The best restaurant I've been to in Morocco and one of the best I've been to in general. Let's start with the great atmosphere - restaurant interior is beautiful, music is well suited and service is remarkable. We even had a live magic show while waiting for deserts. The food was absolutely amazing, really recommend the melted brie cheese, the huge and we'll roasted steak and the lamb shoulder. Prices are very reasonable for this high standard place. You must visit if you're in Essaouira.

Great restaurant for Moroccan and Spanish-influenced food with modern touches on local cuisine. The cocktails are excellent as is the local wine they offer. Very good service and beautiful ambience. Absolutely recommended and we would go back

Amazing restaurant with great food and stunning decoration. Given the food quality and the great seatings it’s definitely worth it. We had a small show by a magician at the end of our meal which was very entertaining. Much recommended !

Lovely restaurant in a nice location in Essaouira. It offers an international menu with Moroccan twists. Very nice indeed yet pricier than other restaurants. The interiors are fantastic and the service was very kind. The grilled octopus was on spot and the wine menu is not to be overlooked although cocktails are the house specialty.

There's a reason why this place has nearly 5 stars after hundreds of reviews. Currently enjoying a world class old fashioned with batatas bravas. Couldn't think of a complaint if you paid me to. I have no doubt their entire menu is exactly as fine. Also, the service is friendly and surprisingly fast, given how busy they are right now. Don't miss Dar Baba.

I really enjoyed eating at Dar Baba in Essaouira. The place looks lovely and feels very peaceful, which made my meal even better. The decoration inside is beautiful too. The food was great. Every dish I tried was tasty and made me happy. It’s clear they take good care in making their food. The people working at Dar Baba were really nice. They were friendly and did their job well. They made me feel welcome and taken care of. Overall, Dar Baba is a great place to eat in Essaouira. It’s got yummy food, a pretty and quiet setting, and nice staff. I think it’s a perfect spot for a good meal in a relaxed place.

This was genuinely an incredible place to enjoy food and drinks. Firstly the decor is simply stunning. I’ve not seen a restaurant with better interior style. Then there’s the staff - 10/10 service, and of course the food is magnificent.

We had the fried brie as a starter which was just great and not too nutty. Main was the baba burger and it was amazing. Well done and medium were absolutely great. The staff was really nice to us, you get to be served by two to three people and they come check on you every few minutes. The ambiente is great, but it can get tight. Downsides: it is really pricy to eat. And after 7, it gets full and loud. I couldn‘t hear my own voice at some point and got a headache but i‘m still satisfied all in all.

I have dined at Dar Baba twice since arriving in Essaouira, and I will do it again while I’m here. It’s a stunning restaurant with wonderful customer service, food and music — simply everything! I came by this afternoon to take these photos of the excellent decor!

I thought that I never gonna see such great service in my home country.. but indeed this restaurant has it all ! It’s a wonderful traditional and beautiful place where you can enjoy delicious Moroccan Food a long side with international cuisine and good wine tasting menu.. Staff are so humble and welcoming.. you feel like a VIP guest 😅.. Hope they keep doing well and great job Highly recommend croquettes de poulet au citron sooooo yammy

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. From the service (staff changing utensils in each course, refilling wine the moment glasses get empty..) to the friendliness of the staff and the overall atmosphere. They gave us great recommendations and explained the menu to help us choose which meal/drink to go for. The starters were definitely plentiful in size and tasted great. The avocado and crab starter was super refreshing and the patatas were amazing. The main (octopus) was absolutely delicious even for a couple who don’t eat much seafood. It was a great ratio of octopus to sides and the flavour combinations complimented eachother very well. I would greatly recommend this place not only for a little date night to celebrate a special occasion, but also for any meal. An absolute 10/10!

Wow the food here is great and the service very good and the staff are very nice and helpful. The interior is fun and vibrant. We have eaten every night for a week in Essaouira and this was our best meal. The burger meat was very nice and the shell fish tagine has amazing flavour and tender. Everything was perfect so highly recommend. The only slight criticism was they added 4% on the credit card machine, this is a business expense that should be included in the price, so I paid cash.

Wonderful birthday treat, fantastic service. The food was delicious. We started with a beautiful cocktail which was an 💥 explosion of flavour in the mouth. before a tapas starter and a fantastic main course. Eclectic decor with a 70's vibe through out the place, each room with a different decor. Beware though you have to climb many stairs to get to this dining experience, so not for the disabled ♿.

Woah! This place was incredible! Felt like a cartel in Columbia! A mixture of class/elegance and hipster attitude. The personnel is young and wonderful! Gave us the best suggestions of dishes and drinks to try! The best resto in Essaouira, not to miss out ☝️

Can I give 10 stars? Amazing place in artistic decor and atmosphere, with live entertainment. Food is of high culinaire standards and the cocktails are tasty. All is superfresh and of good quality products. Employees are very professional. Very good price-quality. A great distinct concept in this region. Will recommend to all friends and will definitely come back!

Such an amazing bar/restaurant with the coolest vibe, great music and fantastic service!! We had the croquettes, calamari and lamb shoulder. The lamb was to die for! Also a great selection of drinks and fantastic cocktails. Still think about this place!
