This museum, where we see Greek mythology, reflects the history of its time to the fullest. Even though the mosaics are not worn out, they are worth seeing!

This is one of the must-see museums in Şanlıurfa. Because it hosts very beautiful mosaic works that are unique in the world. Since it has a huge area of 6,000 square meters, you can visit and see the beautiful and diverse mosaics to your heart's content when you come here. The works here consist of mosaics unearthed in Haleplibahçe. Yes, the most famous works of Haleplibahçe mosaic museum are as follows;  Ktisis Mosaic Ktisis, known as the protector and founder of the Villa of the Amazons  Hunting Amazons Let us tell you right away that you will come across amazing mosaics. Because these mosaics are "The World's First Example of Warrior Amazon Queens Painted on a Mosaic". These mosaics are unique in the world. That's why these mosaics have attracted the attention of not only you but also the whole world.  Orppheus Mosaic A mosaic that was taken abroad from Turkey, exhibited in the Dallas Museum of Art for a while, and then came back to Turkey. The one depicted in this mosaic is a Phrygian bard playing the lyre instrument. At the same time, the Orpfeus mosaic is the oldest of the Şanlıurfa mosaics, dating back to 194 AD. I am sure that you will experience the atmosphere of that era in your bones during your visit.

Included in the price of the nearby Archaeology museum is this jewel of a find. Newly discovered mosaics and some saved from the adjacent caves across the street. The museum was empty save for me sdo I really got to relish the experience. Photography is allowed. There is a cafe and clean restrooms. The museum is wheelchair accessible. Be sure and visit the caves across the street. They are closed but a kind policeman let me inside for a glimpse.

This mosaic museum is unique. Why? Because the museum is literally " on" the site where the mosaics were discovered. Rather than moving these amazing mosaics and risk something lost in the move, the smart team kept everything intact and found an intelligent way to have visitors walk above the mosaics without damaging a single piece. What you see here is mesmerizing - including an Amazing mosaic of Jesus Christ. ''Tis museum alone is worth a 2 HR flight from Istanbul.

A very interesting museum to visit, the cost of entry was 25 TL and 25 TL for the audio guide. We find the audio guide nice if you do not have a real guide. The ticket purchased to enter the archaeology museum is also good to enter the Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum. We would recommend visiting both museums. 3btraveler

Excellent mosaic museum. Spacious and clear texts. Not too overwhelming to make you lose attention. Worth a visit but need to get the entrance ticket from the archeology museum. Muzekart can be used here

This is a must see. It takes about an hour to walk through and enjoy everything. It’s well designed and preserved. They even have glass walkways which allow you to see what you are walking over. One ticket allows entry to both museums, but only on the same day. I recommend 3 hours to see both. It’s a great deal.

I passionately loved this mosaic museum- so beautifully presented. I was moved by some of the faces with which I felt I had eye contact. The artistry and craftsmanship of this art work is hard to comprehend.

There is a lady working at the turnstile with very low intelligence capacity. I went out of the area to go to the bathroom, I asked if I could come back in, and he prevented me from going in, saying it would take 3 hours. If you need to go to the toilet before entering, go to the toilet, otherwise you will not be able to explain your problem.

An exquisite sampling of the remains of original ancient mosaics. Great authentic examples of what life was like. I really enjoyed my visit.

A nicely laid out museum highlighting mosaics from the region. The museum spared no expense in creating a space to showcase the magnificent mosaics. The highlights are the Amazon mosaic and the Orpheus mosaic. It is covered in the entrance fee to the main Sanliurfa Museum, and is definitely worth spending some time in.

The mosaics are very nice and laid out well. The information regarding the villa could be a little more extensive. The English language information boards however are of very low quality. This is not just bad English, this is ridiculous English. That does not match at all the overall professional quality with which the museum is set up.

Smaller than in Gaziantep, but still needs to see if you are in Urfa. It's not very big place, 1,5 hour might be enough.
