Fantastic, healthy menu in a charming restaurant run by the loveliest couple. Was refreshing to have someone explain the menu in detail to us. Will definitely go back if time permits. Cool music was an added bonus.

When I tell you they have the best food I’ve ever tasted, I am not kidding and I experienced a lot of cuisines in my life time. The service was amazing the owners are seriously sweethearts, the atmosphere and location is perfect. Places like this make me fall in love with essaouira even more!

We stopped by for lunch and absolutely fell in love with the spot! The owners are so kind and thoughtful and clearly so passionate about Azouka and its food. The food was incredibly delicious and some of the best we had on our trip to Morocco. All of the dishes were fresh, fusion, creative, and so so tasty. We wish we could have had more time to go back! The music is also amazing and creates a perfect ambiance. This place is a must!!!

Such an amazing concept, went there today and I wish I had gone sooner. We ordered green hummus, olive tapenade and they were served with sourdough rye Foccacia. Everything was tasty but the tapenade was my favorite (chef's kiss). For drinks we ordered kefir drinks, one was with hibiscus and the second with coriander and rose (if I remember correctly). We will definitely go back in the future and try more of their tasty organic dishes.

Unquestionably my favourite place to eat in essaouira. Definite easy Sunday morning vibes, all the food and drinks are made fresh with love including this outrageously good spiced ginger beer I was served. I could not recommend this place enough.

My absolute gastronomy highlight in Essaouira. The owners are a friendly couple passionate about creating a warm welcoming atmosphere around food sharing. Everything from the sourdough bread, green hummus, and fermented drink overexceeded expectations. The place is vibrant and well situated in a square at the Medina. I can recommend if you’re looking for fresh, tasty dishes in a cozy setting.

This place is AMAZING. I wish I could give it more stars. I went for Omar & Jenny’s bi-weekly pop-up and I was blown away by how FRESH and delicious the food was. Amazing value too. Very cool location overlooking the square, and great vibe. Highly recommend it for a meal in Essaouira!

Most has already been said about this place...the food is refreshing, flavourful, and a cuisine that has become universal with vegetarian food. Try one or all dishes. The place is located upstairs and yes a must try. The other thing to remember- it is expensive as per Moroccan standards. It would be good if they could add few more drinks, juices.

We loved this food! Is was a lovely experience to do shared-lunch. Food was very unique and tasted really good. I believe the menu changes frequently, lovely couple that runs this restaurant. We LOVED the toasted rye bread!

This place is amazing! They really know a thing about fermentation. I just love how they mix the ingredients, tastes and textures. For me this is a real gastronomic experience. Great for vegetarians and vegans, the potions are a medium size but it even better - you can try different plates and enjoy a variety of tastes. Their sour dough bread is the best. My absolute favorite place in Essaoira so far.

Absolutely incredible food that’s inspired by Morocco but with significant international influences. Honestly a level of flavor that you could find in Paris or London. Very inventive dishes and lovely people — a must when visiting Essaouira!

Lovely people, amazing hospitality. A truly special place full of warmth and love. Owned and run by amazing couple Souf and Kaja, their passion for hospitality is seen in every small detail. The food is delicious, simply crafted from fresh, local ingredients. The changing fermented drinks and juices are full of interesting flavours. And the music is just perfect, given Souf is an amazing DJ its hardly surprising! Certainly a must visit in Essaioura and I promise if you come here you will most certainly return! Thank you so much you two and see you soon!

I’ve come regularly to Essaouira for ten years and this is for sure one of my culinary highlights! The food is absolutely delicious, creative and made with so much love and passion. Shoutout to the hummus and sourdough focaccia which are divine. The owners are lovely and own a farm to cook local produce. Everything from the ingredients to the non alcoholic drinks to the second hand furniture is so thoughtful and designed with a lot of care. What an inspiring place. We came 4 times in a week (!) and will definitely be coming back!

This is my favourite place to eat in Essaouira! The menue is perfect for snacking or a full meal, the food and drinks are all creative and delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and the music is always good. The bread is excellent!

Beautiful, fresh, flavourful, mindfully prepared food. We had the whole menu because we were so hungry - and were very impressed. Delicious and each dish so lovely on the eye. A real treat after being tagined out. Loved the goat’s cheese and water kefir (we hadn’t heard of it before but just the right amount of sweet and so refreshing!). The eatery also has a super cool, laidback vibe - really artfully put together. The owners were great to chat to, genuine and sweet, who gave us a scrumptious cardamom cinnamon bun on the house. You must try this place if you’re in Essaouira!

Best in town! Kaja & Souf are really bringing something in to this market and community; sourdough, original recipes, quality products & service, fresh and unique vibes and tunes.

Absolutely incredible food - the best we had in Morocco. A new place in Essaouira that I’m sure will become very popular very soon. We were recommended it by a friend and were so glad we went. We ended up going back twice during our couple of days stay in Essaouira.

Wonderful spot with unique homemade drink and food options. Small plates to share and try different things - we especially liked the hummus and the (weekly special) spiced onion tart. The sourdough bread and focaccia is absolutely fantastic. Friendly service too! Thanks.

We spent a very good moment at Azouka eatery: lovely terrace, delicious and fresh food, warm and welcoming people. All that with nicely performed live music

Best food in Essaouira so far... Delicious sourdough bread, flavorful mediterranean dishes with only the best preparations and ingredients... The cookie desert with ice cream is the best desert of morocco... They just started but from day one 5 stars!!!

Favourite lunch spot we found during our week in Essaouria!! The food here is stand out - Beautiful sourdough bread and the best homemade ricotta. The owners are committed to using high quality produce and it definitely shows. Also make sure you don’t miss out on their divine sesame and chocolate chip cookies!!!!

lovely little spot overlooking a cute local square with a nice overall vibe. Come for the delicious fresh and seasonal food and you might stick around a little while to enjoy the well curated music selection. The hosts are super nice as well!

This was a wonderful experience. Kaia and Soufiane have taken great care of us. The brunch was awesome and appetizing. It was composed by fresh vegetables and excellent soroudough bread (foccacia) and cookies. The drinks are very refreshing and a 100% natural as the food. I also highly recommend the terrace of the restaurant that is very pleasant too ! One of the best spot to have a brunch in the medina of Essaouira for sure !

OMG! This was so delicious! The bread is the best I've had in a while. We ordered the homemade ricotta and the cherry tomatoes with bread and everything paired so well together. Finished it off with an ice cream sandwich. Also had the juice of the day and the iced tea. Will be back again, the owners are so nice! Edit: we loved it so much we came back the next day! And by the way, this place is vegetarians friendly, and they are the only place I found in Essaouira serving pour over 3rd wave coffe!

It's not often that you find a place as special as azouka eatery. You can feel and taste the love the two owners have put into this place. The food is pure magic... and with the lovely chosen interior and the soul-fitting music the stay at the restaurant was the perfect combination for all senses!

👍👍 One of the best places to go to for a chilled afternoon/sunset time! You’re on the beach, enjoying the sunset while listening to music, prices are fair, yes service is not the fastest but you can go to the bar and ask, that didn’t bother us too much. What you see is what you get :)
