Great experience. We ate ramen, fried chicken and fluffy cheese cake and it was absolutely delicious ! We went to Japan several times and ate their food, and their meals are almost the same as what we had in Tokyo. Using Moroccan ingredients to get that umami taste is quite a challenge to me. The food takes some time to be made which gave us time to have a talk with shunya and his wife. The small house has Moroccan spirit with small cute japanese decoration. Would definitely come back

Great food and very friendly staff! We were seated in a little beach hut at the top of the building with an amazing view of the ocean. The salad, ramen, and ice coffee tasted amazing. Great value for money, would definitely recommend!

Glad to enjoy some real ramen in an unique setting. The private dining loft was a delight. The cool ocean breeze greets you while you slurp up bowls of shiyo ramen and nibble on chicken karage. Shunya is very hospitable and the prices are reasonable. We ate their twice. Just make sure to check the time for when it is open. I suggest arriving at noon or making reservations. The only thing missing was a tall glass of Asahi Super dry!

Totally recommend this place for real Japanese Ramen🍜 made by the Japanese owners that run the small and hidden gem in Essaouira. The setting is adventures. Try to get the private room on top with Ocean view.

The only authentic ramen shop in all of Morocco, need I say more ? The restaurant is owned and managed by a very friendly Japanese couple along their 2~ years old daughter Ruly 😍 The dishes offered are delicious authentic Japanese classics (Ramen, Tofu, Gyoza, Oyakodon, ...), a taste of Japan for the locals 🤤

Amazing Japanese food hidden in the Medina! A secret room upstairs with a breathtaking view over the ocean. The owner is so friendly and he has come to Morocco to inspire the young Japanese generation to travel and explore! He uses moroccan ingredients to create delicious ramen and karaage and much more. Wow the best ramen I have had, out of this world. This is the real deal and the owner is extremely friendly and is a very talented chef, with a great eye for detail in his cooking. Came here twice during my time in Essaouira as the food was so good. Would highly recommend… if you want one of the best ramens come check this place out, but be sure to call in advance. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem that will have you craving to come back.

Discovered this place here in Essaouira. The food was delicious (especially the eggplant!). Super fresh and the couple serving us were so friendly. You can see the cook takes his time to prepare the dishes and works super hygienic: only touches the ingredients with chopsticks. We loved it and will be back if we ever come to Essaouira again!

We had a delicious ramen here with a beautiful view of the ocean! Would highly recommend this place - run by a Japanese couple who were extremely nice and accommodating (when we arrived the place was full so they made us some space upstairs). Such a wonderful place; I wouldn't mind going back again at all!!

This is a very cute ramen place. We are glad that we found this place. Ramen was yummy and has a very nice beach hut type at the top floor. Prices are reasonable.
