee for the minibar. They didn' recognised the passport of Republic of Kosovo they said that we are from Serbia. On a positive note, the breakfast offered a variety of options, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the hotel's location was a significant drawback as it was quite far from the places I wanted to visit. The pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxation, and it was well-maintained, adding to the positive aspects of the stay. Unfortunately, the room wasn't as clean as I would have expected, which was disappointing. One redeeming quality was the nice view from the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent, and the spacious rooms left a positive impression. The room size was a definite highlight. However, I found the breakfast lacking in Asian food options, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, I encountered an issue with the receptionist's lack of friendliness. Despite these concerns, other aspects of the hotel were satisfactory, making it an overall decent stay.

I couldn’t fault anything at this hotel, room was perfect staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Easy access by taxi to the old town, metro very close by with connections to tram services easy to use loved it. I cannot thank the staff in the restaurant enough as I was having dental treatment and they new exactly what foods to eat 🙏 to you.

Rooms are spacious. The hotel is a bit far from the old city but I love to go back to the comfy and nice room after a long walk everyday. Breakfast was good. Room temperature could not be changed and for me, it was hot even for me who came frm Malaysia😬

Enjoyed my stay there. The staff is very friendly and the food is decent. The rooms are spacious, however, they could use some renovations. My room had a smart tv which I appreciate. Overall, nothing to complain about.

Excellent Hotel and facilities but what really deserves mentioning is the level of service from all staff which is 1st class. I do have to single out one person though who is Ahmet Can, he is an asset to the Hotel and could work in any 5 star Hotel in the World - very impressive

Overall the hotel was comfortable, and full continental breakfast very satisfying but repetitive. Lack of staff really proficient in English was frustrating at times Room average, not modern although clean and staff generally pleasant..but hardly any English speaking staff. Disappointing that I was charged 38 AUD for staining a towel with hair dye...which easily comes out in the wash. Location nowhere near any attractions..view looked more like a concentration camp. WiFi drops out all the time. Would not stay here again!

I had to stay here due to missed flight. Turkish airlines provided this accommodation as compensation and I have to agree I a really good hotel though a bit aged with the rooms. The service had been great, helpful, supportive and attentive. In this regard I emphasize the exceptional great service of David in the bar.well done.

I had a lovely smoking suite, on the 10th floor, and the staff were great, especially “Busra” at reception, she was wonderful, always happy and so helpful. There’s a cafe beside the hotel that makes beautiful Cheese omelettes. Totally enjoyed my stay at this hotel, also nice views.

Set in an industrial area, but close to the metro. The night restaurant staff are not very good at all. But the chamber maids are fantastic The breakfast staff are also very good. The reception staff are ok. The rooms are nice but dated and need refurbishing to be 5 star

The room service and lobby bar were excellent, restaurant is amazing with its diverse cuisine which I really enjoyed. Pool is a great too, as well as it has great inclusivity for a disable people (I had travelled with my disabled mother, experienced no issues).

I stayed at this hotel and are in their restaurant which I would rate as 5 start treatment and food. The breakfast was fantastic, hot, beautifully presented, and contained everything you could ever possibly need to start off the day, including soup, yes soup! Eylem served my table, she was very professional, kind, courteous and represented the hotel in a positive way. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone staying in Turkey. Thank you Eylem

Great hotel in terms of well maintained rooms and service. The breakfast served was just about OK. The location is nothing great to talk about. They need to train the staff to be more courteous and friendly.
