Pasta Tagliatelle for our Pesto Pasta and Frutti di mare was too al dente but better than soggy. Taste was very good and perfect portion. For dessert, we had delicious Raspberry Panna cotta and No alcohol tiramisu. We love the ambiance and all the ladies working there! On our 7th day of our 2 months Morocco trip and this is by far my best meal since we arrive here!

It has come to my attention that you replied to my friend’s review, and completely dismissed our opinion, so here’s a piece of my mind, the way you addressed his critical honest review says a lot about you customer service, labelling a review as “useless” goes further to show your disregard of the customer’s dining experience, and it also shows your incompetence to serve an actual delicious food, let alone the condescending discriminatory attitude that I have received because apparently “I’m not a tourist”, and that’s what really set me off. I suggest that you try to elevate the dining experience, by hiring actual chefs and less racist staff. Thank you.

AMAZING! I would've given 6 stars if possible, for us the best place to eat in whole Essaouira. The place is run by women only and having been to Italy, I can easily say this was some of the best pasta I ever had! On top, you can get all the dishes gluten free. If in Essaouira, please go there and support this wonderful pasta restaurant!

I have just been in this place to eat pasta in Essaouira. And I found it really authentic can you believe? The prices are quite cheap so I went for a second run of linguine vongole as I was impressed. Very good Italian food in Morocco’s Essaouira is a must try.

Great pasta! I was sick of eating tajines and had craving for pasta, so I ended up here. I had the seafood tagliatelle. I was disappointed at first as they did not have mussels, especially since they had just opened up for the evening and there was only one other client in the restaurant (it was very early). We are at a fishing port, how is this happening? Still, the shrimps were plentiful, the pasta with tomato sauce tasty and the calamari excellent. Thank you, glad I came to pasta Baladin 😊

Very solid choice for price/quality ratio. Perfect for having a quick lunch in the middle of exploring the medina. Staff were super efficient and overall friendly. The food quality was great, a good amount of cheese was provided and the appetiser was good and free of charge. Would totally comeback in the future!

This place is so delicious, so much so we ate here 3 times during our time in Essaouira. It is run by women and the atmosphere, decor and the plating of the food is beautiful. Love that you get to choose which pasta noodles you want with your dish too. If you visit, don’t skip out on the tiramisu as it’s 10/10! Thank you very much :)

Gluten free pasta!!! Need I say more?! Our server was very warm, welcoming and readily was able to assist me with my dietary needs. I had a delicious bowl of fussili carbonara. Left with a full belly and full heart.

A good and clean place to eat in the center of the old town of essaouira. Service is amazing and the prices are fair for the quality of the pasta. Pesto was so tasty, but the one star missing is about the lack of variety in the menu, not so many choices.

We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious menu allowing you to choose your pasta and combine with a sauce of your choice. Gluten free pasta available and plenty of vegetarian options. Reasonable prices and great big serving sizes. Would definitely come again!

Basic but tasty, they use dry packet pasta, nothing fancy, but kind of nice to have something simple after a while of Tagines and Cous Cous. Friendly staff. Give you nice little breads and olives, parmeiganno, oils too. So all in all it does the trick. Only lost a star because of the packet pasta.

Best Pasta I ever ate in Morocco. Good portion size and the tea was also great. I will come again next time I'm in Essaouira.

The staff at Pasta Baladin was wonderful and our food was exceptional. We had the pasta bolonaise and it was fresh made. The manager Felix even went out of his way to get us Parmesan cheese. What a great gem of the city!

We ate here a few nights ago. A guy was coercing everyone nearby to go to his expensive restaurant up the street, but we came back and ate here. Great size serving. Tasty. Cooked to perfection. Great value and friendly service in clean setting.

We really enjoyed our bolognese and pesto pastas. The caprese salad was also wonderful!
