From
the
moment
I
walked
in
I
experienced
a
completely
different
experience
than
my
wife
did
a
week
earlier.
Upon
speaking
to
a
front
desk
staff
member
I
was
immediately
spoken
down
to
as
I
tried
to
explain
why
I
was
arriving
at
9:30
am
(I
had
already
messaged
the
hotel
weeks
before
of
my
early
arrival
from
Canada)
I
was
told
very
harshly
that
there
was
already
3
parties
waiting
a
head
of
me
for
early
check
in,
then
they
indicated
to
the
other
people
sitting
in
the
lobby.
I
agreed
that
an
early
check
in
can't
always
be
accommodated.
After
sitting
down
in
the
lobby,
all
3
parties
ended
up
getting
on
a
airport
shuttle
bus
and
leaving
to
go
to
the
airport.
I
waited
till
noon,
which
I
was
told
by
the
staff
was
how
long
I
would
need
to
wait
to
get
my
room.
At
noon
when
I
spoke
to
the
same
staff
member
I
was
told
no
and
to
give
another
25
mins.
I
waited
again
and
was
given
my
room.
As
I
walked
down
the
hallway
to
another
hallway
with
the
rooms
down
it,
a
cleaning
staff
member
"stepped
over"
my
bag
I
was
wheeling
beside
me
to
get
ahead
of
me,
without
even
acknowledging
I
was
even
there.
The
staff
member
did
so
only
to
get
to
a
cleaning
cart
parked
halfway
down
the
hallway,
then
stood
beside
the
trolley
making
it
even
harder
to
walk
past
when
I
approached
(they
did
not
move
or
acknowledge
I
was
walking
past)
The
room
I
was
given
was
a
normal
room.
The
hotel
claims
to
have
plug
adapters
for
guests.
So
I
went
to
borrow
one
as
I
hadn't
bought
one
myself
yet.
I
should
have
just
gone
to
buy
one
as
the
one
they
lent
to
me
was
clearly
labeled
that
it
would
not
change
the
voltage
of
the
plug.
This
would
have
fried
my
phone
as
we
use
a
different
voltage
in
Canada.
The
bed
in
the
room
was
two
singles
pushed
together,
which
made
for
a
very
uncomfortable
sleep
as
the
ridges
from
both
mattresses
were
very
firm
down
the
middle
of
the
bed.
I
found
a
stain
on
one
hand
trowel
in
the
bathroom.
After
settling
in
a
bit
I
was
able
to
speak
to
my
wife
who
had
spent
the
night
there
a
week
prior,
she
told
me
that
when
she
was
there
she
spoke
to
the
front
desk
staff
about
my
arrival
and
due
to
travel
plans
and
flights
we
would
unfortunately
be
spending
our
anniversary
apart.
She
discussed
what,
if
anything
they
could
do
to
make
me
feel
more
welcome
while
I
was
there
alone.
The
staff
member
assured
her
they
would
do
something
nice
for
me
and
supposedly
put
the
notes
in
the
computer
under
my
reservation,
she
also
mentioned
I
would
be
showing
up
early
and
that
they
would
help
out
two
get
me
a
room
earlier
than
the
normal
check
in
time.
Again
the
staff
failed
to
be
truthful
about
their
intentions
and
did
nothing
when
I
arrived.
The
following
morning
after
a
terrible
night
on
the
uncomfortable
mattresses
I
went
for
breakfast
in
the
hotel.
This
was
the
only
enjoyable
part
I
had
there
as
the
food
wasn't
too
bad.
But,
I
couldn't
find
the
ketchup
so
I
asked
another
staff
member
where
it
might
be.
Now
granted
I
had
seen
this
staff
member
going
in
and
out
of
the
kitchen
with
plates
so
I
thought
that
it
would
be
a
valid
question.
I
guess
not.
I
was
told
"I
don't
work
in
this
section
then
pointed
at
the
entire
kitchen
behind
me
and
said
it's
over
there,
all
the
while
never
breaking
stride
as
they
walked
away.
The
breakfast
was
pricey,
at
16.85
pounds.
Again
my
wife
told
me
that
at
her
check
in
they
said
if
she
bought
the
breakfast
then
it
was
quite
a
bit
cheaper.
I
was
not
offered
this.
All
in
all
this
was
a
terrible
experience
and
I
would
never
go
back
or
recommend
anyone
stay
at
this
hotel.
