I had a wonderful experience for dinner, the servers are nice and friendly while the food was AMAZING. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavour itself… so good!! The atmosphere was also intimate, they changed the lighting when it got darker out and it had a relaxing, date night feels to it.

Had a great lunch at this place. Loved the food. Infact, the best Italian food that I had in Toronto. The servers were polite and interested in serving well. Would have liked to experience the seating inside .... may be next time.

We had a lovely dinner here. I've frequented their midtown location many times and this location once 2 years ago. Overall, they've improved on service and pasta portions are bigger. We sat outside in their enclosed patio which was just as warm as inside. The ambience was warm and cozy. Food was delicious, their chilli oil is spicy and I love putting it on pizza. Everyone working there was friendly and our server was great.

Glad to have this restaurant near my condo. The service was fantastic and the ambience was on point. The price was a bit high but I get it the pandemic really messed things up for everyone financially. The food was delicious I will be back for sure on a special occasion. I have no idea how this place is so highly rated and what exactly they’re based on. While the service was decent, the food was nothing close. The litmus test for any Italian restaurant is their Margherita pizza. The pizza here was a JOKE, we literally thought of it as some cheese and sauce on thin pita bread. I cannot believe how they served us that. Weird, for a spot with a grumpy manager who’s always checking around. The seafood appetizers and pastas were fine but nothing great, they still couldn’t erase the Margherita disaster. The cocktails were fine and the spot has a nice ambiance. However, I’m still baffled as to how it’s so highly rated. Wow.

I visited this restaurant with family and it was a great experience! The view is absolutely wonderful, the service excellent, and the food delicious! They have a great selection of wines too. The atmosphere is very chic as well. We will be coming back!

Worth a visit! La Vecchia knows how to make tasty food with authentic flavor. We went to for a birthday lunch date. We were served by Scott. The staff was polite and helpful. Scott also gave some good suggestions, was quick with the orders. There is a good variety of nut free, gluten free and vegetarian options. The ambience is fresh and lively! There are more than just one washrooms and they are clean. There's parking available on the street and nearby publix parking about a block away. The prices are reasonable for a fine Italian food experience.

It was the first time in La Vecchia Restaurant in the Lakeshore location. All the food was amazing and delicious. They were really fast. The staff was professional kind and helpful. The atmosphere was performed. The dessert was awesome. Nice music was playing all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My experience at this restaurant was simply wonderful. To start, the atmosphere was amazing. We were right by the lake, and the restaurant was so beautifully designed. The waitress was very helpful and nice, and the servers in general seemed to care about the customers' experience. I had ordered the Ravioli De Niro, which certainly did not disappoint. The portions may appear small, however, they are made so that they fill you up just enough to make it an amazing meal. The ravioli and all pasta there is made freshly, and you certainly can tell. The truffle was delicious but not overpowering. I then concluded with a tiramisu, which was excellent. It tasted very fresh and very delicious. You should note however that the food is certainly not cheap, but I would give a strong recommendation nonetheless. There are also plenty of accommodations for vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten-free eaters. This is a magical dining experience, and I would give this restaurant 5 stars all across the board.

Beautiful place and with a gorgeous view nearby! I cannot express my gratitude fully after we were delayed for an entire hour and the staff kept our reservation and managed to find us a table within minutes of us arriving after all! We're very grateful for everyone that helped and served us! It was a very delightful evening thanks to the staff and the food made it worthwhile for us too! I highly recommend this establishment for anyone for any occasion!

Brunch at the La Vecchia Restaurant Lakeshore exceeded my expectations! The talented singer's soothing melodies added a delightful touch to the atmosphere. I savored the Linguine Alla Carbonara, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with cheese. My family's diverse orders were all fantastic, and the desserts were simply divine. The portions left us thoroughly satisfied. A truly amazing experience! Will definitely come back for another Brunch or Dinner 👍

This place has been on our list for quiet sometime and we finally got to treat ourselves. Such stunning ambiance right on the Lake Ontario, the service itself was top notch. For the food we started off with Bruschettas as starter, for the mains we went with a traditional margarita pizza ( wood fired ) along with the chicken pasta which was filling and we ended our meal with a much needed espresso shot. Overall great experience and we would be visiting here again soon

Great atmosphere with lovely old Italian music playing while old movies are projected on the wall. Beautiful interior and photos on the wall. Excellent place for a date. Service was excellent. Whether it was our main waiter or everyone else that brought us drinks, food, etc., everyone was professional, nice and super chill. As for the food, we got the La Vecchia pizza and the seafood linguine. The pizza was delicious but looked very plain. Reminded me of the Diavola from Pizzeria Libretto but PL's looks beautiful. The seafood linguini was delicious as well, although several of the shells were unopened and weren't able to be eaten at all so that was a bit of a waste. Overall, had a great time, the service is solid, the food is solid, atmosphere is fantastic 👌

Loved the food and the service. We ordered the special burrata, foccacia bread, gnocchi and the mushroom sacchetti. All were freshly made and delicious. The waitress Taylor was really friendly and helpful. Parking was a little hard to find and ensure to make a reservation ahead of time, they do get quite busy. Will definitely visit again.

We were a group of 14 for 2 bday girls. Coming from a very loud and demanding background, the staff were very welcoming, very patient, very sweet and made us feel like home. The food was very Italian and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful with all the lovely decorations around us in the patio which was all in glass and heated. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend and come again and again with family and more friends 👍👌

Beautiful restaurant! Love the writing on the wall. Went there for a birthday celebration. The food was extremely good! 😋 parking is it bit hard to find but once u find a parking stop it, it was only a few minutes to walk to the restaurant. The portions of the food was just the right amount! I would definitely go again and try other items on the menu

I photographed my first wedding here at the end of last summer and was pleasantly surprised not just the delicious food and amazing service, but also the different backdrops for photos. First off, as soon as I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and asked if I needed anything from them. Since the space for the ceremony was on the dark side, I requested that the lighting be raised so I could capture ceremony without using a flash, which I find to be distracting to everyone involved with or watching the proceedings. As mentioned earlier - the food that was brought out for guests and my clients insisted I try, was remarkably tasty. I definitely need more of those gigantic meatballs in my life. Finally, finding good locations to photograph the bride and groom and their guests after the ceremony was a cinch. The backdrop of the bar is stunning, but more importantly the proximity to the waterfront with the downtown skyline in clear view is just the best! I really hope I'm able to shoot another event here but in the meantime, I think I'll returning with my partner to enjoy their delicious food, as it's just a short bike ride away from where I love. I've been to this place multiple times already. This restaurant is perfect to visit for special occasions (I would recommend dine in area since they have much nicer tables and chair and the interior is so pretty). You can also go to the patio for more casual purpose. The only thing is I cannot bring my dog with me to the patio...they said I could but the space is very limited. I think if they can improve the washroom area, it will be perfect because it was very dirty!!🥹 Overall the food and service is great. I would highly recommend!

Great location, very nice fittings, lovely ambience, and their service staff and management are just amazing and made our visit memorable. However, the food isn’t necessarily the best in terms of quality nor taste. For the price you pay there are many better options with much higher food quality and some literally around the corner. Wouldn’t mind going here again, but perhaps only for coffee or a drink.

Vegetarian food options are good. We tried Gnocchi Pasta & it was delicious. Ambience is just perfect. And the view of the lake by the restaurant is just perfect. One of the best Italian food I have ever had.

This restaurant is by far one of my favourite Italian restaurants by the lake. The food is delicious, the staff are all so warm and kind, and I just love the ambience. Rory has served us on many occasions and he is so friendly and always takes really good care of us. I have come to this restaurant for brunch, lunch and dinner countless times and I have tried many different items on their menu and I have never once been disappointed. They also have a great wine and drink menu, and their patio is dog-friendly, which is a plus. This restaurant is a perfect spot for brunch, date night, lunch with the family, or a night out with friends. If you love delicious Italian food and top-notch service, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Late review, but I went with to this location with my partner for our anniversary. Although early, they happily let us in, and swiftly serviced us. It was our first time there, so we were nervous to see if its popularity lives up to an honest reviewer like myself. Immediately, our server assisted us with wine and drinks, excellently pronouncing the items as well, with professionalism. We had bruschetta for appetizers and we could tell the vegetables were fresh, but also very savoury. For our mains, I cannot recall the names but they were absolutely delicious, with an excellent portion size. My cocktail wasn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but that’s my fault for choosing it. We enjoyed our mains and felt satisfied with our lunch. Upon delay to one of our orders, we even had who seemed like the owner come up to us and apologize, which we found extremely respectable, something you don’t get everywhere. But, in terms of atmosphere, the people that attended the same time as us had no respect for the people around them, but the restaurant was beautiful and I enjoyed the theme. Definitely coming back, especially in the summer where we can sit on the patio. Thank you!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant. Food was good had the lamb. Vegetables were crunchy. Waiter lacked a smile but the overall service was good. I did expect more and maybe this is why I didn't get that wow feeling. Overall good experience.

Despite arriving 15 minutes late for our reservation, we were promptly seated. The table was a tad long, and the low chairs posed a challenge for conversation due to ambient noise. Our server was both efficient and delightful, remembering our requests flawlessly. We indulged in two appetizers, two pastas, and concluded with a pizza that doubled as dessert – every dish was a culinary delight. Fresh ingredients and distinct flavors left us craving more with each bite. For an exceptional date night, La Vecchia is a must-visit!

We loved the restaurant. The servers are very welcoming and sweet. They felt like family members of the owner by the way they were taking care of us. The food was phenomenal and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food they serve. I will definitely be coming back.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We had a reservations for 8:30pm. Once we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to sit outdoors, which has a covered and heated patio. We chose to sit indoors. Immediately, we felt the music was loud which made everyone speak louder so it was challenging to speak to the person sitting across from you. The service was decent. The restaurant was quite busy but I think the service could be better. Our appetizer arrived after the people sitting beside us and we ordered before them. It was the exact same appetizer so not sure if the kitchen delivered it to them in exchange of our table. We ordered bruschetta- which was delicious. For our mains, we got the margarita pizza, which was also delicious and fresh. We also got the Pomodoro pasta which had black olives and made the dish overall too tangy for my taste. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. If I had gotten it without the olives, it might have been much better. Overall, it’s perfect for date night as it had such romantic vibes but be prepared to be loud if you wish to talk to the other persons sitting across of the table.

To top it off, I indulged in their tiramisu cake for dessert. It was, in a word, exceptional. The balance of flavors was spot on, and it was evident that high-quality ingredients were used. I would usually plan my day and already know what I’ll have for breakfast, lunch, dessert and dinner. However, for this day, I just go with the flow and I was so grateful I stumbled upon this restaurant which not only has a lovely live music but also delivers amazing brunch selections! I couldn’t boast more! The food was outstanding. chef’s kiss! Is this real? I can’t believe the sides (the roasted potatoes and the veggies) of Scallopine Diano Marino were SO GOOD! Did they use magic? It’s just the side dishes! It’s not supposed to take over the spotlight but the taste was mind-blowing. The mushroom cream sauce? what can ever go wrong with mushroom and cream? they’re dreamy. The Taglietelle Al Pollo was served with fresh tagliatelle and sautéed chicken with sun-dried tomatoes (this definitely elevate the taste to the next level) tossed with this amazing creamy basil pesto sauce. I inhaled this plate 🥹 I’m in heaven. The French toast was highly recommended by our lovely server, but unfortunately it’s the least that we enjoyed out of the four brunch dishes we ordered. I expected fluffy but it was dense. The service was above and beyond! the atmosphere was excellent. Definitely the best brunch I had so far this year. and the location? makes it even more perfect! Thank you for existing. Dining here really made my day.

Such a great place to visit. I came here for my birthday and I had an amazing time. The ambience is really nice, my boyfriend and I sat in the heated patio area which was in fact heated very well so that was awesome. We started off with the fresh Buffalo mozza and it was creamy and delicious. I got the lamb shank and my boyfriend got the steak. The lamb shank fell right off the bone cooked to perfection and the steak was also cooked to perfection. We both got drinks and ended the night off with dessert. The chocolate cake was delicious. Definitely a piece to share for too as it is very rich and decedent not my cup of tea but still it was delicious for a few bites. I got the berry parfait and it was very fresh and delicious. Definitely a beautiful place and I would recommend any day.

We used to go to the old location and we always loved their food. But this was very upscale and they made us feel pampered with their service and their coffee.They were very nice and polite and the service was great. We loved the different salads and the kids loved the Pizza Margarita.We were expecting something mouthwatering for the pasta but it didn’t meet our expectations. Don’t leave the place without a macchiato/ espresso that was great.

It was our first time dining at La Vecchia. Overall dining experiences from the moment we made the reservation (6 people) to eating our dessert were exceptional. The detailed attention to their service was very impressive and the staff are fabulous! staff). The fish plates (branzino & grilled octopus), pasta and pizza were all excellent. All 6 guests highly recommend La Vecchia. Keep up the exceptional & detailed focus on the Service, Food and reward your Server & overall staff they’re amazing.

This restaurant is a must experience and one of a kind for sure. If you love Italian Food, great Ambience, great Service and amazing food, then this place is definitely for you. Be it the drinks or the food or the service, everything was just perfect and on point. I would also like to share another instance when we didn't have a good experience visiting a different branch location the last time thus I was a little skeptical before eating here. Well I am glad that we decided to have our dinner here as it was totally worth it. We are definitely visiting again.

Fantastic atmosphere. We had a reservation for two and we both had a very delightful experience that goes from service to food. The risotto was delicious, the carpaccio was definitely one of the best we’ve had. Wine and coffee also was a great pick. Looking forward to go back soon.
