We were sad to leave after just one night, enjoying one of the winter packages which included a fabulous massage in the spa. Dinner in the Garden restaurant was delicious, a beautiful setting with a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Service excellent. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the beautiful, luxurious coach house rooms. These include a lounging area with sofa and television. Beautiful bathroom and cosy bedroom, you don't really want to leave but you must see the main house, spa and wander the grounds. Service throughout or stay was exceptional. Staff clearly enjoy working here and we cannot wait to return when we are due a treat :-) Yes it's expensive but here, you actually get what you have paid for. What a stay. Thank you so much.

Lovely setting and very good food but very disappointing on hotel’s policy on accepting certain staff that was very visible ill. I never been so uncomfortable to be serve in a restaurant. As the staff was very good, unfortunately one person was caught heavily and sweating. Unfortunately in this current context of flus, viruses and Covid made our experience somewhat distressing. Bowman

Amazing and historic venue, they pay homage to its past throughout the main house with pictures, rooms and bars named after key people. Excellent food, drinks and service with an on site spa, and a couple of different restaurants across a big site which will have you riding in golf buggys between them. Golf course also along side and tennis courts with an in and out door pool at the spa. Worth a visit if you can.

My husband and I had booked the Garden restaurant for a Sunday lunch, and packed some things in case we decided to stay overnight for a little getaway from London, which we did. We’ve been to the Garden restaurant before and always love the food, ambiance, and service, especially this time trying their Sunday roast. It was our first time staying at the hotel which is an absolutely stunning property. We had our 8 month old daughter so everything from the restaurant to the hotel staff were so accommodating. The Garden restaurant, breakfast and deli all made her puréed food even though we brought our own just in case. When we were booking a room at the front desk they were also thoughtful enough to ask if we wanted a room with a bathtub to make it easier with our daughter. We ended up staying in a Garden house cottage and it was perfect! Though small, it was fine for the 3 of us and very cozy. We had an outdoor patio and table which was nice. The turndown service was so thoughtful to leave a rubber duck which my daughter pretty much always plays with in the bath, and a little canvas bag with baby products which are amazing. We loved waking up in the morning to the countryside air and views which were covered in lovely frost and looked pretty. The lounge areas with the fireplace were also nice. We absolutely loved the spa and the swimming pools which we were able to take our daughter during the kids’ times. She loved swimming in the indoor pool. My husband and I took turns using the perfectly heated outdoor pool and other spa facilities. We also managed to get a skate in as they had an outdoor ice rink and that was great as well. The staff all around were wonderful! We can’t wait to return and it was a perfect short getaway from London!

Such a lovely time at Beaverbrook this evening - staff, setting and supper all wonderful. Thank you to the team at the Deli - Rosie was very sweet - and Juliet for the excellent customer service. Can't recommend enough. We'll be back. xx

This review is based on the restaurant. To sum up in one word: OVERRATED! I came for my 30th birthday with some family, with myself personally choosing this venue for the occasion due to its reputation and being more special than the average high street restaurant. Well, I wish I had booked one of those instead. The menu is extortionate and not worth what you eat. I felt embarrassed to have chosen this restaurant as I saw my family grimacing at the prices, and ordering starters for mains in an effort to save money. This meal was also my gift from my Mum and Sister, who felt terrible that we did not enjoy the experience and this my present. A friend also phoned ahead and paid for a glass of Prosecco as a birthday treat for myself, which the team delivered to me on the day. They did not state that my friend had purchased this, and instead took the credit themselves as offering me a complimentary drink. Therefore, I did not thank my friend and she felt embarrassed to ask if I received it. Overall, unless you have a lot of dosh to spend, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant here for any occasion, particularly a special one.

We only went for lunch, the location was stunning and truly something special, The service was okay but not outstanding with drinks orders forgotten and staff walking off before finishing a request. But the food was just average, it was soo expensive and we went for a present to my dad but it was just soo mediocre. my sister got excited for a dish that turned out to be out of stock because they didn't tell her before hand then she had some dry unimpressive pesto that cost £30 I have very mixed feelings it was a special place but average food at that price feels pretty horrendous to walk away from

Beautiful house with a warmth as well as grandeur. The Japanese dining room was elegant and relaxed. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the food was very good to excellent (Black Cod was my favourite, cooked to perfection!). We will be visiting again. Expect £100+ per person for dinner. This beautiful elegant house and the great staff/service are worth it.

Really posh restaurant with excellent service and really good food. As expected food and drinks were expensive, but I think it was worth it. We had some really nice starters and Steak for mains. It was cooked perfectly with a really nice sauce. I would definitely love to go back there, but need to save up for it first lol !

Charming and courteous staff. Lovely premises and facilities. Great swimming pool and spacious sun lounge area. Small but well equipped gym. Nice Japanese restaurant, very scrumptious tasting menu. Breakfast was nice but would expect a vegetarian breakfast i.e. vegetarian sausages, hash browns etc..to be included in the menu like most of their peers have.

Beaverbrook is a very special place to visit. The main thing that makes it special is the staff… they were all absolutely charming & did everything to be helpful. This is not found in many places now so I commend them on that. The spa is beautiful & Deli food is delicious. The food at the Garden House is always great tho I’m ready for a few changes to the menu.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beaverbrook. We had a few drinks at the main house and the service was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food at the Japanese grill was great. We will definitely be coming back.

Without a doubt my new favourite British hotel. Every single direction you look in at any time on the grounds could be a photograph, the staff couldn’t be more helpful or charming, and the attention to detail is second to none. It was fully booked when we stayed and yet it never felt remotely busy due to its size. The perfect mix of high luxury and the peace and tranquility of the English countryside. I didn’t stop smiling the whole time I was there

Everything about Beaverbrook was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end! The house & the grounds were the most beautiful experience to see and learn about the history, no words are enough to describe the place! We booked for a proposal in the family and they helped us plan the whole thing and made it the most perfect event we could have imagined. The staff were excellent and incredibly welcoming! Especially Sarah who was an absolute pleasure to plan the proposal with. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Stunning location to feel enchanted and secluded in. Staff are friendly & as charming as the decor. The food is as exactly as described, and a lovely extensive wine list to pair with- which comes with recommendations from their smellier The Garden house is Dog friendly, & worth letting them know you are bringing as they will be looked after

Went to the Japenese Restaurant yesterday with friends. The food did not disappoint, a great range of sensations and very well presented. Every dish was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Definitely a must to go place. I have lived in the area for 20 years and only just discovered this place! Will visit again for sure.

The overall experience was really lovely, the food, service and hotel itself were all beautiful. We had cold water and couldn’t have a hot or remotely warm bath or shower which was very unfortunate. The hotel didn’t give us anything to acknowledge this inconvenience, which was slightly disappointing. They were however very Generous with free waters and snacks in the rooms which was nice. Would visit again and hope for hot water next time.

Pizzeria! Massively overpriced and lacking in any atmosphere. Would prefer Franka manca every time and save £200 on a family dinner out. Not in the main house just a converted coach house…

My friend and I visited the day spa at Beaverbrook. We enjoyed the Wonderful Woman Spa Day with the addition of the full body scrub and glass of champagne. Super relaxing, great skin care products. Pools and thermal spa is wonderful. The entire experience was so really relaxing. The staff are all super friendly. We enjoyed the light lunch. There was a young man in the man in the Deli was lovely and so accommodating - unfortunately I didn’t get his name. Would recommend, I’ll be back again.

I've visited many high-end hotels around the world, but this one definitely has something special. If you compare it to other UK hotels, Beaverbrook is off the scale. Fantastic place.

Amazing 5 star spa in Surrey ! Beautiful spa .. 2 x 20 meter long pools for swimming and great spa facilities…! Top notice hospitality and service !! Great bar and Japanese restaurant too …! Beautiful place to go if you can afford it ..! Japanese restaurant quite pricey .. everything is pricey .. glass of Moët costs £28/- a glass ! Meal for 2 is easily £300/- with a half bottle of wine … not fancy wine ! Food was excellent though … Probably more expensive than Mayfair prices ..! Verdict 5/5 Budget - you will spend easily £1000 -1200 a day with room included !!!

Had a lovely lunch, food was exceptional and the service was very complimentary. The building and the grounds are in fabulous condition. Even though the weather was not so favourable I managed to walk and explore the grounds.

The hotel is the best I've seen in the UK. From the doorman to the spa manager, everyone is courteous. I'd like to visit often, but it's a bit far from me! I will consider becoming a member after Christmas! The Japanese restaurant here is the most meticulous Japanese cuisine I've had in the UK. You must try test menu. The ambiance is perfect, the food is fresh, and it can even compete with Japanese restaurants in Tokyo! All the waitstaff yesterday left a deep impression. Looking forward to going again at Christmas!❤️❤️

Beautiful hotel, took fiancé there for our anniversary and she was over the moon. We ate at the Japanese grill, had the tasting menu which was amazing. Service was also 5 star, will be visiting again.

A beautiful building with wonderful views to sink into the most relaxing weekend you could imagine. A wonderful place to unwind from a busy week in the City. Or take your partner for a romantic escape. The Japanese Dining room was my undoing, I could not stop ordering more salmon sashimi. And our sommelier was first class, really great company and spot on with his suggestions. Yes, it is expensive, but for a very good reason.

A place with breathtaking views and looots of history behind! Fantastic Japanese cuisine, also there is an Anglo-Italian cuisine and a Pizzeria which opens from 6:00pm. The ice rink is still there, therefore, don’t hesitate to visit it!!!

A fantastic place with first class customer service - the staff make you feel at home and welcome from the gate until you check out. The food was awesome and the style, decor, fit, standards and spa are second to none. A brilliant place. A special thanks to Morgan Chesse. We look forward to returning.

This place is unbelievably ’posh’! You have to drive through a manned barrier and have your name on the list to get in! It must be half a mile or more up their drive through the golf course. We were lucky enough to eat out doors on a perfect summer’s day looking at the beautiful garden. Service was good. We felt the starts were underwhelming and over priced; £8 for a few olives and the same for flatbread which might have been lovely but we’re basically popadoms without the dips. The main courses were better for some of us and the vegetables plentiful ( one portion enough for two) and very well cooked. We finished with ice creams which were pretty good. I guess if you are considering this value for money and price is probably not a high priority because I felt it was overpriced for what was on the plate in terms of sheer flavour but if you want to feel special, this will do it

I had the most incredible experience from start to finish at this hotel. From the warm and personal welcome to the beautiful decor of this amazing hotel and every person that works in it - wow! Our experience was made even more special by the fact my partner proposed (couldn't think of a better place!) and all the staff from reception to the bar staff and waitresses in the restaurant really went above and beyond for us to make it even more memorable. Complimentary room upgrade, champagne - the works! Felt completely spoiled from the second we arrived and honestly I just want to say a HUGE thank you to every person that helped make our time at Beaverbrook an experience we will never forget.
