Best place to eat in Essaouira!!! Since I’ve discovered this little family restaurant, where all the family works, I did all my meals there as the quality, service and price of food in unbeatable. I tried other restaurants in Essaouira but overpriced or service wasn’t good, so if you ever in Essaouira Chez Youssef is a MUST visit! My favourite poulet zitrone and kefta tajines. And the Absinthe tea delicious!

Absolutely authentic Moroccan experience with tasty food prepared by a very friendly chef. We had the meat and plum tagine, tomato salad and grilled sardines. Highly recommended.

Small place with great food and good price.

The chef is really friendly and the food was amazing. The came back 3 more times and had almost all of the tajines and couscous. You can seat on the second (tea salon) or third floor where the rooftop is.

Best restaurant in Essaouira! We had a very morroccan dinner in the terrace and everything was perfect. We came late evening even though there was no one in the restaurant, but the owner was very welcoming and we had a great fish tajine + sardines. This family restaurant is a must if you're in town.

A beautiful family restaurant, one of the best tagines I had on Morocco. The lamb with plum and almonds is highly recommended. We ate on Tue small upper floor, tables are close together but adds to atmosphere. Highly Recommended.

Chez Youssef El Baraka Restaurant is really a great place to enjoy delicious Moroccan tagines, or Couscous. The Service is excellent. Youssef is the owner and chef. I had lunch and dinner here, which I enjoyed very much. I recommend this place to my friends and family members.

Small place with few tables, very good food for small prices. We had grilled sardines and shrimps and they were really tasty.

Nice family restaurant with beautiful interior. I had fried squid with fries, Morrocan salad and orange juice. Portions are medium sized and taste good

We did takeout twice in a row from this fabulous restaurant - got sent off with a basket with a piping hot tagine and bread in it. Perfect to enjoy in our riad whilst our toddler was sleeping. We tried three tagines - meat with almonds and dates, citrus chicken and kefta. All amazing and very repeatable.
