Delicious food, well presented, affordable prices. Very nice restaurant and service. Very clean also. We had the Calamari Rissotto, Grilled Octopus, and Avocado Crab.

After 10days eating only tajine and cous cous around all Morocco😅, this restaurant made my dreams come true. We had finally a different dinner, with fish (grilled octopus spectacular and shrimps with saffron sauce spectacular). Staff very kind and the decoration was very impressive and interesting. I strongly suggest it 😍

The whole sky does not have enough stars for this place! Michelin level of food at low prices. The food is a piece of art; it satisfies both your eyes and your taste buds. You almost feel guilty for eating it! We had the pleasure to try the octopus salad, the king prawns with quinoa and the John Dory fillet. Everything tasted like ambrosia! As a bonus, the staff is lovely, the style is quirky and the music is pleasant!

We must echo other reviews that this food is edible art. Gorgeous presentation and exquisite flavours. The king prawns were amazing. The staff are also very kind and friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere with fun decor and a good playlist. Choukran for a memorable, delicious experience. Highly recommended restaurant!!

My tour guide recommended this restaurant when I was visiting Essaouira. I'm glad I went. Super fresh seafood and amazing service. I ordered their crab & avocado salad, and John Dory. Both were exceptional! They get fresh seafood from the fishermen on a daily basis. My server Zoubir was super nice and friendly. Check out this gem when you are visiting. You won't regret it.

Best price quality food in Morocco! The King Prawns dish (140) is one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life! Grilled Octopus (100) is also really good! Order the juices (either carrot + orange + ginger or the cocktail fruits)! Plates prepared like a 5* restaurant!

We are here last night (July 2022). The food and service were both amazing. Nit to be missed whilst visiting Essaouira.

The interior of the place was a treat itself. The price was very reasonable and the taste was spectacular! The staff were so nice it seems like we went on a fine dining experience. We were served with a nicely curated plate and very sumptuous flavor!! I would highly recommend!!

Came here on a recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is small and fills fast but there is a reason for it. The food was fantastic, and was a break from traditional Moroccan food. The King Prawns with Saffron Sauce was heaven on my taste buds. I have never tasted anything so complex yet so divine. Also ordered the carrot, orange and ginger drink and that was perfect. Highly recommend

If you're looking for a solid dining experience in Essaouira, The Loft might be worth considering. During my visit, I tried the grilled octopus and while it was okay, it didn't particularly stand out. The flavor was good, but it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. However, overall it was a decent dish that was satisfying. The service at The Loft was also okay. The staff was kind and attentive, making sure that my needs were met throughout the meal. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu, and were overall pleasant to interact with. One thing that stood out about The Loft was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a trendy and modern vibe with a unique and artsy decor.

This restaurant has great atmosphere and the food is sooo good at a very reasonable prices. The saffron prawns was one of the best dishes I have had in Morocco overall. Lovely people and fast service. Thank you

This was definitely the best restaurant so far in Essaouira. The place has a very nice retro theme and you can hear tunes of Elvis's times and it just comes together well with the decor. A warm welcome and the owner brought some nice warm baguette slices and green and black olive tapenades before drinks came in quirky cactus shaped glasses. Dishes were: Octopus salad, Crab & avocado, Grilled octopus, Gambas with saffron sauce, Dukkah marinated chicken (Bill was a total of 590DH) Only the crab & avocado had less oompf (too much avocado) than the other dishes which really fired on all cylinders. Would highly recommend to anyone here nonetheless. Best place for octopus for sure.

The place was a little bit darker, that was my only concern. Meals taste delicious and clean/safe, staff is okay. Good to taste local marine foods.

I had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant when visiting Morocco recently. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the seafood was amazing. I had the octopus and my husband had a shrimp dish as our main. The appetizers were amazing too. Everything was excellent and very reasonably priced. The Loft is worth the visit when in Essaouira

Intimate and cozy restaurant with some of the most delicious food and coffee we have ever had. I got the octopus and thought it was so amazing and well cooked. My friends enjoyed the fish fillet and king prawns. It was extremely reasonably priced, and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend!

Had a superb lunch of pasta, prawns and octopus with additional extras - a beautiful salad, bread and tapenade. The food was excellent, freshly made, the ambience welcoming and the service immaculate. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed, pleasant and inexpensive but filling lunch.
